Mandy Moore In Jenny Packham – 19th Costume Designers Guild Awards

Mandy Moore didn’t get the black memo for the 19th CDGA (Costume Designers Guild Awards) on Tuesday (February 21) in Beverly Hills, California, which was observed by Jane Fonda and Jess Weixler.

The actress wore a Jenny Packham Spring 2017 gown which was stunning on the runway, but lost all its allure on the red carpet.

Why?

Well, it’s a case of the dreaded lining again.

While I commend Mandy for not hopping on the “sheer dress – look at my panties” trend, the look would’ve been served better had the lining run the length of the gown.

Mandy Moore In Solace London – 2017 NAACP Image Awards

Mandy Moore attended the 2017 NAACP Image Awards on Saturday (February 11) in Pasadena, California.

Her turn towards sleek sophistication continued with this Solace London gown that was simple in form but statuesque in silhouette and striking in colour.

I really couldn’t have been happier to see this bright, tangerine hue on the red carpet.

Letting the dress take top billing, she finished the look effortlessly with a silver Edie Parker clutch and straight, side-parted locks.

Mandy Moore In Salvatore Ferragamo – 2017 Directors Guild Of America Awards

The minute Mandy Moore stepped on the red carpet of the 2017 Directors Guild Of America Awards on Saturday (February 4) in Beverly Hills, she made a striking impression.

The chic streak that she has served up so far this year shows no sign of waning.

Again swapping her more signature girly frocks for an edgier offering, the ‘This Is Us’ actress donned a Salvatore Ferragamo suit that balanced masculine tailoring and feminine sex appeal with the peek-a-boo bra.

The cropped pants gave ample room for her Nicholas Kirkwood ‘Jewel Eden Hexagon’ pumps to shine, tying the look together with a Lee Savage metallic clutch.

A sleek bun and dark cranberry lip added another layer of compelling intrigue.

Mandy Moore In Alex Perry – 2017 Annual Artois Awards

Mandy Moore was also at the 2017 Annual Artois Awards in Beverly Hills, California on Thursday (January 19), joining Lily Collins and Yara Shahidi.

The ‘This Is Us” actress flaunted her figure wearing an Alex Perry Pre-Fall 2017 ‘Phoenix’ figure-hugging dress.

Inspired by the lookbook styling, she wore a lighter pink Sophia Webster ‘Coco Crystal’ embellished pump to round this contemporary look which see’s her once again move away from the girlie frocks we’d loved her for, to something with a bit of an edge.

Mandy Moore In Lela Rose, Naeem Khan, Marc Jacobs & RED Valentino – 2017 AFI Awards, W Magazine’s It Girls Party, 2017 Golden Globe Awards, 2017 ELLE’s Annual Women In Television Celebration & NBCUniversal Winter Press Tour

Mandy Moore has served up a many amazing – and typically girlie – looks so far this year.

2017 AFI Awards: Mandy’s first look was fresh and feminine with a feel-good factor. Gingham has always been synonymous with spring, so I love how Lela Rose reworked and enlivened this classic tea-length dress with a cut-out and colour-blocking effect to add some modernity.

Mandy Moore In Tanya Taylor – ‘A Denim Story’ By Emily Current, Meritt Elliott and Hilary Walsh

Mandy Moore In Tanya Taylor - 'A Denim Story' By Emily Current, Meritt Elliott and Hilary Walsh

Mandy Moore attended the Anthropologie event celebrating ‘A Denim Story’ by Emily Current, Meritt Elliott and Hilary Walsh at the PaliHotel on Tuesday (March 11) in Los Angeles, California.

Supporting her stylists, she wore a casual yet cool look featuring a Tanya Taylor Spring 2014 ‘Bora’ boxy floral mesh tee and a blush ‘Marta’ leather pencil skirt with an exposed zipper accent from the Fall 2013 collection with a Current/Elliott denim jacket draped over her shoulders.

The look was styled with Jennifer Meyer jewels, a white Nancy Gonzalez clutch and navy Jimmy Choo pumps.

As you know, I like a little more flavour in the shoe department, but I do find myself loving this laidback look.

Women In Film Pre-Oscar Cocktail Party Red Carpet Roundup

Women In Film Pre-Oscar Cocktail Party Red Carpet Roundup

With the A-list in town, the Women in Film pre-Oscar cocktail party was one of the most star-studded events on yesterday’s schedule (February 28). Here’s a little round-up of who joined Lupita Nyong’o and Jaime King on the red carpet:

Helen Mirren: Forever flawless Helen Mirren played host for the evening wearing a Max Mara ivory mini v-neck top and skirt. While the thick tights look a little too wintery, Helen looked suitably chic and demure.

Mandy Moore: Opting for a timelessly elegant monochrome look, Mandy Moore dazzled in a Max Mara cream shawl collar jacket and structured black jumpsuit. A beaded monochrome clutch may have been matchy-matchy choice but here it works. While I think the hems of the jumpsuit could have done with being an inch shorter, this look is classic Mandy; stylish, approachable and understatedly lust worthy.

Lake Bell: Making a head-turning appearance in top-to-toe silver, Lake Bell made a surprising choice last night in an unstructured Max Mara silver three-quarter sleeve dress. I’m used to seeing Lake in such tailored, figure-hugging, sexy pieces that this came as quite as a surprise. High-shine metallic sandals and matching clutch made for a unique red carpet turn that certainly offers something different to the mix. What do you think of this look for Lake?

Hollywood Reporter’s 22nd Annual Women In Entertainment Breakfast

Hollywood Reporter's 22nd annual Women In Entertainment Breakfast 3A list of lovelies gathered for The Hollywood Reporter’s 22nd annual Women In Entertainment Breakfast, honouring Oprah Winfrey, which was held at the Beverly Hills Hotel in California this morning.

Naya Rivera: The ‘Glee’ star was the epitome of sophistication in a black Michael Kors bodysuit and grey peplum tweed skirt that was punctuated with a long peplum; the sexiness came into play with the backless detail of her top. Marina B jewels and Casadei ankle-strap heels added some edge to her ensemble, whilst those long bombshell waves packed in plenty of va-va-voom style.

Ahna O’Reilly: Working a dizzying Osman Pre-Fall 2013 dress in a black-and-silver optical illusion print, the actress paired her look with black Bionda Castana ‘Consuelo’ ankle-tie heels, W. Britt stud earrings and a bright pink lip.

Nikki Reed: Taming the luscious lemon hue of her Charles Henry gown, Nikki threw on a black Loft blazer. What bothered me here were her black Greymer ankle boots that were far too heavy at the end of this soft, languid frock. Her look was complete with a Jimmy Choo ‘Chilli’ clutch.
