Marion Cotillard For Interview August 2010

Marion Cotillard is the August 2010 cover star for ‘Interview’ magazine.

Her interview was conducted by her ‘Nine’ costar Nicole Kidman. They discuss Congo and Marion’s life as a jet-set actress and environmentalist.

Mikarl Jansson shot Marion who looks like a goddess wearing sultry ensembles by Christian Dior, Giles, Alberta Ferretti and Nina Ricci.

For some reason she’s in various states of undress and doesn’t wear any pants in her entire editorial, yet the mood is not sleazy.

It hits the perfect balance between being exposed and being clothed.

Here are some extracts from her interview with Nicole. You can read more at InterviewMagazine.com

On being an environmentalist and a jetset actress: “It’s a paradox to be an actress, living in the city, taking planes all the time, trying to find the right balance in this life, which is not so eco-friendly, and still try to respect the environment.” Read More…

Best Dressed Of The Week – Marion Cotillard In Christian Dior & Jada Pinkett-Smith In Stella McCartney

With a lot of stars like Sienna Miller & Jude Law enjoying summer vacations, the red carpet had been a bit quiet this week.

You guys loved Marion Cotillard’s Christian Dior Resort 2011 dress which she wore to the “Inception” Paris Premiere.

It was a great look – much improved from the London Premiere – but my pick was Jada Pinkett-Smith in Stella McCartney.

She may have been your 5th choice, but she was the only one who wowed me in a pretty lackluster week.

May of you said the look would’ve been better with sandals – which I agree with – but she still blew me away.

The Late Late Show with Craig Ferguson – Marion Cotillard In Vionnet

This week Marion Cotillard was a guest on “The Late Late Show with Craig Ferguson”.

She was there to promote her new movie “Inception”, which was released on Tuesday in the US and will be out on Friday here in the UK.

The banter between the two was hilarious. She seems really relaxed as Craig poke fun at her.

The French actress wore a beautiful black Vionnet Resort 2011 dress which has nude, fuchsia and white panels.

It’s one of her best look so far this promotional tour.

It may not have been so great on the red carpet, but it’s perfect for her TV appearance.

“Inception” LA Premiere – Marion Cotillard In L’Wren Scott

Marion Cotillard made her 3rd appearance on the red carpet for her new movie “Inception” at the LA Premiere last night.

Of all her looks I think this is my favourite.

It’s sleek, clean, unfussy, modern and frankly unexpected.

It’s not Dior, it’s not cute and it appeals more to the edgier ‘pre-Dior’ style so many of you wish she’d return to.

I love her texture of her shimmering L’Wren Scott Fall 2009 sheath dress. It’s a classic L’Wren Scott style which flatters every figure.

I love that her midnight blue dress matches Leonardo DiCaprio Giorgio Armani suit.

Dior heels, a slick bun and flawless make-up complete the look.

Which would you prefer to see in the BDOTW poll?

“Inception” Paris Premiere – Marion Cotillard In Christian Dior

Marion Cotillard managed to redeem herself at the “Inception” Premiere in Paris this weekend.

After her beachy Thakoon look at the London Premiere, she returned to Christian Dior saving her from appearing on Worst Dressed lists for two weeks in a row.

There’s a reason Marion is the face of Dior and this Christian Dior Resort 2011 strapless stone coloured tulip dress shows why, as it was Parisian chic at it’s very best and she radiates total elegance.

I love the black lace overlay and the bow detail which gives the illusion of a very tiny waist.

Whilst I was studying this look – failing to find a single flaw – the last thing I noticed were her Jimmy Choo Private sandals.

I love that they’re totally anonymous therefore allowing us to totally focus on her dress, her flawless make-up and chic updo.

As much as we will appreciate total turn around from last week, I’m sure Leonardo DiCaprio appreciates it even more.

Her beachy Thakoon dress didn’t quite complement his Italian handmade Giorgio Armani suit.
