Maisie Williams In Coach – The Fashion Awards 2017

Maisie Williams joined a host of stars for The Fashion Awards on Monday (December 4) in London.

I’m usually a fan of the actress’ playful style, but I felt that this Coach Spring 2018 dress didn’t translate so well off the runway.

It had all the quirky sensibilities to be considered a Maisie Williams dress, so I understand why she selected it.

It’s just a shame it didn’t quite work out.

Maisie Williams In Kenzo – 2017 Q Awards

We may be in the middle of fall’s brisk pace, but Maisie Williams brought a rush of spring to the 2017 Q Awards in London last Wednesday (October 18).

Her Kenzo Spring 2018 two-piece ensemble provided a playful interpretation of red carpet dressing.

Although, she did slightly formalize the frilled top and trousers—as much as the striped pieces could be—with her metallic sandals and jewels, also skipping the belt.

Maisie Williams In Emporio Armani – ‘Mary Shelley’ Toronto Film Festival Premiere

Maisie Williams, along with Elle Fanning, attended the ‘Mary Shelley’ Toronto Film Festival premiere on Saturday (September 9).

Known for her playful and experimental outfits, Maisie combined the top and shorts from two separate looks from the Emporio Armani Spring 2017 runway to create elegant red coordinates.

She further enhanced the all-red ensemble with Anissa Kermiche earrings, red pointed-toe shoes with a ribbon around the ankle and a swipe of red lipstick.

While some might find the look a touch too match-y, I appreciate the harmonious color palette—even with the coordinating red carpet factored in. Her black manicure, the shorter proportions and the cutouts in the top, provide relief from the striking hue.

Miu Miu Fall 2017 Front Row

The Miu Miu Fall 2017 show at Paris Fashion Week was presented on Tuesday (March 7), and it wasn’t without a group of PYTs all showing their support of designer Miuccia Prada with their girly Miu Miu looks.

Zoey Deutch: The quirk and charm of the label was well presented in this citron fur-cuffed coat accessorised with an equally furry sky-blue handbag and embellished heels. It had lighthearted sass and sophistication all wrapped into one.

Aja Naomi King: With a more classically ladylike approach, Aja wore a twist on tweed in her patterned overcoat paired with a simple blouse and skirt in shades of pink.

Jenna Coleman: I love the enlivening blue hue of this coat, which is like a breath of fresh air, with a touch of retro femininity in the floral-accented frock. The platform shoes were, of course, the mandatory bit of funky fun for the look.

Maisie Williams In Charlie Brear – 2017 SAG Awards

Maisie Williams’ was one of the many ‘Games of Thrones’ actresses to take the red carpet at the 2017 SAG Awards in LA on Sunday (January 29).

This look might divide opinion.

Not because of her gorgeous Charlie Brear gown, which was cut on the bias for a flattering drape; it’s the lip.

Personally, I love the deep berry lip. She was already working a rose-hued eye makeup, so the bold lip with her pale skin and dark hair added some drama.

The look was very classic, so why not have fun with the makeup?

Comic-Con 2015 Red Carpet Roundup

Comic con roundup
The star-studded Comic-Con 2015 weekend brought out a host of other bold names for the range of parties and panel discussions in San Diego, California.

Natalie Dormer: Attending the Screen Gems panel, the ‘Game of Thrones’ actress wore a Mary Katrantzou lamur guipure lace and jacquard midi dress with blue-green embroidered accents. I like how her ponytail adds a fresh, breezy note to this darker look, but I have no words for the shoes that should have been a simple black or blue sandal if nothing else. You may remember that Shailene Woodley wore the same dress a few months ago.

Sarah Paulson: Fusing femininity with structure, this Suno cutout flared black dress was a successful look for Sarah at the Entertainment Weekly Comic-Con 2015 party. I was equally delighted to see her step outside the plain-black box with accessories including a silver Edie Parker clutch and silver Aldo shoes.

Kate Mara: Also joining the dark colour parade, Kate wore an embellished Valentino Fall 2015 design at the 20th Century Fox panel discussion. She let the mini dress shine all on its own with only minimal styling including a simple pair of black sandals and a few beaded bracelets, which I would argue were unnecessary too.
