2018 Golden Globe Awards Red Carpet Roundup

Black was of course the shade of the night at the 2018 Golden Globe Awards on Sunday (January 7) with celebrities putting their own interpretations on the dress code.

Kelly Clarkson: The singer’s custom Christian Siriano gown will likely draw comparisons to Mary J. Blige’s Alberta Ferretti look because of the contrasting one sleeve. The dramatically full skirt on Kelly’s matched the joy of the shimmering gold fabric. The pockets were a delightful addition.

Oprah Winfrey In Atelier Versace – 2018 Golden Globe Awards

Oprah Winfrey was awarded the Cecil B. DeMille Award at the 2018 Golden Globe Awards on Sunday (January 7), where she brought the Golden Globes audience to their feet with a powerful speech which felt so presidential, that it’s prompted speculation that she’s about a run for the White House.

She stunned wearing a custom-made Atelier Versace off the shoulder, fitted long sleeved black velvet gown with Swarovski crystal encrusted accents along the neckline and waist styled with Sophia Webster shoes.

I don’t know about you but I’m living for her hourglass silhouette, the scrumptious fabrication and elegance of it all.

Oprah has never looked so good.

Emma Watson In Ronald van der Kemp – 2018 Golden Globe Awards

Noted women’s group leader Marai Larasi was Emma Watson’s guest at the 2018 Golden Globe Awards on Sunday (January 7).

Both were of course in black, with Emma decked out in a satin gown from Ronald van der Kemp with Creatures of Comfort shoes.

Voluminous ruffles keep the look contemporary while sheer inserts of lace lend sensuality and texture.

I was surprised to see one of Emma’s gowns end up as one of your least favourites of 2017, so how does this look fare?
