Maggie Gyllenhaal In Alberta Ferretti – ‘The Deuce’ New York Premiere

Maggie Gyllenhaal was serving up loungewear luxe at ‘The Deuce’ premiere, held during the 2017 IFC Split Screens Festival on Friday (June 2) in New York City.

Often gravitating towards bold prints and boho sensibilities, the actress maintained her affinity towards florals in this Alberta Ferretti silk jacket and trousers.

With a distinct nod to pyjama dressing, she ensured that she didn’t look as if she had just rolled out of bed by styling the laidback silhouette with sassy, geometric patterned heels and a vibrant red lip.

Both relaxed and refined, the look presented a well-tuned balance.

Maggie Gyllenhaal In Jason Wu – Domino’s Summer Pop Up Launch Party

Maggie Gyllenhaal has never been afraid of bold prints, as demonstrated when she took to the red carpet for the Domino Summer pop up launch party on Thursday (June 1) in New York City.

Interesting decorated with floral and butterfly prints plus subtly interspersed with line drawings of nudes, this Jason Wu Fall 2017 dress makes quite an eclectic statement.

Taking inspiration from the runway by wearing a black choker, the look was grounded with nude pumps.

Maggie Gyllenhaal & Sofia Boutella In Marni – 2017 Met Gala

Maggie Gyllenhaal and Sofia Boutella were both in attendance at the 2017 Met Gala on Monday (May 1) in New York City.

Twinning in their own unique way, they each showed off different sides of hyper-embellished Marni creations.

Maggie Gyllenhaal: If I were to pick a favourite, it would be Maggie’s paneled jumpsuit for its delicious vibrancy of candy colours and its bright blue, chain-link-style back, not to mention her bold cherry-red lip.

Sofia Boutella: In comparison, Sofia’s version of oversized, copper-flecked chainmail fell ironically flat yet also overdone, with a few too many necklaces and bangles for its own good.

Maggie Gyllenhaal In Monse – International Women’s Day Celebration

Maggie Gyllenhaal appeared to pay homage to her ‘Secretary’ role while attending the ‘Be Bold for Change, One Step at a Time’ event to celebrate International Women’s Day on Thursday (March 8) in New York City.

I love how the asymmetrical hemline and angular stripes accentuate the modern effect, while the shirt dress-style buttoned front and exaggerated cuffs add a refined touch.

Keeping the ensemble simple and sharp with black accessories the look was punctuated with red lip.

Maggie Gyllenhaal In Schiaparelli Couture – 2017 Berlinale International Film Festival Closing Ceremony

Maggie Gyllenhaal attended the 2017 Berlinale International Film Festival Closing Ceremony on Saturday (February 18) in Berlin.

Consistency of style was her strong suit throughout the festival, as she maintained a loosely romantic, boho flair in many of her looks.

The mood continued for this diaphanously flowing Schiaparelli Spring 2017 Couture gown with its decorative Asian floral motif.

Her wavy locks only echoed the fluidity of form here, with a red lip providing a finishing pop of boldness in absence of the runway’s pendant necklaces.

Maggie Gyllenhaal In Preen & Gucci – Berlinale International Film Festival

Maggie Gyllenhaal has been making the rounds at the 67th Berlinale International Film Festival in Berlin, where she’s recently attended a press conference, photo call, and the ‘Django’ premiere on Wednesday (February 8) and Thursday (February 9).

Jury Press Conference
: The actress channeled her inner flower child in a Preen Resort 2017 dress, toughened up with black boots. There was a lot of print here, but the ruched shaping helped manage the silhouette.

Jury Photo Call
: The flower power continued in a Gucci Pre-Fall 2017 frock that fully embraced Maggie’s love of a bohemian style spirit. That bright pink bow was just the right happy finish for this exploded print.

‘Django’ Premiere
: The rich boho vibe continued at the premiere, where she again wore a Gucci gown. Given the highly decorative embroidery and the powder pink colour, this was not an easy-to-wear look, but she carried it off beautifully with this attention-commanding entrance.
