Red Carpet Fashion Awards

There were many more ladies who took to the red carpet last night for the ‘Skyfall’ royal world premiere, held at the Royal Albert Hall in London.

Naomi Campbell: The supermodel and her forever-bemused beau took to the red carpet in almost matching suits. Her Alexander McQueen Resort 2013 black suit had wide white lapels, while Vladislav Doronin opted for classic black. Naomi accessorized her look with a black Alexander McQueen clutch and silver crucifix.

Holly Valance: You should instantly recognise Holly’s Tom Ford dress as it’s the shorter, orange version of the same dress Gwyneth Paltrow wore to the Oscars this year. I do also like this version, but I hate the way Holly styled it, especially with that limp hair. Read more…

Minnie Driver joined Charlize Theron, Noomi Rapace and Salma Hayek on the red carpet for the ‘Prometheus’ world premiere in London yesterday evening.

The British actress wore a Temperley London Pre-Fall 2012 dress.

Her full-length metallic-gold French-lace long-sleeve dress with an olive-green silk lining has an old Hollywood feel it.

Minnie’s elegant look was perfected with a chic French twist, a gold glitter clutch and gold peep-toes.

I find the clutch a tad jarring. It would’ve been interesting had she opted for an olive-green colour to match the lining of her dress.

Minnie Driver returned to the red carpet for the London Film Festival premiere of her latest movie ‘Hunky Dory’ last night.

The actress wore an Alberta Ferretti Fall 2011 gown.

Her grey silk satin gown with an asymmetrical cold-shoulder sleeve was teamed with a black Edie Parker clutch with silver hardware.

Soft waves and crystal drop earrings completed her look.

Minnie Driver hosted the Starlight Children’s Foundation Midwest’s 25th Anniversary Gala at The Standard Club in Chicago, Illinois recently.

It’s been a long while since we saw the British actress, but she looked stunning wearing a Georges Hobeika Spring 2011 Signature gown to this event.

The white gown with gold embellishments on the shoulders and around the waist, was an elegant choice for the gala which supports critically and chronically ill children throughout Illinois, Indiana, Michigan, and Wisconsin.

Hobeika will show his Fall 2011 Couture collection during Haute Couture Paris Fashion Week next month.

I’m sure celebs are eagerly awaiting his next collection as I am.

Minnie Driver lived up to her name at the “Barney’s Version” New York Premiere, by wearing a mini version of this Dolce & Gabbana Fall 2010 dress.

The mustard floral print dress has been not only shortened from the runway, but it’s also strapless.

Her sexy look was teamed with a Bottega Veneta knot satin intrecciato clutch and simple black pumps to ensure the focus was only on her dress.

With all due respect, Minnie Driver was one of those actresses I’d forgotten about.

In fact I can’t really recall a single dress she wore prior to the “Conviction” promo tour this year.

Whilst all eyes would’ve been on the main star of this movie, Hilary Swank, Minnie was making some impressive choices on the red carpet.

My favourite is still her Marchesa blue gown, but she also glowed in J. Mendel, Paul & Joe and Thomas Wylde.

Runner up: Kristen Bell
