Sarah Michelle Gellar In Sachin + Babi - 2014 People’s Choice Awards

Sarah Michelle Gellar glowed on the red carpet of the 40th annual People’s Choice Awards at the Nokia Theatre in Los Angeles on Wednesday.

The beloved television actress and star of the new show ‘The Crazy Ones’ wore a black and white Sachin + Babi Spring 2014 dress with a pleated skirt and draped bodice.

Sarah looked beautiful showcasing spring’s black and white trend (as did Beth Behrs) and made an excellent choice adding the gold halter strap rather than the white seen on the runway.

Smokey eyes and baby pink lips completed her lovely look.

My only complaint here is the shoe choice. The ankle-strap sandals seen on the runway add so much more fun to the classy look than the basic black pumps Sarah wore.

Nina Dobrev In Jenny Packham - 2014 People's Choice Awards

Nina Dobrev attended the 2014 People’s Choice Awards on Wednesday night (January 8), held at the Nokia Theatre L.A. Live in California.

Our fave ‘The Vampire Diaries’ girl, and a nominee for the evening’s Favourite Sci-Fi/Fantasy TV Actress, dazzled in a Jenny Packham Fall 2013 long-sleeve design with a Rauwolf clutch

In the case of this decadent dress, all that glitters was, well, silver. The right side of this black, body-con confection was encased in a shimmering sea of glittery embellishment.

A pair of silver, ankle-strap platform sandals only added to the shine factor, while she edged up all that glitz with a back-braided interpretation of a faux-hawk.

Do you like Nina’s mix of high-octane luxe and cool-girl glam?

Allison Willams In David Koma - 2014 People’s Choice Awards

Allison Williams made a splash on the red carpet of the 40th annual People’s Choice Awards on Wednesday night at the Nokia Theatre in Los Angeles.

The ‘Girls’ star and fashion lover wore a David Koma Spring 2014 dress with EF Collection earrings and Christian Louboutin ‘Air Chance’ tri-colour slingbacks.

The royal blue shade and futuristic details on the dress really popped on the red carpet, and the shorter length was quite appropriate for the more laid back awards ceremony.

She stuck with the trends by pulling her hair into a low ponytail, and kept the look casual keeping a section loose in the front.

Dark-lined eyes and glossy pink lips completed her look.

I think this is a big win for Allison, and I’m guessing all of you do, as well!

Jessica Alba In Jason Wu - 2014 People's Choice Awards

Jessica Alba was nothing if not white-haute, as she made her way down the red carpet at the 40th annual People’s Choice Awards on Wednesday night (January 8) at the Nokia Theatre L.A. Live in Los Angeles, California.

The actress smoldered in a Jason Wu Spring 2014 design that was anything but plain-white or ordinary.

The true drama was in the details here, as the strapless, front-zipper dress visibly traced the subtle, yet sexy lines of its corset structure and boning. It also laced up the sides for added sultry appeal.

Proving, once again, that white pumps aren’t disappearing anytime soon, her Casadei ‘Blade’ heels were actually just the right fit for this frock.

Adding even more spark to the look, Jessica carried a shiny metallic Rodo clutch and piled on the gold rings—nearly one for every finger—by Eva Fehren, Jennifer Meyer and Dionea Orcini, which only highlighted her lacquered, dark-green manicure. She also wore Jennifer Meyer earrings and an Eva Fehren bracelet.

Of course, her bronzed glow was also a major accessory—that and her super-sleek locks and a frosty pink lip that contributed a fun pop of colour.

Heidi Klum In Giorgio Armani - 2014 People's Choice Awards

Heidi Klum made quite an entrance as she walked the red carpet of the 40th annual People’s Choice Awards in Los Angeles tonight.

The supermodel and ‘Project Runway’ host stuck with her red carpet M.O. and chose a gown from the Giorgio Armani Fall 2013 collection with a plunging neckline to show off her renowned assets.

The crystal accents and shoulder detailing add visual appeal to the gown while her bejeweled Lorraine Schwartz earrings and Christian Louboutin ‘Artifice’ pumps add even more ‘wow’ factor.

Heidi’s hair is sleeked back into a hybrid braid/twist, and she kept her lipstick simple, but went for the drama with her eyes.

Dare I say it, but there is just a little bit too much going on here. Yet while my eye scarcely knows where to look, Heidi is always stunning, even with some questionable fashion choices.

What do you think? Can Heidi do no wrong, or would you like to see her simplify on the red carpet?

Kat Dennings In David Meister - 2014 People's Choice Awards

Kat Dennings arrived at the 40th annual People’s Choice Awards in rather dramatic fashion—as she should. After all, she’s co-hosting the show tonight (January 8), alongside Beth Behrs at Nokia Theatre L.A. Live in Los Angeles, California.

Before embarking on what surely will be a slew of costume changes, the ‘Two Broke Girls’ star kicked off the evening in a black David Meister strapless ball gown, moodily sprinkled with the stencil of large red roses.

In keeping with the romantic, theatrical theme of the dress, she wore a dark berry lip stain and styled her dark brunette locks into loose curls, which were topped with a glittering headband.

She skipped the necklace, yet showed off a pile of statement bracelets and a ring.

The one accessory for which she probably had not planned were the gauze bandages that decorated her right hand—she suffered a bit of an accident with a knife over the weekend—although she strategically kept that hand rather hidden in the folds of her skirt.

Do you like her first look of the show?
