Dior & Sasha Pivovarova Celebrate The Launch Of The Spring-Summer 2018 Collection

Dior and Sasha Pivovarova celebrated the launch of the label’s Spring-Summer 2018 collection at Milk Garage in New York City on Tuesday (February 6). Naturally, a host of Dior dazzlers were all in attendance, each donning a look from the Spring 2018 collection.

Sasha Pivovarova: As the host, the Russian model was suitably shining brightly in a Dior silver mirror tulle-embroidered short jumpsuit overlaid by a matching mirrored evening skirt. Together with her platinum locks, I love the edgy-modern ice-princess connotations of the look that was completed by Dior ‘Naughtily D’ boots and a Dior ‘Addict’ bag. Even the ubiquitous ‘CD’ straps seemed fresh with their tonal coloration.

Margaret Qualley: Rocking a different breed of whimsy, Margaret donned a Dior yellow allover sequin dress with ‘Positive’ embroidery. Diorboots and a Dior ‘Addict’ bag finished out the youthful, feisty outing that reflected the socially conscious statements that designer Maria Grazia Chiuri has celebrated.

Olivia Culpo: With a boho, prairie girl aesthetic—with a side of mod makeup—Olivia donned a sheer Dior black silk long dress with lace inserts styled with a Dior hat, Dior necklaces, Dior earrings, Dior shoes and a sparkling ‘Le Coeur de Dior’ heart bag. I’m sure some may be fussed about the logo briefs underneath.

Margaret Qualley In Saloni & Miu Miu – Build Series & ‘Novitiate’ New York Screening

Margaret Qualley joined ‘Novitiate’ co-star Dianna Agron for the Build Series discussion and New York screening on Thursday (October 26).

Build Series: Starting the day sunny shine up, the actress wore a Saloni Fall 2017 dress which is steeped in the designer’s signature sense of bohemian style.

I love the intricate smocking on the shoulders and the punchy contrast of the floral embroidery.

Toronto Film Festival Red Carpet Roundup

The 2017 Toronto Film Festival red carpet has been red-haute with looks throughout the weekend, and here is a roundup of the rest of the stars that were seen on Sunday (September 10).

Margaret Qualley: The young starlet was at the ‘Novitate’ premiere dressed in a Valentino Fall 2017 gown. This ornate look translated a bit heavily for me, but it’s intriguing to watch Margaret continue to boldly experiment with her style.

Evan Rachel Wood: I absolutely loved this Stella McCartney Resort 2018 pinstripe ensemble on the actress at the ‘A Worthy Companion’ premiere. Riffing on menswear, the look perfectly played into her edgy style sensibility while providing a different take on the suiting trend with its play on proportions. Her makeup seemed a bit overzealous, but that would be my main qualm. Giuseppe Zanotti shoes completed her look.

Elisabeth Moss: After a few recent looks that successfully pushed the boundaries of Elisabeth’s go-to style, she was back in her comfort zone at ‘The Square’ premiere with this Rochas retro-inspired jumper and skirt accessorised with Chloe Gosselin embellished pumps.

Margaret Qualley In Kenzo – Kenzo’s Summer Party

Margaret Qualley has already proven that she isn’t playing it safe when it comes to fashion, and her experimental mood continued at the Kenzo Summer Party in Madrid, Spain on Wednesday (September 6).

With style risks, you win some and you lose some, and this look definitely landed more in the loss column for me.

This Kenzo Resort 2018 yellow frock just translated as ill-fitting and, daresay, frumpy on the young starlet.

I do appreciate her willingness to embrace the directional Kenzo footwear, but that will not increase my affection for it at all.

The dress has not only proved difficult for Margaret, but also for Millie Bobby Brown who wore it completely differently at the Teen Choice Awards.

Margaret Qualley In Prada – ‘Death Note’ Toyko Premiere

Margaret Qualley took to the red carpet in Tokyo, Japan on Thursday (August 24) for the ‘Death Note’ Netflix premiere.

What I’m loving about Margaret’s style is that she doesn’t appear to be playing it safe.

Seemingly quiet and modest, the actress isn’t afraid make bold choices.

Her Dior dress was one risk that paid off, but I feel this Prada dress will split opinions.

Infused 19th century romantic and miltary-inspired glamour, without the jewelled details we’d be moaning how we’d seen this style of dress a hundred times.

I think she pulled this look off with great aplomb.

What say you?
