Children Mending Hearts’ 10th Annual Empathy Rocks

The 10th annual fundraiser for Empathy Rocks was a milestone in Children Mending Hearts’ history as they continue to do great work in keeping schools and children safe from bullying and intolerance.

Storm Reid: The young actress received the ‘Hero of the Future’ award, which recognizes a young individual who “embodies the best qualities of a positive role model” so congratulations to her. I love how she opted to soak up the summer sun in this floral dress from Caroline Constas. Worn off the shoulder to add to its feminine allure, I would’ve been tempted to wear espadrilles with this look, especially considering the ‘heel-sucking’ grass beneath her, but she wisely opted for embellished thong sandals instead.

Maddie Ziegler: I love how sweet and feminine this Giambattista Valli ruffle tiered lace mini dress is, but I have a feeling some might find the black lace faux bra detail a bit too mature. I feel it brings a contemporary element to the look.

Tiffany & Co. Paper Flowers Event And Believe In Dreams Campaign Launch Red Carpet Roundup

The Tiffany & Co. Paper Flowers event and Believe In Dreams campaign launch on Thursday (May 3) in New York City was positively brimming with beautiful fashion moments. Attendees joined Sarah PaulsonGreta GerwigZendaya Coleman and Elle Fanning.

Hailey Baldwin: The model showed a softer side in Ellery Fall 2018. This was a nice change of pace from her typical on-trend style. There’s a magical quality from the prismatic fabric, silver shoes and pared-back styling.

Yara Shahidi: The ‘Grown-ish’ actress looked elegant in Prada. Given some of the high impact looks, I expected more drama from her. This still oozes sophistication, but I would have loved to see her in something head-turning like her Marie Claire’s 5th Annual ‘Fresh Faces’ look.

Naomi Campbell: Combining a whimsical white coat with a sultry dress, she most definitely made a statement in Sukeina Fall 2018. The juxtaposition of the angelic frills with the sensual dress is dynamic and her unique interpretation of whimsy. Some might find it jarring, but it did succeed in commanding attention.

Maddie Ziegler In Ba&sh – My Friend’s Place 30th Anniversary Gala

Maddie Ziegler turned heads at the My Friend’s Place 30th Anniversary Gala on Saturday (April 7) in Los Angeles, California. The non-profit organization helps inspire and assist homeless youth to build self-sufficient lives.

The dancer was clad in rich emerald Ba&sh separates. Rather than playing into the languid nature of the pyjama-style pieces, she elevated them for a striking, polished finish.

Nicholas Kirkwood ‘Penelope’ sandals added formality while a gray T-shirt emblazoned with a sparkling heart brought a casual-cool sentiment.

The graphic T-shirt also prevented the separates from reading too maturely and promoted a message of love and support.

WSJ Magazine 2017 Innovator Awards Red Carpet Roundup

The WSJ Magazine 2017 Innovator Awards on Wednesday (November 1) in New York City were an elegant affair with many stylish attendees opting for an inky colour palette.

Naomi Campbell: Despite the asymmetrical proportions of her Jean Paul Gaultier Couture outfit, methinks many will be focused on the chain facial jewellery. She went for a show-stopping look, but I wish there were a few less accessories so we could better appreciate the way the dress merges into trousers.

Gwyneth Paltrow:
Donning Michael Kors Collection Spring 2018, the actress tempered a sleek white and black dress with an oversized black blazer. I’m sure many will describe this as shapeless, but I found the proportions refreshing. What’s more, I appreciate the way she carried it off with a relaxed elegance.

Maddie Ziegler:
The dancer struck a pose in a slinky Tommy Hilfiger slip dress which was enlivened by gold zigzags and inky sequined diamonds on the hem. The gold lace-up shoes tied in the frock’s detail while adding a fun element that was appropriate for her 15 years.

Maddie Ziegler In Marc Jacobs – ‘Leap!’ LA Premiere

Following the Teen Choice Awards, Maddie Ziegler continued to Fall forward on the red carpet for the premiere of ‘Leap’ on Saturday (August 19) in LA.

Could you imagine wearing a Marc Jacobs high-neck, long-sleeve velvet dress on a summers day?

Me neither, but as I said before, I find her style quite refreshing in that it’s not predictable.

Fun, and youthful with a bit of an edge, the look was styled with Jimmy Choo booties, Beladora studs and a braided ‘do.
