Mandy Moore promotes ‘This Is Us’ @ 2018 SXSW Conference and Festivals

Mandy Moore has been making the rounds at the SXSW Conference and Festivals in support of the hit TV show, ‘This Is Us,’ in Austin, TX on Monday (March 12).

‘This is Us’ SXSW Festival Premiere: Had you seen this look from the waist up, you may have thought it a romantic red gown. But, I was a fan of the juxtaposition of dressy femininity and dressed-down streetwear in this ensemble that paired an off-the-shoulder Brock Collection top with cropped jeans. Sara Weinstock jewels along with the sass of her wavy locks, red lip and vampy Chloe Gosselin shoes brought it all together.

Featured Session: The cast of ‘This Is Us’: I was just as much a fan of this charming, floral halter Erdem dress that brought femininity full circle in such a modern way. We would have never expected teal Aldo pumps here, but I like that she made the footwear her statement accessory keeping her jewels and beauty look at a minimum.

Mandy Moore In 3.1 Phillip Lim – Create & Cultivate 100

Mandy Moore is the one celebrity you can always rely upon to put a smile on your face when it comes to her red carpet style, and that was definitely the case for the Create & Cultivate 100 event on Thursday (January 25) in Culver City, California.

The whimsical joy of sequins feels sophisticated in the hands of Phillip Lim, as illustrated by this top finished with rainbow-stripes.

From the relaxed silhouette, to the bright hues, this Spring 2018 look feels like it was a lot of fun to style and wear.

Tamara Mellon ‘Frontline’ red velvet sandals and a burgundy clutch rounded out Mandy’s spirited look.

Get The Look: Mandy Moore’s SAG Awards 1970’s Inspired Voluminous Curls

A departure from her usual ultra-chic and elegant style, Mandy Moore opted for more playful and super glamorous ‘70’s-inspired look for this year’s SAG Awards. From her custom cobalt Ralph Lauren dress to her warm, subtly smoky makeup, Mandy’s full look was certainly inspired by the beauties of the disco era. Above all, it was her airy, texturized curled hairstyle that brought this modern ‘70’s-like style to life.

Created by the super talented Celebrity Hairstylist Ashley Streicher, Mandy’s side parted waves were all about volume and rich texture which beautifully complemented her dazzling sequin dress. Using a vintage approach with a masterful blend of texturizers, the result was a cool hair style that borrowed from the classic hair looks of the popular dance era. Here’s how Ashley created this fun look without looking dated:

PREP: Start with freshly clean hair and let air dry. To create a foundation of that great texture seen in Mandy’s hair, Ashley re-dampened the hair by layering a blend of both Christophe Robin Instant Volumizing Mist with Rosewater and Reverie Surf Spray. The volumizing properties in both products mixed with the salty agents in the Reverie spray enhanced Mandy’s natural hair while adding shine and a tousled texture.

STYLE: Once prepped, Ashley sectioned the hair for heat styling. Beginning with the top front section, she used the Dyson Supersonic Hair Dryer and evenly blew out each segment with a Harry Josh Pro Tools Round Brush. While still warm, Ashley prepped each section with Garnier Full Control Hairspray before wrapping each section around 1 ¼ inch Velcro rollers. After the complete set of rollers were put in, Ashley sprayed the hair in a layer of Garnier Flexible Hold Hairspray and let them cool for 20 minutes.

Thereafter, each roller was neatly undone, and the hair was flipped over to shake out the freshly rolled curls. She then when back to each section and brushed each with a flat boar bristle brush, gently back-combing as she brushed. Not only did this add an extra layer of thickness and hold to each curl but soften the texture as well. Before moving on to the next section, she sprayed in some Garnier Flexible Hold Hairspray.

FINISH: Once done, Ashley parted Mandy’s hair on the side and neatly brushed the side, gathering it behind the ear and securing it in place with a thin bobby pin. For a ‘70’s textured look, she back brushed the pinned hair without completely disrupting the shape of the curls. Finally, Ashley sprayed the completed look with Rene Furterer Texture Vegetal Spray for a touchable hold that lasted through the festive evening without losing its shape or volume.

Mandy Moore In Ralph Lauren Collection – 2018 SAG Awards

Mandy Moore attended the 2018 SAG Awards in Los Angeles on Sunday (January 21).

The actress wore a striking cobalt blue Ralph Lauren Collection gown with Jimmy Choo ‘Kaylee’ sandals and a black and blue box clutch.

This look is so simple but elegant, and I think it really signifies Mandy’s place as a respected television actress. The look is mature and confident and also stylish and striking–everything a respected actress’s look should possess.

And can we talk about this makeup? The matte nude lip is utter perfection, and the pop of blue eyeshadow in the inner corner of her eyes remind us that this lady may be a sophisticated professional, but she still knows a thing or two about having fun.

Mandy Moore In Vika Gazinskaya – 2018 NAACP Image Awards

Mandy Moore looked lovely in powder blue at the 2018 NAACP Image Awards on Monday (January 15) in Pasadena, California, where she joined Storm Reid and Halle Berry.

The ‘This Is Us’ actress can pull off head-to-toe colours terrifically, but it was refreshing to see her take a softer approach with a pastel Vika Gazinskaya Spring 2018 gown styled with Graziela Gems and Malone Souliers shoes.

Her red clutch injected some warmth into the prim style without taking away from the dreamy quality of the stripe fabric with bias-cut skirt.

The fitted waist and gathered shoulders enhanced the sweet charm of the dress without it becoming sickly sweet.

What do you think?
