amfAR Los Angeles 2017

A crush of stars came out for amfAR Los Angeles 2017 on Friday (October 13) in Beverly Hills, California.

Heidi Klum: At this point, I’m always prepared to be disappointed with a Heidi look, but she actually stepped up to the plate in this Ralph & Russo Fall 2017 Couture gown that was a far more modern and sophisticated form of glittery glam for her.  The look was of course styled with Lorraine Schwartz  jewels.

Dita Von Teese: Designer Ulyana Sergeenko and Dita are a perfect match, as can be seen in this Demi-Couture gown that prizes the feminine form with its provocative bustier silhouette and seductive thigh slit.

Kate Hudson: Playing to her buzz cut, Kate kept it cool and mod in this David Koma Resort 2018 gown that scintillated with mirror-like embellishment.  A Jimmy Choo ‘Cloud’ clutch completed her look.

Michelle Rodriguez In Vivienne Westwood Couture – ‘The Fate Of The Furious’ New York Premiere

Michelle Rodriguez joined Rosie Huntington-Whiteley at the New York premiere of ‘The Fate Of The Furious’ on Saturday (April 8).

With a silver siren bombshell look, she wore a Vivienne Westwood Couture piece recognizable for the designer’s signature molded bodice and ruched side train.

The gown seemed a bit long, which dragged it down and called the fit into question.

But, I loved the aura of minimalist styling and the sleek beauty that she brought to the flash of the dress, ensuring its sophistication.

Michelle Rodriguez In Pamella Roland – ‘The Assignment’ New York Screening

Michelle Rodriguez attended ‘The Assignment’ New York screening on Monday (April 3).

Like Kristen Stewart, I think Michelle excels when she goes down the sexy tailored route; as perfectly demonstrated here in Pamella Roland where modern suiting and a glitzy off-the-top equates to chic sophistication.

Glossy waves, neutral makeup and a black clutch ensure this look stayed on the winning track.

The Leonardo DiCaprio Foundation 2nd Annual Saint-Tropez Gala Red Carpet Roundup

The Leonardo DiCaprio Foundation 2nd Annual Saint-Tropez Gala Red Carpet Roundup

There were many more stars who attended The Leonardo DiCaprio Foundation 2nd Annual Saint-Tropez Gala at Domaine Bertaud Belieu on Wednesday (July 22) in Saint-Tropez, France, joining Nina Dobrev, Kate Hudson and Marion Cotillard.

Jessica Stam: For those of you saying that Kate’s look was trashy, take a look at Jessica in this Francesco Scognamiglio Spring 2015 look and get back to me.

Michelle Rodriguez: The ‘Fast and Furious’ star also had me wondering “why did you bother putting on any clothes”?

Petra Nemcova: It was groundhog day for the model wearing this green beaded Elie Saab…I mean Zuhair Murad gown. She’s been there, done that, got the t-shirt, recycled it and still opted to wear it again.

Michelle Rodriguez In Vionnet – ‘La Glace Et Le Ciel’ Cannes Film Festival Premiere & Closing Ceremony

Michelle Rodriguez In Vionnet - 'La Glace Et Le Ciel' Cannes Film Festival Premiere & Closing Ceremony

Michelle Rodriguez attended the ‘La Glace Et Le Ciel’ Premiere and Closing Ceremony at the 68th annual Cannes Film Festival on Sunday (May 24) in Cannes, France.

While she wore a red gown her last time out at the amfAR Gala, this Vionnet Fall 2015 black semi-sheer gown was in direct opposition to that vibrant look.

Both sombre in colour and in silhouette, this dress was a rather uninspiring way to end the festival despite the hint of shine in her Chopard jewels.

Plus, it wasn’t exactly photography flash friendly.

Michelle Rodriguez In Romona Keveza – 2015 amfAR Cinema Against AIDS Gala

Michelle Rodriguez In Romona Keveza - 2015 amfAR Cinema Against AIDS Gala

Michelle Rodriguez attended amfAR’s 22nd Cinema Against AIDS Gala at Hôtel du Cap-Eden-Roc on Thursday (May 21) in Cap d’Antibes, France.

The ‘Furious 7’ star’s look was much improved following the Zuhair Murad opener.

Despite her love for dressing down she does make an effort when it comes to these gala events, which is always appreciated.

This Romona Keveza gown may translate as prom-like to some of you, but I loved the glamour the look was giving off, especially when styled with that Chopard necklace.

The only thing I would improve upon here is the makeup, which is looking a tad shiny.
