Milla Jovovich In Armani Privé - Giorgio Armani Hosts 'One Night Only' Roma

Milla Jovovich wasn’t firing on all cylinders during Cannes Film Festival; however, she had a chance to redeem herself at the ‘One Night Only’ Roma event hosted by Giorgio Armani in Rome, Italy on Wednesday evening.

Sadly, I find myself once again very disappointed by her effort as I not only dislike the orange halter-neck Armani Privé Spring 2013 dress with that barrel accent, but I also dislike the styling, with the focus of my disdain starting with her mumsy hair.

The only plus regarding this look is that she didn’t opt for the runway styling.

Milla Jovovich In Valentino Couture - amfAR Cinema Against AIDS Gala

Ah, so this is what redemption looks like.

Milla Jovovich has been well below par during Cannes Film Festival, however, she made up for it on Thursday evening on the red carpet for the amfAR Cinema Against AIDS Gala held at Hotel du Cap-Eden-Roc in Cap d’Antibes, France.

The model/actress selected a stunning Valentino Spring 2013 Couture gown.

Her delicate blush gown with shimmering floral beaded embroidery, a plunging neckline and tiered ruffled skirt is by far her best look.

Sometimes her look can come off quite harsh, but here she is quite the opposite.

A Jimmy Choo ‘Carmen’ clutch, David Yurman jewels including green beryl and diamond drop earrings and a cognac diamond cuff complemented her look perfectly, with an additional sapphire cuff with a rubellite and diamond ring providing a nice pop of colour.

A braided updo and a shimmering pink lip colour completed her look.

Much improved, or is Milla having an off year here at Cannes?

Milla Jovovich In Armani - ‘All Is Lost’ Cannes Film Festival Premiere

Milla Jovovich was back on the red carpet this evening for the ‘All Is Lost’ Cannes Film Festival premiere held at the Palais des Festivals in France in this evening.

Selecting Armani tonight, I can’t say I’m too enamoured with this choice either, especially considering its similarities to the Prada gown she wore yesterday.

Both have a black top and navy skirt, embellished detailing and a waistline which looks like it has been tucked in.

My main problem with last night’s look was the top, today it is the skirt. There is just too much of it.

Milla Jovovich In Prada - 'Cleopatra' Cannes Film Festival Premiere

Milla Jovovich was back on the red carpet this evening attending the ‘Cleopatra’ Cannes Film Festival premiere held at the 60th Anniversary Theatre this evening in France.

We love Miuccia Prada, but she can’t make a gown. This was evident when Florence Welch attended the premiere for ‘The Great Gatsby’ last week, and here we have another poor attempt at creating a gown worthy of the occasion.

The gown features a loose black silk spaghetti strapped top with a navy embellished skirt, which would look better as a bed throw.

It is just an unflattering heap.

As I say every Cannes Film Festival, No Miuccia, NO.

Milla Jovovich In Chanel Couture - 'Blood Ties' Cannes Film Festival Premiere

Milla Jovovich is the one red carpet sighting we have all been waiting for.

The model/actress and L’Oreal spokesperson always delivers during Cannes Film Festival and tonight was no exception.

She looked divine, rocking a red, white and black Chanel Spring 2013 Couture floral sequin gown with Swarovski jewels and a black leather Chanel clutch to the premiere of ‘Blood Ties’ held at the Palais des Festivals in France.

Many of you didn’t like the lighter-coloured version Anna Wintour wore to the Met Gala, referring to the look as Granny Chic, but Milla oozes It-girl cool in her creation, especially when styled with heavily kohl-rimmed eyes and a shaggy bobbed hairstyle.

I don’t think removing the red belt lessens the effect of this stunning look.
