Mary-Elizabeth Winstead In Diane von Furstenberg – 43rd Annual Saturn Awards

After a string of Lela Rose ensembles, Mary-Elizabeth Winstead went down a dark route for the 43rd Annual Saturn Awards in California on Wednesday (June 28) wearing a Diane von Furstenberg Pre-Fall 2017 jumpsuit.

I particularly love the feminine ruffle which travels from her shoulder, however, I feel like something more could’ve been done to lift the look.

The moody colour palette, against the moody backdrop doesn’t help, but perhaps I’m just one to hanker after summery hues during this season.

An Edie Parker ‘Wolf’ clutch and red lip round off the look.

Mary Elizabeth Winstead In Rebecca Minkoff & Lela Rose – SiriusXM Studios & Build Presents ‘Fargo’

Mary Elizabeth Winstead was at the SiriusXM Studios in New York City on Tuesday (June 6) before paying a visit to the Build Studio to discuss ‘Fargo’ on Thursday (June 8).

SiriusXM Studios: While she took an off-duty approach to her casual-chic ensemble at SiriusXM, it still had plenty of oomph in the slight whimsy of the Rebecca Minkoff fringed sweater and the mustard-yellow Christian Louboutin suede Mary Jane pumps. The cropped denim brought in a cool street-style sensibility.

Build Presents ‘Fargo’: Those statement Mary Janes were too good not to wear twice, getting another run with this Lela Rose mixed pattern frock that directly reflected Mary Elizabeth’s affinity for retro styling. She plays the modern-day vintage darling so well, after all.

Mary Elizabeth Winstead In Lela Rose – 2017 CFDA Fashion Awards

Mary Elizabeth Winstead was also in attendance at the 2017 CFDA Fashion Awards on Monday (June 5).

The actress dazzled in a dreamily flowing chiffon number from the Lela Rose Fall 2017 collection.

The daring attention of the citrine hue sparked with metallic tinsel embroidery was enough to make me fall in love with the look.

Add to that the sharp, black contrast of the belt and the vintage-inspired buttons down the back complemented by an Edie Parker ‘Jean’ clutch and punchy jewels including Atelier Swarovski earrings, and zesty enchantment abounds.

Mary Elizabeth Winstead In Christopher Bu – FX’s ‘Fargo’ For Your Consideration Event

Mary Elizabeth Winstead attended FX’s ‘Fargo’ For Your Consideration Event on Thursday (May 11) in North Hollywood, California.

I don’t know about you, but I was completely charmed by her Christopher Bu Fall 2016 ensemble which saw her expertly embrace a vintage sensibility with a mod mood.

From the watercolour floral painted across the blouse to the skirt’s retro-inspired, floral buttons and the surprisingly sultry side slit, the look’s success was tied up in its mastery of the details.

Magpies everywhere will love her embellished Jimmy Choo ‘Tia’ heels that echoed the crystals strewn across the skirt as well as her granny-chic, gemstone Atelier Swarovski x Jason Wu earrings earrings that added more eclectic flair to this outing.

The look was complete with a Atelier Swarovski clutch.

Mary Elizabeth Winstead In Jonathan Simkhai – 2017 MTV Movie & TV Awards

Mary Elizabeth Winstead was like a breath of fresh air on the red carpet of the 2017 MTV Movie & TV Awards, hosted on Sunday (May 7) in LA.

The actress wore a Jonathan Simkhai Spring 2017 dress, accessorised by Stuart Weitzman ‘Nudist’ sandals, an Edie Parker ‘Jean’ clutch, and a wonderfully dramatic oxblood lip.

Glitter and glitz has its place, but sometimes it cannot win out over the inherent charm of a sweetly embroidered, chambray fringe dress such as this.

I do wish it had fit slightly better about the hips, so as to avoid the creasing.

Mary Elizabeth Winstead in Diane von Furstenberg – 2017 Directors Guild Of America Awards

Mary Elizabeth Winstead was also at the 2017 Directors Guild Of America Awards on Saturday (February 4) in Beverly Hills.

We’ve seen the boudoir look in a number of forms lately, with this Diane von Furstenberg cutout slip dress bringing a more minimalist sensibility to the trend.

At first I questioned the more pared-back styling with her natural beauty look and only the light touch of a few Jennifer Meyer rings plus a clutch that matched the gown.

But it all brought a fresh innocence to the ensemble while maintaining its simple allure.
