Kristen Wiig In Michael Kors – 2013 Golden Globe Awards

Kristen Wiig kept it simple on the red carpet at the 2013 Golden Globe Awards, held at the Beverly Hilton Hotel in LA on Sunday evening.

The hilarious actress wore a simple black Michael Kors Spring 2013 gown, with a plunging neckline plus a large cut-out to provide a flash of her well-toned abs.

A Roger Vivier ‘Boite de Nuit’ gold clutch with black satin detailing, Christian Louboutin heels and wavy tresses completed her look.

It’s a huge relief to see Kristen don something other than her preferred nude hue.

Naomi Watts In Zac Posen – 2013 Golden Globe Awards

My other ‘lady of the moment’, Naomi Watts, opted for a deep, dark hue on a cold night in California for the 2013 Golden Globe Awards.

While some actresses were visibly shaking on the red carpet, Naomi looked stunning wearing an oxblood Zac Posen gown with a keyhole detail, open back and dramatic train.

In typical Posen style, the gown was fitted to perfection, hugging Naomi in all the right places.

She styled the look with Casadei heels, a gold Ferragamo clutch and complementary ruby earrings.

A retro faux bob completed her breath-taking look.

Julianne Moore In Tom Ford – 2013 Golden Globe Awards

Julianne Moore turned to her designer BFF, Tom Ford, for her red carpet look for the 2013 Golden Globe Awards, held at the Beverly Hilton Hotel in LA on Sunday night.

Her black-and-white minimalist gown with a streamlined silhouette revealed a sexy open back.

Bvlgari jewels, including exquisite chandelier earrings, a black embossed clutch and a sweeping updo completed her look.

Many of you are no doubt thankful she didn’t wear Lanvin or those Tom Ford bondage cut-out boots.

Rachel Weisz In Louis Vuitton – 2013 Golden Globe Awards

Best Actress nominee Rachel Weisz was escorted at the 2013 Golden Globe Awards by her handsome James Bond husband, Daniel Craig. But ‘The Deep Blue Sea’ star made quite the impression herself.

She donned another example that played to the sheer and solid trend with her interesting Louis Vuitton number.

The polka dot mesh, which reminded me of the designer’s earlier collaboration with dot artist Yayoi Kusama, emerged under a short, strapless LBD.

While the look tried to be playful, it didn’t feel fresh or exciting. The sheer netting of the leg-baring skirt pooled on the ground and looked even messy in some moments.

Jimmy Choo’s ‘Raven’ sandals and a Jimmy Choo ‘Candy’ clutch, both in black, completed the ensemble.

Rachel’s voluminous waves and sophisticated makeup were nice.

Rather unusually, she went earring-less for the evening, choosing instead a Bulgari statement cuff.

Kerry Washington In Miu Miu – 2013 Golden Globe Awards

Still glowing from her magnificent promo tour for ‘Django Unchained’, Kerry Washington took to the red carpet at the Beverly Hilton Hotel for the 2013 Golden Globe Awards last night.

Decked out in a rhinestone-embellished semi-sheer nude Miu Miu dress, she proved that she’s very much on a roll.

Opting not to go the frothy princess route, her modern look with a sleek silhouette was styled with nude Prada pointy pumps, a satin Prada clutch and a diamond Fred Leighton bracelet.

Flawless makeup and a shoulder-length lightly highlighted ‘do completed her look.
