Red Carpet Fashion Awards

Kristen Stewart looked really good wearing a cream J.Mendel Spring 2010 strapless chiffon dress when she attended the Paris photocall for “The Twilight Saga: New Moon” at Hotel Crillon back in November.

The actress paired her dress with matching heels from her favourite shoe brand – Sergio Rossi.

Actress Melissa George wore the same dress when she attended the J. Mendel Fall 2010 presentation during New York Fashion Week.

She opted to wear her dress with the same white blazer this dress was presented with, plus gold ankle strap Christian Louboutin pumps.

Kristen wins for me because I love this look without the blazer and I much prefer her Sergio Rossi heels.

What is this Fashion Felony Friday?

This is no way close to being as bad as Kelis, but I really don’t like Melissa George’s look.

The actress attended the “Calvin Klein’s LA Arts Month And ALAC” Event in LA last night wearing a nude ribbed long-sleeve Calvin Klein dress, with nude heels and box clutch.

The colour of this shapeless dress, which she wears without a bra does nothing for her.

She may have thought the berry lip was a nice way to add a pop of colour to her look, but she’s too washed out for the colour to have a positive impact.

Australian actress Melissa George was on hand to help celebrate the opening of the new Burberry Prorsum store in Perth yesterday.

I believe Australia is currently mid-winter, so she was appropriately dress in her Burberry Fall 2009 ensemble which was quite a quintessential British look.

I love her botanical print silk taffeta Burberry Prorsum dress, which is perfect refreshing replacement for a LBD, but I wish I could have found one picture of her without the Burberry coat.

Burberry obviously wanted her to be styled like the runway model – 10 out of 10 for that effort – but is the dress sleeveless, 3/4 length sleeved?

These are questions I want answers to.

Those questions are partially answered by Net-A-Porter who have the v-neck version of the same Burberry Prorsum silk floral taffeta jacquard dress on sale for £2,495/€2,995.

They have also recently added Melissa’s Burberry Prorsum leather and wood sandals.

Stamp out your city style with these platform sandals for £525/€607.

Melissa George was in London last night to promote her psychological thriller “Triangle”, in which she plays five versions of the same character.

Melissa body language tells me she’s not sure about her Lanvin Pre-Fall 2009 gold metallic dress.

She’s very “Hmmm….I don’t know” and I feel much the same way, especially about the gathered detail on the hip.

The shimmering dress is gorgeous with its golden colour, but it fails to flatter Melissa.

We all know she has a amazing figure, but this dress doesn’t accentuate that. I’m not suggesting she only wear figure-hugging dress, but something that feels like she’s not hiding behind it.

Of course I’m disliking the tights with this look, but I do love her accessories which include an array of Lanvin’s signature glass pearl and grosgrain ribbon necklaces and a black Lanvin bag with a gold chain bag decorated the trademark black ribbon.

What do you think Yay or Nay?

Melissa George looked so elegant wearing a black one-shoulder Calvin Klein Fall 2009 with black strappy sandals from the same collection.

Unfortunately you can’t see the details of her dress in this picture, but from the runway you can see the layered detail which snakes around the dress.

Minimalist is that foundation on which Calvin Klein was built on, so Melissa kept her accessory’s to a minimum with a silver box clutch, earrings and a single bracelet.

Elettra Wiedemann also opted for a no frills look, simply wearing a black asymmetrical Calvin Klein Fall 2009 dress with a textured single buttoned jacket.

Black boots and a black clutch completed this beautiful simplicity, but I would’ve loved a dab of colour on her lips like Melissa.

We have a result!!!

Alexa Chung has finally taken my advice and washed her hair. Now only if she could do this more often.

The MTV presenter would have stood out in a sea of black dresses wearing a red Calvin Klein Collection Terall dress.

I love this bright red dress, which is made more interesting with her stunning silver necklace

Geez woman lose those darn booties with every look.
