Red Carpet Fashion Awards

'Third Person' LA Premiere

A trio of actresses took to the red carpet to support the Los Angeles premiere of their film, ‘Third Person,’ which was held on Monday (June 9) at the Linwood Dunn Theater Pickford Center for Motion Study in Hollywood, California.

Mila Kunis: Masking her burgeoning baby bump in a loose, flowing silhouette, Mila wore a simple black satin mini-frock with leg-lengthening nude pumps and an emerald strand necklace for a tiny hint of colour.

Maria Bello: The actress wore a Kaufmanfranco sand-hued, plunge dress with a draped full skirt, paired with Vhernier jewels and metallic-taupe wedge sandals.

Moran Atias: The most memorable of the three, Moran dressed up more than her co-stars in a Vionnet Grecian-style draped gown in a light lemon chiffon shade that was beautiful with her dark locks. She likewise complemented her look with a selection of Vhernier jewels, also donning Jimmy Choo heels that went undetected under the floor-scraping dress.

Maria Bello In Nicholas Oakwell Couture - Canadian Screen Awards

Maria Bello arrived at the Canadian Screen Awards at Sony Centre for the Performing Arts on Sunday (March 9) in Toronto, Canada.

The actress wore yet another Nicholas Oakwell Couture dress, this time from the Spring 2013 collection.

I love the relaxed silhouette of her white kaftan gown featuring shimmering striped embellishment, which she accented with a silver waistband.

Her delightful frock thankfully wasn’t over-accessorized, with just stud earrings styling the look and a simple bun providing the finishing touch.

Maria Bello In Nicholas Oakwell Couture - 7th Annual Hollywood Domino and Bovet 1822 Gala

Maria Bello joined Vanessa Hudgens on the red carpet for the 7th Annual Hollywood Domino and Bovet 1822 Gala at Sunset Tower Hotel in West Hollywood yesterday evening (February 27).

The actress wore a Nicholas Oakwell Fall 2013 Couture black slinky shimmering cocktail dress with a fringed back styled with Gina black pumps and an Amanda Pearl clutch.

It’s a shame some of the details are lost against the black background, but from what I can make out this is a sexy, fun, spirited look.

Maria Bello In Naeem Khan - 'Prisoners' LA Premiere

Maria Bello attended the Los Angeles premiere of ‘Prisoners’ held at the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences in Beverly Hills, California yesterday evening.

The actress wore a Resort 2014 dress by one of my favourite designers, Naeem Khan.

Her black satin cocktail dress with a seashell-beaded tulle bodice and satin full skirt was styled with Martin Katz jewels and black Reed Krakoff pumps with a mesh detail.

A wavy bob gave her sophisticated look a youthful flourish.

Maria Bello In Donna Karan - 'Third Person' Toronto Film Festival Premiere

Maria Bello again hit the Toronto International Film Festival for the ‘Third Person’ premiere yesterday at the Winter Garden Theatre in Canada.

After making an earlier cozy-glam entrance at the ‘Prisoners’ premiere, the actress suited up in a structured Donna Karan Pre-Fall 2013 dove-grey ensemble.

The tailored separates were set off by a wide obi-like belt at the waist. However, I would have cut the pencil skirt to just below the knee, as seen in the lookbook.

Gio Dev beige lizard and black patent high-rise pumps with ankle cuff detail would have also benefited from the bit of breathing room that a shorter skirt would have allowed.

Maria Bello In Salvatore Ferragamo - 'Prisoners' Toronto Film Festival Premiere

Maria Bello attended the ‘Prisoners’ Toronto Film Festival premiere yesterday evening held at The Elgin in Toronto, Canada.

The actress wore a Salvatore Ferragamo Fall 2013 navy knit long sleeve turtle neck and a navy satin skirt styled with navy ankle strap pumps and a diamond encrusted cuff worn over her top.

Her part cosy, part sexy look has made me realize that when it comes to TIFF, there doesn’t appear to be a defined dress code like Venice or Cannes for example.

A few years ago it was considered quite a laidback event, but I find myself enjoying the variety of looks ranging from Nicole Kidman’s chic suit to Sarah Paulson’s Couture gown; as it takes the predictability out of the event.
