BlackBerry Torch Launch Party Trend – Black Blazers

Actress Shenae Grimes, Michelle Trachtenberg and Rashida Jones all sported black blazers at the BlackBerry Torch Launch Party in LA last night.

Sheane toughen up her Zara blazer by adding Helmut Lang skinny leather pants, a striped tank, a small crucifix and scuffed boots.

Maybe that black hair is part of the rock chic persona she’s trying to give us.

Michelle may have gone for an all dark look, but her Dannijo statement necklace takes this look from a 4 to a 9 out of 10.

She’s also wearing my favourite blazer, as I love those satin lapels which is from H&M.

J Brand jeans, Stuart Weitzman heels and Giuseppe Zanotti clutch complete the look.

Rashida’s look is all about her accessories. This is where Anna Kendrick failed to add a spark to her look.

Her necklace, clutch, LD Tuttle fringed sandals and gold bracelets perfect her overall look.

She didn’t really need her 3.1 Phillip Lim blazer with her ivory top and petrol green skirt, but this is very much her signature style and she totally makes it work for her.

Tres chic.

More From The Sex And The City 2 New York Premiere Red Carpet

Sarah Jessica Parker, Kristin Davis, Cynthia Nixon and Kim Cattrall blew everyone away on the red carpet for the New York premiere of Sex And The City 2 last night.

Here is a look at the rest of the celebs who attended.

Becki Newton looked adorable wearing a Celine Resort 2010 blazer with cute black leather shorts.

Brian Atwood heels and a Chanel clutch completed her look.

Cute, yet chic.

Jessica Szohr opted for a tougher look wearing a black Willow Fall 2010 tuxedo jumpsuit with a twisted front.

I do like the jumpsuit but the pants are too long on Jessica. Her black bandage wedges which are also from the Willow Fall 2010 collection didn’t excite me.

Jennifer Love Hewitt decided to be original opting for a Herve Leger crystal-embellished bandage dress from the Resort 2010 collection which she paired with Christian Louboutin Studio 120 peep-toe pumps.

As much as I prefer the runway Herve Leger dresses, she does look smokin’ hot in her signature dress.

Becki’s Celine jacket is my favourite out of these looks.

Whitney Port wore a black georgette Moschino Spring 2010 dress with front twist detail and a poufy skirt.

Writer Candace Bushnell opted for a crystal embellished look from the Miu Miu Spring 2010 collection with Miu Miu glitter-embellished platform sandals.

Padma Lakshmi wore a Naeem Khan Fall 2008 sleeveless white peony-embroidered flared dress.

This was originally presented as a dress with fur cuffed sleeves.

Lebanese actress Raya Meddine – who appears in the SATC 2 movie – wore a black Rami Kashou Spring 2010 silk organza pleated rose gown.

Keri Hilson wore this same dress to the NAACP Image Awards earlier this year.

I love how Raya let her dress do all the talking.

Michelle Trachtenberg wore a red hot Notte by Marchesa strapless lace dress with draped chiffon overlay.

Amanda Peet opted for a very casual “I’m just popping down to the Mall look”, wearing an Isabel Marant printed dress and khaki jacket. Prada heels completed her look.

Vanessa Williams was gorgeous in a purple draped dress, whilst Melania Trump wore a Catherine Malandrino ruffled mini dress with nude Louboutin’s.

Runway To “Cop Out” New York Premiere – Michelle Trachtenberg In Marchesa

Michelle Trachtenberg looked stunning when she walked the red carpet at the “Cop Out” New York premiere on Monday night.

Michelle usually doesn’t excite me as she tends to wear a lot of dark colours, but her Marchesa Resort 2010 sheath dress is exquisite.

I just love that embroidered neckline and the fringed detail on the shoulders.

I’m also loving the hair and the attitude she’s giving with her sultry pose.

But what I LOVE, Love, love most about this look are those green satin Louboutin Pigalle pumps with a satin overlay.

Simple black pumps would have been the easy option, so I’m glad she didn’t take it.

I believe this is BDOTW worthy. Do you?

“You Know You Want It” Publication Celebration

I’m split when it comes to Leighton Meester wearing this Louis Vuitton Spring 2010 ensemble.

I love the fact that she tried to make the look her own, but I also loved how this look was presented on the runway.

Her grey top and matching Balenciaga heels give this look a more grown up feel, whereas runway look has a cute girlie feel to it.

Of course I wouldn’t expect Leighton to wear this look with the stockings and clogs.

