Mindy Kaling In Salvador Pérez – ‘Inside Out’ Cannes Film Festival Premiere

"Inside Out" Premiere - The 68th Annual Cannes Film Festival

Mindy Kaling attended the ‘Inside Out’ premiere during the 68th annual Cannes Film Festival on Monday (May 18) in Cannes, France.

The actress was back on form, wearing a custom look from her favourite designer: Salvador Pérez.

I love how the look pays homage to her heritage and incorporates her love for colour, laced with bling for a touch of shimmering glamour.

I can’t say I’m a huge fan of the glitter sandals, but this look is considerably more memorable than those of her co-stars.

Variety’s Actors on Actors: Emmy Edition Red Carpet Roundup

Variety's Actors on Actors Emmy Edition Red Carpet Roundup

The Variety Studio Actors on Actors: Emmy Edition event, held on March 29 in Los Angeles, was a regular who’s who of powerful women in TV.

Mindy Kaling: Looking radiant and ready for spring, Mindy wore a matching green top and skirt with a bold tropical flower print. Paired with blush pink sandals, classic gold jewelry and a sleek, low-slung ponytail and soft pink lips, Mindy is looking gorgeous.

Lizzy Caplan: Taking a sleeker approach to the event, Lizzy wore a Andrew Gn Spring 2015 suit with white accent, Bionda Castana ‘Rosario’ pumps and Ippolita jewels. I love that she chose the white pumps with the look–it definitely adds some fun, and easy curls and bright red lips have her looking every bit the HBIC that she is.

Viola Davis: It’s not every day that a daytime frock gives you a ‘takes my breath away’ moment, but Viola did that for me in this sleeveless blue Donna Karan dress with lace and silver piping accents. She paired the look with gold Vince Camuto heels and Swarovski earrings, and she looks so radiant and fresh, I just can’t take my eyes off of her. Bouncy curls, glowing skin and a glossy pop of color on her lips finishes the ravishing look.

2015 Vanity Fair Oscar Party Red Carpet Roundup

Vanity Fair Party

Here is an quick roundup from the 2015 Vanity Fair Oscar Party, which took place on Sunday (February 22).

Jane Fonda: The actress shows us that Zuhair Murad doesn’t always spell tacky. This Spring 2015 Couture jumpsuit is divine and she is working it like no other. Kudos to her. Jimmy Choo ‘Creole’ pumps and a Rauwolf clutch accessorized her look.

Regina King: This Nicolas Jebran gown won’t be to everyone’s taste, but I love the artful colours on this design. I don’t, however, like the illusion neckline. Not close enough to her skin tone.

Leslie Mann: Like Naomi Watts, Leslie went the white suiting route, layering up with a selection of gold Neil Lane jewels the look probably didn’t really require so much of.

Mindy Kaling In Salvador Pérez – 17th Costume Designers Guild Awards

Mindy Kaling In Salvador Pérez - 17th Costume Designers Guild Awards

Mindy Kaling attended the 17th Costume Designers Guild Awards held at the Beverly Hilton Hotel on Tuesday (February 17) in Beverly Hills, California.

Trusting Salvador Pérez to create her red carpet look once again, the costume designer didn’t let her down with this gorgeous green strapless layered dress.

Mindy never fails to leave me in awe with her red carpet looks, and this elegant offering is no exception. I love the gold lace embroidery, which gives this Hollywood look a distinct Bollywood flourish.

A truly undervalued red carpet starlet, the look was perfectly styled with gold accessories, with a deep berry lip and high braided ponytail rounding out the look.

FOX Winter TCA All-Star Party Red Carpet Roundup

FOX Winter TCA All-Star Party Red Carpet Roundup

Here’s a roundup of the looks from the FOX Winter TCA All-Star Party at the Langham Hotel on Saturday (January 17) in Pasadena, California, which was also attended by Becki Newton and Jennifer Lopez.

January Jones: The ‘Mad Men’ actress opted to complement her strappy dual-colour sandals with her stripy Herve Leger flounced-hem dress. While the coat gives this look a sophisticated stance, I am still curious to see this without the outerwear.

Mindy Kaling: I can’t say I’m a huge fan of Mindy’s new ombre do, but I love the shimmer and shine reflecting off her gold metallic Smythe blazer, which she styled with a striped The Kooples shirt and Zero + Maria Cornejo ‘Tabi’ tapered trousers. Jerome C. Rousseau Gilliam pumps and a Kotur clutch accessorized her look.

Keri Russell: The actress stuck to her favoured colour, black, donning a jumpsuit featuring a deep sexy plunge. Breaking up the dark hue, she styled her look with a pair of white and black Louboutins, which create a stark contrast, but not an effective one in my eyes.

Mindy Kaling In Salvador Pérez - The PEOPLE Magazine Awards

Mindy Kaling picked up the ‘Screen Couple of the Year’ award with her co-star Chris Messina during the PEOPLE Magazine Awards held at the Beverly Hilton Hotel on Thursday (December 18) in Beverly Hills, California.

Turning to costume designer Salvador Pérez once again, the actress stunned in a hot-pink short-sleeve mini design.

I’ve always loved Mindy for her love of colour, and here it is fully embraced, showcasing her sassy side with that plunging neckline.

With metallic silver pumps, which sparkled as brightly as her drop earrings, this look couldn’t be more perfect.

Mindy Kaling In Salvador Perez – Glamour Women Of The Year Awards

Mindy Kaling In Salvador Perez - Glamour Women Of The Year Awards

While Zosia Mamet didn’t quite get the memo, Mindy Kaling was oozing with glamour on the red carpet at Carnegie Hall in New York City last night (November 10), where she attended the Glamour 2014 Women Of The Year Awards.

Beautiful blue was the theme of the night, from her ’60s-style shimmering dress created by The Mindy Project costume designer, Salvador Perez, to her Neil Lane jewels and even her makeup.

Styled with a Jimmy Choo ‘Sweetie’ clutch and metallic sandals, this look is further testament to why we just can’t get enough of Mindy’s red carpet style.

Colourful, fun and full of life, just like the wearer.
