Red Carpet Fashion Awards

Emma Stone…I mean Michelle Monaghan attended the “Machine Gun Preacher” Toronto Film Festival Premiere of her new movie on Sunday.

The new red head picked a dress from Calvin Klein’s Fall 2011 collection.

Her short white dress features a metallic silver panel with grey side panels.

Michelle accessorized her minimalist dress with a silver framed box clutch, a cocktail ring and burgundy Brian Atwood “Power Stud” heels, which Blake Lively recently wore on the set of ‘Gossip Girl.

I love this super sleek dress on Michelle which she completed with pretty wavy hair and kohl-rimmed eyes.

Not so sure about shoe choice though.

Do you like her new hair colour?

Brooklyn Decker and Michelle Monaghan wore very similar punchy pink dresses on the redc carpet at the 2011 Met Gala last night.

Brooklyn wore a Michael Kors neon pink long sleeve gown which she teamed with Michael Kors accessories including nude platform sandal and a silver python barrel clutch.

Michelle wore a rose pink Derek Lam long sleeve dress with H.Stern jewels.

Both look stunning, but I can’t take my eyes of Brooklyn’s neon pink gown with a thigh-high split.

I love the vibrancy of her gown plus I love her contrasting clutch.

Remember back in the 80s when fringe was full and fluffy?

Thank goodness bangs have gotten much sexier over the years.

Instead of being barrel-curled, stacked way too high, and drenched in AquaNet, face-framing fringe today is sleek, chic, and the easiest way to shake up your strands and transform your tresses.

Whether blunt and piece-y like Michelle Monaghan’s, or choppy and wispy like Lake Bell’s, bangs are girlish yet grown, sophisticated yet sultry, modish yet mysterious, and rakish yet rock n’ roll.

Inspired yet?

Go faux first—try Hairdo by Ken Paves and Jessica Simpson Clip-in Bangs, $29 at Ulta.com.

That way you can enjoy the fringe benefits with none of the commitment.

Jake Gyllenhaal was been spotted in Spain promoting his new movie “Source Code”, whilst his co-star Michelle Monaghan stayed in the US to promote the movie on MTV’s ‘The Seven.’

Juan Carlos Obando’s gorgeous dresses have become very popular recently. It’s almost like celebrities have just discovered the designer.

I’ve always been a fan, so I’m happy to see Michelle showcasing this stunning blue watercolour Spring 2011 dress.

Her dress was paired with a gold cuff and navy Jimmy Choo heels.

We’ve had several issues with hair and make-up for Michelle’s last few outings, but I happy to report the hair is looking silky and fabulous on this occasion, but I’m still not too fond of the eye-shadow.

Michelle Monaghan attended a New York Screening of her new movie, “Source Code” last night with co-star Jake Gyllenhaal.

I really love her teal sleeveless Roksanda Ilincic Spring 2010 dress.

The asymmetric gathered skirt is very much Roksanda’s signature and provides an interesting detail on her dress.

Unfortunately, I’m having a problem with Michelle’s hair and make-up again.

The hair is a lot more smoothed out, but I’m still not fond of the bangs. The make-up is just too heavy for her pretty face. Less would be more in this case.

A black Jimmy Choo ‘Latoya’ clutch and Chrissie Morris ankle strap black sandals completed her look.

Michelle Monaghan arrived at the ArcLight Cinemas Cinerama Dome in LA last night, to join her co-star Jake Gyllenhall for the premiere of their new movie, “Source Code.”

The actress looked stunning walking the red carpet wearing a Versace Spring 2011 dress.

Her perfect for Spring dress with a patent leather belt and strap details off-the-shoulder, was paired with nude Versace pumps with a white heel.

The modern-day classic dress fits her like a glove.

My only problem with this look is that I feel like she’s hiding behind her hair.

I would’ve much preferred this look had she pulled her hair back.
