Louis Vuitton x Jeff Koons Collaboration Launch Party

No stranger to collaborations, Louis Vuitton has now partnered with pop artist Jeff Koons on a limited line of accessories launching in April 28. To celebrate this Masters capsule collection, a dinner was held in Paris on Tuesday (April 11), with a host of LV-clad lovelies in attendance.

Jennifer Connelly: With a nod to a softer, romantic mood, Jennifer let her hair down in this decorative brocade and lace frock topped with a feathery stole. The label’s signature patent booties brought back the edge we’d expect in a look from this actress.

Fan Bingbing: Fan wore the signature sheer asymmetry of this gown effortlessly, which we’ve seen in different variation on Sophie Turner and Janice Man. I just think it would have been better served by sleeker styling, as the handbag and earrings competed rather than complemented the dress.

Cate Blanchett: As per, Cate cut a striking figure. But, the tailored regality of the sculptural top disappeared a bit with the drop-crotch pants, which can be something of an acquired taste.

Louis Vuitton Fall 2017 Front Row

The ladies of the Louis Vuitton Fall 2017 front row made from an impressive—and impressively cohesive—showing at the Paris Fashion Week show on Tuesday (March 7), with all donning surprisingly well-coordinated looks from the house of LV.

Michelle Williams: A power LBD if there ever was one, this look proved that there’s nothing monotonous about the sultry-sweet lines of a black leather dress edged up further by a sharp pair of booties.

Sophie Turner: Commanding a chic, warrior-princess mood, the ‘Game of Thrones’ actress was also the ultimate fashion girl in this forward look. On paper, the furry vest, gathered leather skirt, and futuristic white boots would be strange bedfellows, but it works beautifully on Sophie.

Jennifer Connelly: The actress’s LV looks can be hit and miss. But she was at the top of her game with the sleek lines of this black dress accessorised by those striking white boots and graphic clutch.

Michelle Williams In Louis Vuitton – 2017 Oscars

Michelle Williams joined the star-studded list at the 2017 Oscars on Sunday (February 26) in Hollywood, California.

I had high hopes for the actress who we knew would be dressed in a Louis Vuitton design. And, she was.

But something about this tied halter gown just fell a bit flat—and a bit long in the skirt that puddled on the ground.

Her platinum pixie cut and mauve-rose makeup was a pretty way to finish the look, even if it didn’t remedy its lacklustre nature.

Michelle Williams In Louis Vuitton – 2017 BAFTAs

Michelle Williams also attended the 2017 BAFTAs on Sunday (February 12) in London, England.

The Best Supporting Actress nominee for ‘Manchester By The Sea’ took a fashion risk with this Louis Vuitton dress, and unfortunately it hasn’t won ‘best dressed’ for me.

Without the slightly strange face design, it would have just been a simple sequinned mini dress, which I would have preferred to this. I just can’t get on board with the design.

On the plus side though, I think this shape is a winner for Michelle, and the Louis Vuitton shoes are a good choice too.

What are your thoughts?

Michelle Williams In Louis Vuitton- 89th Annual Academy Awards Nominee Luncheon

Michelle Williams had a mod moment at the 89th Annual Academy Awards Nominee Luncheon on Monday (February 6) in Beverly Hills.

She was, of course, dressed in Louis Vuitton—no surprises there.

But, this particular frock was custom-made for her, which again helped in keeping her LV looks fresher and more varied than a copy-paste-repeat from the runway.

The pale peach hue might raise some eyebrows, but the retro spunk of the design was adorable on the actress and it suited her pixie cut quite well.

Michelle Williams In Louis Vuitton – Santa Barbara International Film Festival: Cinema Vanguard Award

Michelle Williams attended the Cinema Vanguard Award during the 32nd Santa Barbara International Film Festival on Sunday (February 5) in California.

There was a time when Jennifer Connelly was often wearing Louis Vuitton and I found myself quite fatigued and always hoping for more variety.

However, I don’t have this same feeling with Michelle.

I think this is partial due to the fact that Michelle appears to sticking to pieces that haven’t been seen on the runway even though the rope ties and cut-out on the hip suggest this is from the Spring 2017 collection.

Some might say the colour is washing her out, but I would portion a huge part of that blame on the lighting at his event.
