Miley Cyrus In Ashish – SXSW Film-Interactive-Music

Miley Cyrus In Ashish - SXSW Film-Interactive-Music

Miley Cyrus made a surprise appearance at The Fader Fort, presented by Converse, during the SXSW Film-Interactive-Music festival on Thursday (March 19) in Austin, Texas.

The songstress, who joined collaborator Mike WiLL, couldn’t be missed in an Ashish Fall 2015 ensemble that was perfectly in keeping with the rapper spirit of the event.

The heavily sequined, camouflage mini-dress and matching, oversized denim jacket ran no risk of blending into the crowd.

The lace detailing and mega-short frock brought the sexy edge to which we are accustomed in a Miley look, with the choker necklaces, shades, and sneaks all heightening the urban-street appeal.

I’m actually shocked that I am fully accepting of this loud look. Used in the context of the event, it actually provides a good dose of attitude—and she rocks it to her full advantage.

Miley Cyrus In Schiaparelli Couture – Elton John’s AIDS Foundation’s Oscar Viewing Party

Miley Cyrus In Schiaparelli Couture - Elton John’s AIDS Foundation’s Oscar Viewing Party

Miley Cyrus also attended Elton John’s AIDS Foundation’s Oscar Viewing Party at The City of West Hollywood Park last night (February 22) in West Hollywood, California.

The pop star wore a heart-print pant and cropped top combo with a black blazer and tulle scarf from the Schiaparelli Couture Spring 2015 collection.

She paired the funky look with Donald Drawbertson for Brian Atwood lip printed ‘Karin’ sandals and a Judith Leiber heart-shaped clutch and some chunky gold jewels.

Her hair was sleeked down and a bright orange lip was youthful and fun.

This look is so close to fantastic for me. It’s totally fresh and glam, and Miley is the perfect person to wear it, but the blazer needs to be tailored more and/or the neck tulle needs to be lost altogether. As is, it’s too heavy on the top, and you can’t fully appreciate how fabulous the pants and top truly are.

Tom Ford Fall 2015 Front Row

Tom Ford Fall 2015 Front Row

While some editors and models were headed to London for round two of fashion month, Anna Wintour, Karlie Kloss and Joan Smalls headed west for the Tom Ford Fall 2015 show which was showcased in LA on Friday (February 20).

The result, a packed A-List front row of which nineteen looks have been featured.

With the Oscars on Sunday and with everyone in town, it was quite a master-stroke to host the show in LA this weekend.

TOM’S FAVOURITES
Julianne Moore: The actress was no doubt top of the guest list working a Spring 2015 green ensemble festooned with feathers, sequins and camo print. I would not bet against Julianne wearing Tom Ford on Sunday despite the Givenchy run up.

Gwyneth Paltrow: I expected a bit more from Gwynie. This cold shoulder Pre-Fall 2015 LBD feels a bit been there done that and boring for such an occasion.

The Carters: He was looking mighty dapper in a signature wide lapel suit, while she was looking bootylicious in a typically sheer embellished Spring 2014 creation.

Miley Cyrus In Alexandre Vauthier Couture – 2015 Grammy Awards

Miley Cyrus In Alexandre Vauthier Couture - 2015 Grammy Awards

Miley Cyrus was nominated for her ‘Bangerz’ album at the 2015 Grammy Awards, held at the Staples Center in Los Angeles, California on Sunday (February 8).

Continuing her Alexandre Vauthier streak from the Pre-Grammy Gala and Salute event, she trotted out the designer again, this time notching up the attention-grabbing antics just a bit with a Spring 2015 Couture skin-baring, black gown paired with minimal Lorraine Schwartz jewels.

Strategically placed cutouts for added sex appeal were the only mildly irreverent element here, even if the peek-a-boo placement at the hip wasn’t all the flattering.

Still, with her sleek partless ’do and bare-faced makeup, this was a moderately conservative statement from the boundaries-pushing singer and I’m not complaining.

Miley Cyrus In Alexandre Vauthier – Pre-GRAMMY Gala And Salute Honouring Martin Bandier

Miley Cyrus In Alexandre Vauthier - Pre-GRAMMY Gala And Salute Honouring Martin Bandier

Miley Cyrus attended the Pre-GRAMMY Gala And Salute To Industry Icons Honouring Martin Bandier held at The Beverly Hilton on Saturday (February 7) in Los Angeles, California.

I was surprised by the lack of attention seeking-antics I expect from a Miley Cyrus look.

Possibly saving that for the evening, the singer kept the look simple wearing a red halter Alexandre Vauthier dress with just a thigh high slit.

I’m not too fond of the styling, but I will take a silver shoulder bag over a sheer dress with nipple pasties any day.

Miley Cyrus In Moschino – The DAILY FRONT ROW ‘Fashion Los Angeles Awards’

Miley Cyrus In Moschino - The DAILY FRONT ROW 'Fashion Los Angeles Awards'

Miley Cyrus attended The DAILY FRONT ROW ‘Fashion Los Angeles Awards’ Show held at the Sunset Tower on Thursday (January 22) in West Hollywood, California, where she presented Jeremy Scott with the Designer of the Year award.

The singer rocked a black and white sequined Moschino Pre-Fall 2015 shirt dress with a cheeky statement that read, ‘I Had Nothing to Wear So I Put On This Moschino Dress’.

Styled with a custom bag with ‘Miley’ replacing the signature Moschino gold lettering, I perhaps would’ve given this look a pass had it not been for the white pumps. High-top sneakers would’ve looked so much better.
