Red Carpet Fashion Awards

Michelle Williams returned to the red carpet for the 2012 Critics’ Choice Awards this evening.

On this occasion she wore a Chanel Resort 2012 dress.

Her classic black and white dress adorned with an embellished belt, may not be the bold colour many of us are hoping to see from Michelle, but her look is very impactful nonetheless.

Michelle’s styling was very simple with a quilted Chanel clutch and Fred Leighton for Forevermark jewels.

A copper lip colour matched her strawberry blonde cropped do.

This gets a huge thumbs up from me.

Michelle Williams took a night off wearing nude whilst attending the Forevermark and InStyle ‘Beauty & Brilliance’ celebration held at Bar Nineteen within the Beverly Hills Hotel in California yesterday.

The actress was glowing wearing a Versace Spring 2012 dress.

Her white pleated, draped dress was accessorized with a gold studded belt.

Champagne-coloured Versace sandals were the perfect finishing touch.

I already can’t wait to see what she wears next.

Michelle Williams was the guest of honour alongside co-star Kenneth Branagh at a lunch event recognizing the their hit movie, ‘My Week With Marilyn’, hosted by Jean Shafiroff and the Weinstein Company in LA on Tuesday.

The actress looked predictably adorable in a crew-neck striped sweater and matching burgundy leather pencil skirt from the recent Jason Wu Pre-Fall 2012 collection.

I love how impeccably well put together this look is, even if everything seems a matchy-matchy right down to her nude Miu Miu peep-toes and deep-red pedicure.

A newly-dyed reddish-blonde pixie cut and neutral makeup complete the look.

Michelle Williams accepted the ‘Achievement Award’ for her role as Marilyn Monroe in ‘My Week with Marilyn’ at the Palm Springs Film Festival Awards Gala on Saturday evening.

Debuting a darker strawberry blonde ‘do, Michelle wore a champagne Miu Miu silk and beaded dress.

The beaded top looks quite beautiful on Michelle, as the bronzed beads in particular highlight her new hair colour and strappy sandals.

The silk skirt, however, looks wrinkled and therefore brings the entire look down.

As Michelle steps out in yet another neutral-coloured dress, we can only hope that she is saving her coloured choices to wow us during awards season.

Her mustard-yellow Vera Wang gown at the 2006 Academy Awards is one of my personal favourite red carpet moments of all time, and I would love to see a repeat magic moment come February.

Prada bronze vernice platform cross-strap heels completed her look.

Michelle Williams visited ‘The Tonight Show with Jay Leno’ yesterday to talk about her latest movie, ‘My Week With Marilyn’.

The Golden Globe nominated actress looked lovely wearing a Jason Wu Spring 2012 dress.

The black and ivory silk gazar dress with peplum skirt is decorated with Swarovski elements.

Her sleeveless dress was paired with Fendi black patent bow front peep-toes and a simple ring.

Orange nail polish, kohl rimmed eyes and a dark pink lip colour completed her look.

With awards season around the corner, I can’t wait to see more of Michelle on the red carpet.

My only request is that she stay away from blush and nude colours as she’s done that to death.

Whilst Emma Watson was wowing the crowds at the London premiere for ‘My Week with Marilyn’ on Sunday night, Michelle Williams was doing the same on ‘Late Night with Jimmy Fallon’.

She took things up a notch from the predictable nude or neutral-coloured gown to don this Valentino Spring 2011 dress.

Her halter leather dress has lazer-cut details with a fishnet panel on the bodice and hemline.

Michelle proved to her British co-star that you can play around with a pixie cut, by giving herself a side parting and sweeping her textured locks to one side.

The actress didn’t stay totally away from nude of course; she wore nude Louboutins to complete her look.

‘My Week with Marilyn’ hits theatres this Wednesday in the US and Friday in the UK.
