Menswear Red Carpet Roundup

Two different premieres, and three handsome guys—here’s the latest in menswear.

Michael Fassbender: On Tuesday (March 6), Michael suited up in a Burberry three-piece ensemble for the ‘Tomb Raider’ London premiere, where he joined his wife Alicia Vikander. It was such a basic look in my book, so my feelings remain neutral.

David Oyelowo: ‘Basic’ would not even be in the vocabulary of this Kutula by Africana embroidered tunic look that offered such a stylishly suave mood for the ‘Gringo’ LA premiere on Tuesday (March 6). I especially love the royal richness of the colour palette here.

Joel Edgerton: We don’t often see brown corduroy suits on the red carpet, but Joel brought one to the ‘Gringo’ premiere, casually styling his Brunello Cucinelli suit with a denim shirt.

Menswear Red Carpet Roundup

Fresh from a weekend’s worth of looks, here’s what the men have been wearing lately.

Andrew Garfield: At the ‘Breathe’ New York special screening on Monday (October 9) alongside Claire Foy, Andrew donned a Tom Ford ensemble that continued his incredibly polished flair. Fresh off his BDOTW win—where he was also in Tom Ford—this look continued in fine form, as I loved the varied richness with which he wore these shades of blue, highlighted by the flash of a light pocket square to complete the effect.

Miles Teller: Joining Jennifer Connelly and Nina Dobrev at the ‘Only The Brave’ LA premiere on Sunday (October 8), Miles was all buttoned up in a conservative Ermenegildo Zegna Couture three-piece suit that was ever so dapper.

Michael Fassbender: Dropping by ‘The Late Late Show with James Corden’ on Friday night (October 6), Michael took a handsomely laid-back approach in Burberry tailoring that didn’t take itself too seriously by virtue of the unbuttoned dress shirt.

Menswear Red Carpet Roundup

A few men have been making the rounds to support their respective films. Here’s a look at what they wore.

Charlie Hunnam: Charlie joined the ladies at the LA premiere of ‘King Arthur: Legend Of The Sword’ was held on Monday (May 8). Looking sharp as usual, he kept it simple and straightforward in a traditional Prada suit with Christian Louboutin ‘So Charles’ brogues.

Michael Fassbender: At the ‘Alien Covenant’ movie presentation in Madrid on Monday (May 8), Michael went low-key handsome in a top-to-toe Brioni ensemble that subbed in a short-sleeve sweater for a dress shirt and sport coat. It was a nice change of pace.

Djimon Hounsou: Also at the LA premiere of ‘King Arthur: Legend Of The Sword’ Djimon impressed in his Ermenegildo Zegna blue-gray suit that he uniquely personalized with a patterned tie and pocket square as well as spike-embellished suede shoes.

‘Alien: Covenant’ World Premiere Menswear Roundup

A few men joined Katherine Waterstone and Dakota Blue Richards on the red carpet for the world premiere of ‘Alien: Covenant’ in London on Thursday (May 4).

Michael Fassbender: The actor looked sharp in a three-piece Brioni suit in a warm, dark charcoal hue. The tie struck me as a bit wide, but all in all, a handsome look for Michael.

Jussie Smollett: Also going the three-piece route, Jussie buttoned up in this plaid gray double-breasted vest styled with matching sport coat and trousers. He accessorised with a Henry London watch. His pants could have been better tailored at the bottom, if we were to nitpick.

SXSW Film Festival Weekend Menswear Roundup

Ryan Gosling and Michael Fassbender joined co-stars Rooney Mara and Berenice Marlohe for the ‘Song To Song’ premiere during the 2017 SXSW Film Festival on Friday (March 10) in Austin, Texas.

Ryan Gosling: As stated previously, this film festival is more of a relaxed affair, but that didn’t persuade Ryan from stepping out of his Gucci-clad comfort-zone. He may have gone sans tie, but there was still a very formal feel about this red carpet outing, which I am not begrudging at all.

Michael Fassbender: The Irish actor nailed his look by seamlessly marrying informality and refinement; topped off with Tom Ford shades.
