Madeline Brewer In Elisabetta Franchi – ‘The Handmaid’s Tale’ Hulu Finale Screening

Madeline Brewer joined co-star Alexis Bledel for ‘The Handmaid’s Tale’ Hulu finale screening on Monday (July 9) in Los Angeles, California.

I really admire that Madeline opted to wear this tricky Elisabetta Franchi Fall 2018 hybrid marigold tulle dress with blazer style sleeve.

My problem with this look isn’t in design, it’s the styling.

I love the cohesive nature of the tan accessories on the runway, but things felt a bit disjointed by comparison on the red carpet.

Nicholas Kirkwood ‘VV’ pumps completed her look.

Hulu’s ‘The Handmaid’s Tale’ FYC

The ladies of Hulu’s ‘The Handmaid’s Tale’ attended the For Your Consideration event on Thursday (June 7) in Beverly Hills, California, serving up a range of summery styles.

Alexis Bledel: This was easily my favourite of the group. A soft knit texture and a fitted silhouette makes this striped dress a contemporary but versatile statement from Diane von Furstenberg’s Spring 2018 collection. Factor in those yellow pumps and jade-green earrings and I’m coveting this look from head-to-toe.

Madeline Brewer: Red carpet suiting has presented itself in many forms of late. Madeline threw caution to the wind by opting for this harlequin Teresa Helbig Spring 2017 sequin suit with Brian Atwood’s ‘Valerie’ pumps. If you’re having a case of déjà vu, that’s because Angela Bassett wore the full length version of this look. I love Madeline’s version as it possesses a playful, youthful spirit.

Samira Wiley: The actress wore a beautiful Georges Chakra cobalt blue sleeveless jumpsuit with a ruffle overlay detail from the Spring 2017 collection. All that was missing from this look was a yellow or orange clutch to liven things up. Maxior diamond earrings completed her look.

2018 CFDA Fashion Awards Red Carpet Roundup

Here is a roundup of some of the other attendees at the 2018 CFDA Fashion Awards on Monday (June 4) held at the Brooklyn Museum in New York City, joining Cate Blanchett, Kim Kardashian, Sarah Paulson and many more.

Nina Dobrev: I really wanted more from Nina. More colour, more magic, more wow and something unexpected. I feel like we’ve seen this Zac Posen dress a thousand times.

Whoopi Goldberg: Do not adjust your sets, this is Whoopi wearing a hot pink in Christian Siriano Spring 2018 suit with a matching hat that wouldn’t look out of place at the Kentucky Derby. Even if you don’t like the fit or the comfortable shoes, at least this is guaranteed to put a smile on your face.

Madeline Brewer In Brock Collection & Missoni – SiriusXM & Build

Madeline Brewer was busy yesterday (May 29) promoting her hit show, ‘The Handmaid’s Tale’ at SiriusXM and AOL’s Build in New York City.

SiriusXM: The Brock Collection woman is a modern romantic, and while the pieces are precious, they were made to be worn with nonchalance. Madeline got the mix right by pairing her Spring 2018 corset with a pair of button down J Brand jeans and Malone Souliers ‘Maureen’ pumps.

AOL’s Build: While I love the colours and the playful retro air of this Missoni Resort 2018 dress, I was slightly turned off by the tiered skirt as I feel it overcooks and overwhelms the look.

SCAD FASH Premieres ‘The Handmaid’s Tale’ Exhibition

A collection of costars were in attendance to celebrate the SCAD FASH premiere of ‘The Handmaid’s Tale’ exhibition on Monday (April 30) in Atlanta, Georgia.

Amanda Brugel: Wearing a Dodo Bar Or dress, the Canadian actress went for a bewitching, moody glamour. Unfortunately, all of the ornate detail is lost because my eye goes right to the beige bra. Black or a true nude style would have presented a cleaner finish and allowed the details to shine.

Sydney Sweeney: The actress has been in quite the romantic mood of late and this Giamba Spring 2018 dress continued the theme. The sheer style is sweet but still chic. Paired with the platforms, it takes on a breezy summer sentiment.
