‘Downton Abbey’ London Press Launch

'Downton Abbey' London Press Launch

Michelle Dockery and Joanne Froggatt attended the press launch of ‘Downton Abbey’ at May Fair Hotel today (August 13) in London, England.

Even if it wasn’t deliberate, I love how they colour co-ordinated their black and white looks.

Michelle Dockery: Going down the masculine route, her sleek suit was given a sensual, feminine touch courtesy of the lace accented camisole top. I’m only liking this from the waist up. The cropped trousers needed some adjustment or another size.

Joanne Froggatt: Containing to favour white, the actress selected a midi dress by Self-Portrait. While the feeling is girlishly sweet, the black accents keep the look refreshingly modern. Joannes’ look was the perfect ying to Michelle’s yang.

BAFTA Celebrates ‘Downton Abbey’

BAFTA Celebrates 'Downton Abbey'
BAFTA celebrated ‘Downton Abbey’ at Richmond Theatre in Richmond, England on Tuesday (August 11), where the lovely ladies of the show were in attendance.

Joanne Froggatt: Maximizing the minimalist trend, the actress donned a Victoria Beckham white gown—which was lightly embellished at the back for visual interest—paired with an Edie Parker clutch. Breezier waves added a lighter, relaxed touch to the sleek look.

Michelle Dockery: Also taking a more minimalist angle, Michelle wore a Valentino Fall 2015 black and white ensemble that was a bit severe if not striking in its simplicity—especially with the bold finish of a red lip.

Laura Carmichael: While she maintained some of the black-and-white colour palette, the actress embraced the signature florals of Erdem in a Resort 2016 bow-accented dress, which was a sweetly charming look for her.

‘Downton Abbey’ 2015 Summer TCA Tour Cast Photocall

'Downton Abbey' 2015 Summer TCA Tour Cast Photocall

Michelle Dockery, Joanne Froggatt and Laura Carmichael attended the ‘Downton Abbey’ cast photocall during the 2015 Summer TCA Tour at The Beverly Hilton Hotel on Saturday (August 1) in Beverly Hills, California.

Michelle Dockery: The British actress immediately caught my eye out of the trio. Firstly because of the rich emerald hue of her Dion Lee Fall 2015 dress, and secondly because this dress instantly reminded me of a dress from the same collection that Cara Delevingne wore earlier this month.

Joanne Froggatt: While the contemporary houndstooth pattern of her Ermanno Scervino dress continues her love for all things lady-like and chic, it’s the red sandals which really sells this look to me.

Laura Carmichael: From the Halston Heritage dress to the Nicholas Kirkwood pumps, Laura continues to consistently bore me with her red carpet style.

Michelle Dockery in Erdem – 2014 British Fashion Awards

Michelle Dockery in Erdem - 2014 British Fashion Awards

Michelle Dockery returned to the red carpet at the 2014 British Fashion Awards, hosted at the London Coliseum in London, England on Monday (December 1), to present designer Erdem Moralioğlu with the Womenswear Designer of the Year trophy.

The ‘Downton Abbey’ actress naturally opted for an Erdem Spring 2015 dress, which she represented beautifully although I had every intention of passing it off as a bit cluttered and chaotic for comfort.

But the bold and botanical statement ultimately proved to grow on me with every passing glance, as Michelle carried off the embroidered layers of fronds and greenery with characteristic elegance.

The sheer, sexy peekaboo detailing only added to the dark mystique of the design, which was counteracted by a sense of Victorian properness via the high neckline and ankle-grazing length.

A slightly unkempt updo and desert-rose-toned makeup only added to the intrigue. She could have stepped off the runway herself.

Michelle Dockery In Rosie Assoulin – 2014 Emmy Awards

Michelle Dockery hit the red carpet of the 2014 Emmy Awards tonight (August 25) at the Nokia Theatre L.A. Live in Los Angeles.

The ‘Downton Abbey’ star wore a delightful Rosie Assoulin Fall 2014 gown with petal-like detailing and plenty of color.

It’s not every day you can say a gown looks better on the red carpet than it does on the runway, but I’m giving this one to Michelle. She brings this look to life in such a stunning way, and I love how much fun it is without being too wild and therefore out of her comfort zone.

Plenty of delicate Ana Khouri rings and pearl ear cuffs add to the whimsy of the look.

An easy updo, heavy eyeliner and dark nude lips are the perfect beauty accents to the fun look.

I’m giving this one a huge A+. Do you agree?

Michelle Dockery In Roland Mouret & Elie Saab - BAFTA Los Angeles TV Tea Party & Variety And Women In Film Emmy Nominee Celebration

Michelle Dockery went from one extreme to another for her red carpet looks on Saturday (August 23) while attending the BAFTA Los Angeles TV Tea Party before moving onto the Variety And Women In Film Emmy Nominee Celebration.

BAFTA Los Angeles TV Tea Party: Working a colourful Roland Mouret Resort 2015 coral and white crop top with a graphic print draped skirt, the look was styled with the most lust-worthy, and complementary, pair of Christian Louboutin ‘So Kate’ aqua pumps, matching aqua earrings and an Anya Hindmarch Imperial shagreen clutch.

Variety And Women In Film Emmy Nominee Celebration: She then went into the opposite direction selecting an all black look. Looking sophisticated and poised in her Elie Saab uber sleek sleeveless Fall 2014 jumpsuit, she styled the piece with Christian Louboutin ‘Follies Resille’ fishnet pointy toe pumps, a black clutch and Vita Fede ‘Filo Cubo’ earrings.

Michelle Dockery In Zac Posen – Audi Celebrates Emmys’ Week 2014

Michelle Dockery In Zac Posen - Audi Celebrates Emmys' Week 2014

Michelle Dockery returned to the red carpet to attend Audi’s celebration of Emmys Week 2014 held at Cecconi’s Restaurant on Thursday (August 21) in Los Angeles, California.

The ‘Downton Abbey’ actress wore a Zac Posen green Resort 2015 flattering strapless dress defined by strategically placed pintucks and pleats plus an asymmetrical hemline.

While being bowled over by the tailoring and the colour against her pale skin, the second place my eyes fell were to her gorgeous floral-print Paul Andrews pumps, which enhance the look along with the rich red lip.

A selection of jewels courtesy of EFFY Jewelry, Dana Rebecca Designs and Melinda Maria, plus a gold box clutch accessorized her look.

If this is the starter, I can’t wait for the main course on Monday night.