Yet I remain torn.

What are your feelings on this look?

When it comes to Blake Lively many of your comments contain the question “boobs or legs?”

On this occasion she put both away, but I’m sure many of you will notice that her bra is peeking out of her shirt.

Her look also consisted of a black Nonoo Lyons Fall 2009 tailcoat, what appear to be black shorts and Stella McCartney thigh-high perforated boots from the Fall 2009 collection.

Both girls sported different looks, but I think I prefer Blake’s as I feel like she put this look together herself.

Even when she wears an edgier designer Michelle Trachtenberg doesn’t falter from her prim lady-like look wearing a navy Rag & Bone Spring 2010 dress, with a silk bow tied around her waist.

Tights, black patent pumps, a Chanel clutch complete her look.

Just once I’d like to see her try an edgier look.

Jessica Szohr showed off her sexy Alice + Olivia LBD with mesh back to full effect.

A gold Hunting Season python clutch and black patent Alejandro Ingelmo heels complete the look.

2009 Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show

Red Carpet

Heidi Klum shows off her post-pregnancy figure wearing a black Roberto Cavalli tiered chiffon dress with asymmetrical strap with a paillette trim.

She completes her fabulous look wearing satin Christian Louboutin Maggie heels.

Fabulous.

What I love most about Fergie’s look is her silver embellished Christian Louboutin pigalles.

They are truly lust worthy as they sparkle as brightly as her necklace and bracelet.

The singer looked sexy wearing a red hot lace Dolce & Gabbana mini dress.

I’m still not understanding her hair colouring.

Carine Roitfeld wore her Dolce & Gabbana lace dress/cape/Christian Louboutin thigh high boots combination for the 2nd time in 2 weeks.

We didn’t like it the first time Carine.

Keri Hilson is normally immaculate on the red carpet.

On this rare occasion she looks hideous as her dress look very cheap. She also looks one step away from a wardrobe malfunction.

For such a fun loving event Michelle Trachtenberg’s navy strapless dress feels a bit too conservative.

After Party

At the after party the models came out to play.

Alessandra Ambrosio looked adorable in her sassy Valentino Fall 2009 Couture bustier dress.

Chanel Iman flashed us her megawatt trademark smile whilst wearing the same Marc Jacobs Resort 2010 dress we’ve seen on Anne Hathaway.

Marisa Miller was of course in Herve Leger, and Selita Ebanks donned a tight metallic dress with Givenchy heels.

Fergie performed at this event, but she wasn’t too tired to enjoy the party.

The singer wore a beautiful Blumarine Fall 2009 multi-colour animal print mini dress, which she toughen up with Balmain Uma zipper ankle boots.

I love this look, even with those ankle boots.

Miranda Kerr makes me not hate leopard print.

The VS Angel shunned the expected mini dress, and opted for a sexy lingerie inspired Christian Dior Spring 2008 leopard print dress.

Sharon Stone will be so jealous.

Model Candice Swanepoel wore a very risqué dress from Cushnie et Ochs’ Spring 2010 collection.

I love the asymmetrical hem line and the nude heels she paired with her dress.

Oh Heidi, do you have to keep taunting us?

The fact that you can wear a PVC dress this skin-tight after giving birth 5 weeks ago is leaving us green with envy.

Gorgeous dress.

I’m guessing it won’t be long before we see Victoria Beckham in those white Trib Two’s as she has them in every other colour.

Anna Sui For Target Pop-Up Store Launch Party

Known for her mix of vintage glamour, art and culturally inspired-design, Anna Sui developed her Target collection inspired by the distinct looks of “Gossip Girl” characters Serena van der Woodsen, Blair Waldorf, Jenny Humphrey and Vanessa Abrams.

You may remember I did a post on the looks a few months ago.

Today Target opened a limited-time-only pop-up store in celebration of the Anna Sui for Target collection launch to give New Yorkers the opportunity to shop the entire collection before it hits stores nationwide on September 13th.

Emma Stone was one of the many guests at the launch party last night.

She wore a white lace accented with a blue bow from Blair Waldorf’s collection with uninspiring black pumps.

Blake Lively was there to support the collection, but wasn’t actually wearing the collection.

She wore a cute multi-coloured tiered dress with the same Christian Louboutin studded heels Alexandra Burke wore earlier this week, plus a stack of bangles.

Fresh faced and gorgeous as always.

Jessica Szohr gave us her best diva poses as she walked the red carpet wearing a cropped top and black jeans, with some questionable animal print heels.
