We agreed that Michelle Trachtenberg was the best dressed this week.
The ‘Gossip Girl’ actress was resplendent wearing a Marchesa gown to the 2011 School Of American Ballet Winter Ball in New York City this week.
Every time I say this is the best she’s ever looked she goes and outdoes herself.

Chloe Sevigny attended the Target GO International Designer Collective Launch last week in New York City.
The actress/fashion designer wore pieces from her own Chloe Sevigny for Opening Ceremony Spring 2011 collection.
A leopard print dress was teamed with a black bow-tie for a quirky touch.
Her look was also styled with a black blazer with draped pockets, stocking and suspenders plus Chloe Sevigny for Opening Ceremony Mary Jo booties.
Liv Tyler also wore Opening Ceremony. Her maroon dress styled with a black leather cropped jacket.
I love the pieces, but for some reason the overall look makes her appear quite shapeless and we all know Liv has an amazing womanly figure.
Michelle Trachtenberg wore a Rebecca Minkoff Fall 2011 forest green and black abstract printed wrap dress.
I’m guessing it’s still bitterly cold in New York as Michelle also wore tights with her look.

I’m really enjoying Michelle Trachtenberg’s red carpet choices at the moment.
The ‘Gossip Girl’ actress looked divine on the red carpet at the 2011 School Of American Ballet Winter Ball in New York City last night.
She wore a Marchesa appliqué silk-chiffon gown with a plunging neckline and embroidered detailing around the bodice.
The pale grey gown complements her skin-tone perfectly.
David Yurman and a sparkling Marchesa clutch completed her look.
I’m not sure if Michelle has a new stylist or she’s just making better choices, but I love that she appears to have taken things to another level.
This is my first BDOTW contender.

03.03.11 Premiere, Runway To Red Carpet
Last night Michelle Trachtenberg attended the LA Premiere of her new movie, “Take Me Home Tonight.”
The ‘Gossip Girl’ actress wore a Marchesa Fall 2010 mini dress.
The taupe one-shoulder dress has a ruffled embellishment detail cascading from her shoulder.
I loved this dress on the model, but the ruffle detail falls a bit flat on MT.
On the model you can see all the layers and embellishment between the layers, which you can’t on MT’s dress which is a shame because I love the colour on her.
Michelle accessorized with a nude clutch, shiny silver pointed heels and a silver bracelet.
Her hair was sleeked back into a ponytail.

Anne Heche wore D&G to the 2011 Independent Spirit Awards.
It’s one of the beachy looks at the event which I actually like.
Jimmy Choo heels and Irene Neuwirth completed her look.
When I saw Nicole Kidman wearing this L’Wren Scott red lace dress to this event I said to myself that she’s saving herself for the main event. Fingers crossed.
Great dress and even better shoes.
Kerry Washington is wearing a delightful mis-mash of Dolce & Gabbana prints. I would love to try this look, but I’m not sure I could pull it off quite so well.
A leopard print clutch and Sergio Rossi red suede ‘Lola’ pumps completed her look. Read more…

25.02.11 Runway To Red Carpet
Michelle Trachtenberg worked an old Hollywood chic look at the Hollywood Domino 4th Annual Gala in LA last night.
Half the pleasure of red carpet dressing for me is confidence and attitude one gives, and Michelle is giving me plenty.
She glided down the red carpet wearing an Edition by Georges Chakra Fall 2010 dress.
I’ll admit I wasn’t a fan of this look on the runway, but Michelle makes me a believer.
The white crepe strapless dress has a chic black lace bodice and peplum detail.
Her pose, make-up, flawless porcelain skin and stunning ruby jewel sell this look.
MT completes her look carrying a Swarovski gold crystal Revival clutch.
BDOTW contender in my eyes.
Do you agree? I think this is the best she’s ever looked on the red carpet.
