Roksanda Ilincic’s Resort 2014 Collection Cocktail Party

Roksanda Ilincic Celebrates Resort 2014 Collection

Roksanda Ilincic presented her Resort 2014 Collection with a cocktail party held at the Chateau Marmont in Los Angeles, California on Wednesday evening.

The Serbian-born London-based designer already has legions of celebrity fans (plus the First Lady and Prime Minister’s wife). She was on hand to guide Hollywood stars through her most recent collection so they could make their picks for their next event before anyone else.

Louise Roe: The British TV host is a girl after my own heart. She loves colour, prints and shoes that don’t fall into uninspiring territory. Her pretty pink mini dress from the designer’s Fall 2013 collection featuring an interesting floral print was styled with Monika Chiang gold ankle-strap pumps. Head to toe, j’adore.

Julianne Hough: The actress wore an incredibly chic Roksanda Ilincic colour-block patchwork boucle wool dress from the designer’s Spring 2013 collection. She may be the shortest of the pack, but the punchy colours make her stand out.

Roksanda Ilincic: The designer herself looked just as good as her guests, wearing a black-and-blue ensemble with a ‘Dayton’ contrast collar top and vibrant blue-hued ‘Brooke’ skirt from her Spring 2013 collection. Those gold-and-black t-bar pumps have me gasping for air.

Ashley Madekwe: The actress also opted for a Spring 2013 look, wearing Oste crepe black orange-collared jumpsuit which she styled without the white top it was presented with on the runway. Needless to say this jumpsuit has been in my wishlist since hitting Net-A-Porter.com.

Mary Elizabeth Winstead: Of all the attendees at the event, Mary is the one who has worn Roksanda’s beautiful designs on more than one occasion. She accessorized her pale-pink Fall 2013 strapless dress with a black patent-leather waistband, Joe’s ‘Ollie’ canvas black pumps, a matching pink Nancy Gonzalez crocodile box clutch, Aprillah earrings, and rings by Elahn and Soffer Ari, styling her look with a chic updo and a bright fuchsia-pink lip colour. Had she opted for black sandals this look would have been perfection.

Who catches your eye from this beautifully styled, colourful group of ladies?

Mary Elizabeth Winstead In Andrew Gn – 2013 Vanity Fair party

Mary Elizabeth Winstead In Andrew Gn - 2013 Vanity Fair party

Keeping her look simple and classic, Mary Elizabeth Winstead joined a host of celebs on the red carpet at the 2013 Vanity Fair party on Sunday at the Sunset Tower Hotel in Hollywood, California.

She wore an Andrew Gn Spring 2013 origami gown with a white bodice and black voluminous skirt.

Keeping the styling simple was key to this look’s success, as was the skirt being the perfect length. Any longer and the look would’ve overwhelmed her.

She opted for sleek Marcel waves and a black clutch, with subtle jewels and a pretty pink lip colour providing the finishing touches.

Mary Elizabeth Winstead In Emilio Pucci – 2013 Independent Spirit Awards

Mary Elizabeth Winstead In Emilio Pucci - 2013 Independent Spirit Awards

Mary Elizabeth Winstead was one of many stars who took to the red carpet at Santa Monica Beach in California for the 2013 Film Independent Spirit Awards this afternoon.

She wore a light blue summery Emilio Pucci frock, which is from the Fall 2012 collection.

Sporting funky cut-outs in the shoulders and a slit on the hemline, her sexy dress also featured a gathered detail at the waist which swept from left to right.

While I like her mustard clutch, her Greymer leather wedges aren’t so complementary with the rest of her look.

Mary Elizabeth Winstead In Roksanda Ilincic - TheWrap 4th Annual Pre-Oscar Party

Mary Elizabeth Winstead joined Jessica Chastain on the red carpet at the Four Seasons Hotel in Beverly Hills, California yesterday evening for TheWrap 4th Annual Pre-Oscar Party.

Giving us our second look at the Roksanda Ilincic Fall 2012 collection in so many days, the actress looked beautiful wearing a vibrant jade-green ‘Pixton’ dress.

She styled the look with a perforated leather belt which gave an edge to her uptown chic dress, which features contrasting metallic-black and teal-blue woven jacquard half sleeves.

Keeping her hair wrapped up in a neat bun, she completed her look with a pink lip colour, Jimmy Choo ‘Louisa’ sandals and a black Lauren Merkin ‘Caroline’ clutch.

Mary Elizabeth Winstead In Roksanda Ilincic – Warner Bros. And InStyle Golden Globe Awards After Party

Mary Elizabeth Winstead in Roksanda IlincicAmerican actress Mary Elizabeth Winstead is known for her fright-femme roles in horror flicks. I’m afraid she channeled a scary fashion vibe at the Warner Bros. and InStyle Golden Globe Awards After Party at the Beverly Hilton Hotel in Beverly Hills, California on Sunday evening.

Her Roksanda Ilincic chiller unfortunately stood out for all the wrong reasons at the party.

From the white turtleneck collar to the sheen of the black fabric and its strange single-bar detail at the bodice, I couldn’t understand this dress.

The star’s slicked-back hair, red lip and old-fashioned stud earrings added to the confusion.

Hopefully it all looked better in person…

Mary Elizabeth Winstead In Louis Vuitton – The Hollywood Foreign Press Association And InStyle Miss Golden Globe 2013 Party

Mary Elizabeth Winstead was back on the red carpet last night, joining Lea Michele and Diane Kruger at the party for The Hollywood Foreign Press Association And InStyle Miss Golden Globe 2013, held at Cecconi’s Restaurant in California.

On this occasion she wore a Louis Vuitton Resort 2013 dress.

The bi-colour look, with a warm-brown asymmetrical one-sleeve top and A-line white skirt with buttons going down the side, has me sitting firmly on the fence.

Gold accessories including a Jimmy Choo clutch, Swarovski earrings plus, Carla Amorim and Melinda Maria rings were the right choice, but the red Max Azria shoes – although I like the colour, I don’t like the style.

Had they been simpler I think I would be praising her for stepping out of the box, but they don’t flow too well with the rest of her look.

Yay or nay on her shoe choice?
