Michelle Williams In Louis Vuitton - The New Yorker Festival 2013 'In Conversation' With Michelle Williams

Michelle Williams was the featured guest at The New Yorker Festival 2013′s ‘In Conversation’ event, where she spoke with writer David Denby at New York City’s SVA Theater 1 on Saturday.

The actress combined cutesy and classic with her structured Louis Vuitton short-sleeve, shirt-dress, which featured a black-and-white checquered print detail and a bow at the waist.

She kept the styling simple, opting for a pair of black pumps, with no visible jewels and only minimal makeup to complement the frock.

The hint of a pink lip did perk up the look, with her blonde quiff adding the most intriguing edge. I’m sure the conversation was plenty interesting, too.

'Baggage Claim' LA Premiere

‘Baggage Claim’ premiered at the Regal Cinemas L.A. Live in Los Angeles, California yesterday evening.

Paula Patton: The actress who consistently has more misses than hits donned a sheer Rhea Costa Fall 2013 frock with strategically placed embroidery for her red carpet look. She looks beautiful, but her boobs are squished in the dress; plus, considering what everyone else was wearing to this event, Paula appeared to be overdressed.

La La Anthony: The starlet managed to find the right balance of looking sexy yet not overcooked like Paula, wearing an LWD with lace detailing accenting the cut-outs. Silver shoes, a selection of silver jewels and graphic nail art completed her look.

Michelle Williams: The former Destiny’s Child singer is my best dressed here. Barring the black pumps, I would wear this entire look. Every piece works well together; the look doesn’t scream ‘try hard’ or ‘look at me’, yet she looks sexy and confident, plus that pink lip is divine.

Michelle Williams was captured by Peter Lindbergh for Louis Vuitton’s latest campaign highlighting their new bags – the ‘W’ and the ‘Capucines’ – wearing a look from the fashion house’s Fall 2013 collection.

The pretty blonde actress was given a dramatic makeover by hairstylist Sam McKnight and makeup artist Stéphane Marais, who gave her pixie crop a spiky twist and brought out her delicate features with dark eyes and a bold blood-red lip colour.

Michelle is no stranger to wearing Louis Vuitton on the red carpet; the red strapless LV gown she wore to the 2012 Oscars is the most notable.

Look out for this campaign, which is due to break in September.

Who Wore Herve Leger Better Michelle Williams or Michelle Rodriguez

Last month, Michelle Williams attended the 28th Annual Rock and Roll Hall of Fame Induction Ceremony held at the Nokia Theatre L.A. Live in California, where she wore a black-and-white Herve Leger bandage gown.

The singer added black Giuseppe Zanotti sandals and a black clutch to her look.

Michelle Rodriguez wore the same gown in white-and-black while attending the ‘Fast & Furious 6’ Seoul premiere in South Korea on Monday.

The actress opted for a simpler approach, adding just a silver cuff to her look, with a beauty regime consisting of barely there makeup and naturally wavy tresses.

Both women look gorgeous; however, I’m going to give this win to Michelle Williams because I appreciate her efforts to go glam in this look.

Michelle Williams Saint Laurent - 2013 Met Gala

Michelle Williams attempted to vamp up her style for the punk themed 2013 Met Gala on Monday evening in New York City.

I say attempt because even with the vampy makeup and punk rock hairdo, I still see sweet innocent Michelle underneath.

Keeping to her trademark classic style, she donned a black strapless Saint Laurent gown with a high-low hemline, with black T-strap Saint Laurent pumps giving the look a ladylike finish.

Fred Leighton jewels, which included a diamond tiara, and an Olympia Le-Tan book clutch for a quirky finish completed her look.

Should Michelle have pushed the punk element further? A pair of studded cuffs or studded Giuseppe Zanotti pumps perhaps?
