Marion Cotillard For Vogue US July 2010

The beautiful Marion Cotillard graces the July 2010 cover of American Vogue.

The French actress wears Dior on the cover which was shot by Mario Testino, but the rest of her editorial sees her wearing a lot of Nina Ricci, Dolce & Gabbana, Louis Vuitton and Aquilano.Rimondi.

In her interview Marion talks about her Oscar winning performance in La Vien en Rose and the inspiration she found for her character in “Nine”.

Here are some extracts from her interview.

On vacationing in the Amazon after shooting ‘La Vie en Rose’: “It was there that I found myself articulating why Piaf was still living inside me. She had been abandoned as a child; her greatest fear was to be alone. Now I didn’t want to abandon her. I finally was able to say, ‘She’s been dead for 40 years; it’s OK.'” Read More…

Who Wore Lefranc Ferrant Better? Marion Cotillard or Kelly Rowland

We got a hint of Marion Cotillard’s edgier style which she was known for pre-Lady Dior on the red carpet at the Chopard 150th Anniversary Party during Cannes Film Festival last month.

She wore a sublime Lefranc Ferrant Fall 2010 metallic sequined embroidered jumpsuit with Jimmy Choo accessories including black Jimmy Choo ‘Marble’ booties, and a black Jimmy Choo Candy acrylic clutch.

Former Destiny’s Child singer Kelly Rowland wore the same jumpsuit when she was spotted leaving her hotel in London last night.

She paired her look with black open-toe booties, a cuff and a grey leather clutch.

Both ladies look good, but I feel like this look was made for Marion as she just oozes edgy chic so she wins for me.

Chopard 150th Anniversary Party – Marion Cotillard In Lefranc Ferrant

As much as I love Marion Cotillard in Dior, it was refreshing to see her supporting other French designer on the red carpet at the “Chopard 150th Anniversary Party” during Cannes Film Festival last night.

The French actress wore a gorgeous Lefranc Ferrant Fall 2010 jumpsuit.

Her metallic sequined jumpsuit was a perfect choice for Marion to show us how versatile she is on the red carpet.

I love hairstyle.

It’s so elegant, so Parisian, so chic, and so delightful on Marion. I don’t think many could pull off this hairstyle.

Her look was paired with Jimmy Choo accessories including black Jimmy Choo ‘Marble’ booties, which look like the Quinze booties without the embellishments, and a black Jimmy Choo Candy acrylic clutch.

Très chic.

Christian Dior Resort 2011

John Galliano presented his Christian Dior Resort 2011 collection in Shanghai this weekend.

I expected it to be Asian inspired, but it was Parisian chic at it’s finest.

I felt the collection had the same 60s inspired feel as the Resort 2009 collection with the big Barbarella hair, floral prints and ruffles, stripes and pastels.

It maybe too sickly sweet for some, but loved this collection.

The colour palette ranged from mint greens, to baby blues, to punchy peaches to pretty pinks.

The pastel overload and cute ruffled mini dresses will have Tinsley Mortimer going weak at the knees.

I adore the use of fabrics and colours plus the gowns are truly elegant.

Marion Cotillard was of course at the show looking divine wearing a lemon Christian Dior Pre-Fall 2010 dress which had a pink lace trim.

You may remember that Charlize Theron wore runway version of this dress a few week ago.

I just love the knotted detail at the hem.

I really wasn’t impressive by Charlize Theron in this silver mini Dior dress.

I’m still really missing that wow factor from her.

2010 Costume Institute Gala Red Carpet – Marion Cotillard In Christian Dior Couture

It’s been a while since we last saw Marion Cotillard on the red carpet, but her love for Dior hasn’t flattered.

The French actress wore a silver sequin Christian Dior Couture gown to the Costume Institute Gala tonight.

As much as I love Marion, I didn’t love this gown.

I wish it has been strapless, as I really dislike the long sleeves.

I’m also not particularly fond of her hairstyle either, as I feel like I’ve seen it many times before.
