Maria Sharapova @ Fall 2012 New York Fashion Week

Maria Sharapova is another star who was well turned out in the front row during New York Fashion Week.

On Tuesday she was seated next to Anna Wintour at Vera Wang’s Fall 2012 presentation wearing a Carven peach top, Rag & Bone tweed skirt and a coat from Jason Wu’s Resort 2012 collection.

A Tag Heuer watch and Cole Haan black shoes accessorized her look.

On the same day, she also attended the Rodarte show.

She opted to wear a very simple purple fit-and-flare dress with nude sandals.

After her disappointing shoe choice at Marc Jacobs, she is much improved here.

The purprle dress is my favourite.

Front Row @ Marc Jacobs Fall 2012

Rose Byrne: The actress was the last to arrive for the Marc Jacobs presentation which took place during New York Fashion Week. The photogs managed to snap this picture before she was rushed to her front-row seat. She wore a gingham cropped-sleeve coat from the Spring 2012 collection with Mary Janes and a yellow fringed clutch from the same collection.

Dakota Fanning: It wasn’t a surprise to see the actress front row at the Marc Jacobs show earlier this week. She wore a shimmering Marc Jacobs Spring 2012 eyelet dress with a beaded tiered chiffon-accented hemline. A blue Marc Jacobs clutch with clear fringed details and Mary Janes completed her look.

Maria Sharapova: The tennis champ was the surprising attendee of the Marc Jacobs presentation. She wore an ice-blue tulle Marc Jacobs dress with velvet strips. The clutch and the shoes are so out of whack with the dress.

Who Wore Alexander McQueen Better? Maria Sharapova or Louise Redknapp

Maria Sharapova sizzled on the red carpet when she chose this cherry red Alexander McQueen dress to attend the WTA Tour Pre-Wimbledon Party back in June.

The tennis star looked incredible in the slit-shoulder ‘Fin’ mini dress, which she paired with a number of accessories which included a McQueen clutch with intricate gold hardware and Burberry Prorsum leather ankle booties.

Her jewelry included Lara Bohinc ‘Tatjana’ choker and matching cuff, gold earrings with black stones and an oversized cocktail ring with a red stone.

She finished her look by wearing her hair pulled back into a casual up-do and accentuating her eyes.

Louise Redknapp wore the same dress to attend David Walliams’ 40th birthday party at Scott’s restaurant in London this last month.

The TV presenter opted for simple accessories including a plain leather black clutch and two-tone nude and black heels.

She added a pretty pair of gold and red earrings to her look and kept her makeup light.

Maria’s getting my vote on this one. I love her edgier styling as opposed to the more classic take Louise went for.

Although I agree with some of your earlier comments that Maria had on one too many accessories, there’s no denying how amazing they look.

Maria Sharapova In Alexander McQueen – 2011 ESPY Awards

Brand Loyalty Award
Maria Sharapova continues favour Alexander McQueen on the red carpet.

She arrived at the 2011 ESPY Awards last night wearing a modified dress from the McQueen Pre-Fall 2011 collection.

The navy halter dress with feathered accents and gold embroidery details was teamed with an Alexander McQueen clutch and the most stunning pair of McQueen heels.

Whilst Maria isn’t selling this dress à la Blake Lively or Anna Paquin, those shoes more than make up for it.

Maria Sharapova In Alexander McQueen – WTA Tour Pre-Wimbledon Party

Russian tennis ace Maria Sharapova was flying the flag for British fashion at the WTA Tour Pre-Wimbledon Party, which was held at The Roof Gardens in London last night.

That’s because she opted to wear head-to-toe Alexander McQueen & Burberry Prorsum.

Her cherry red Alexander McQueen slit shoulder fin mini dress was paired with a black satin McQueen gold hardware clutch and black Burberry Prorsum booties.

Maria completed her look with Lara Bohinc jewels which included a Tatijana Choker.

I love the addition of the choker to the dress.

I wouldn’t have added the booties, but she looks good in them.

The only thing I would remove is the cuff as it feels like one item to many for this look.

Despite not being a fan of mixing metals, Maria gets a pass on this occasion as the silver ring is her engagement ring.

The Wimbledon championship (celebrating its 125th anniversary) kicks off on Monday June 20th, so you know what that means?

2 weeks of non-stop rain.
