End of The Week Red Carpet Roundup

With Cannes in full swing, there were many more looks that took to the red carpet this past week outside of the film festival fashion scene.

Kerry Washington: I was so delighted with Kerry’s recent vibrant ensembles that this Monse Fall 2017 dress left me underwhelmed at the ‘Scandal’ Watch Party presented by The Paley Center for Media. Yet, it was still a chic showing from the actress.

Eleanor Tomlinson: A dainty Altuzarra Spring 2017 embroidered chiffon top provided a delicate counterpoint for black trousers and a black leather tie belt. Metallic ‘Parker’ sandals completed the casual-elegant look at ‘The Talk Of The Townhouse’ hosted by Jo Malone London.

Dakota Fanning: Sassy hot-pink won the prize in this youthfully fun Proenza Schouler ikat-inspired crepe wrap dress from the Pre-Fall 2017 collection, which Dakota strutted out at the 2017 Turner Upfront.

Lucy Hale In Milly & Christopher Bu – Good Morning America

Lucy Hale debuted her sleek, freshly cropped bob, as she joined the ‘Pretty Little Liars’ cast at ‘Good Morning America’ on Tuesday (April 17) in New York City.

Look 1: Her first look saw her in a Milly top and trousers style with Jenny Bird ‘Edie’ hoop earrings. I love that the peplum detailing of the top, not to mention her rich berry lip, brought a feminine note to the menswear-inspired pants.

Look 2: Changing into a Christopher Bu Spring 2017 frock, the vibrant green colour immediately captured my gaze in concert with the retro-oversized buttons. Striking the right balance between sweet and chic, the dress was only enhanced by the polished tailoring of an Elisabetta Franchi Spring 2017 coat for the ultimate sophisticated finish.

New York Comic-Con 2015 Highlights

New York Comic-Con 2015 Highlights

New York Comic-Con 2015 took place at The Jacob K. Javits Convention Center this weekend. Here are just a few of the stand out looks.

Lucy Hale: Serving up youthful flare, the ‘Pretty Little Liars’ actress wore a Zuhair Murad Resort 2016 outfit which had plenty of kapow thanks to the sequin embroidery zig-zig design.

Rashida Jones: Having never met a print she didn’t love, Rashida visited the SiriusXM Studios wearing a lively Wes Gordon Fall 2015 drop waist dress styled with Pierre Hardy ‘Ace’ sandals.

Shay Mitchell: Going the sex kitten route, the actress was posing up a storm in the press room for the ‘Pretty Little Liars’ panel wearing a Noam Hanoch Lou jumpsuit with a sultry nude lace underlay. You may remember that Gabrielle Union wore this during New York Fashion Week Men’s back in July.

Lucy Hale In Julien Macdonald – 2015 Teen Choice Awards

Lucy Hale In Julien Macdonald - 2015 Teen Choice Awards

Lucy Hale attended the 2015 Teen Choice Awards at the USC Galen Center on Sunday (August 16) in Los Angeles, California.

The actress wore a Julien Macdonald Fall 2015 ink-blue mini dress rendered in black floral embroidery and infused with some sultry appeal via the mesh panel.

I love that even though she opted for something new, she still possesses plenty of girlish charm.

Styled with a black Edie Parker clutch and strappy sandals, I would say this was a successful outing which saw her leap outside her comfort-zone.

Do you agree?

Lucy Hale In Vatanika – Late Night with Seth Meyers

Lucy Hale In Vatanika - Late Night with Seth Meyers

Lucy Hale made a guest appearance on ‘Late Night with Seth Meyers’ ahead of the season 6 finale on Thursday (August 6), where the actress was in very high spirits.

Turning classic tuxedo styling on its head, the actress paired her Vatanika straight leg trousers with a bead-trimmed metallic striped crop top giving the look an uplifting, free-spirited edge.

I love the ankle boots on the model, however, the lady-like pumps were the perfect choice for Lucy to keep this look in line with her style.

ABC Family’s 2015 Upfront Presentation

The girls of ‘Pretty Little Liars’ were at ABC Family’s upfront event held on Tuesday (April 14) at SIR Stage 37 in New York City, where the pretty young things coordinated beautifully in black and white.

Ashley Benson: Bold aqua gemstone earrings and metallic pumps ignited her modern A.L.C. Spring 2015 white jumpsuit with side cutouts that combined mannish lines with feminine detail. Shame about the creases.

Troian Bellisario: The deep plunge in Troian’s black dress assured that the girly baby-doll silhouette and twirl skirt was all grown up, too. That said, the frock would have benefited from sassier styling. As presented, the long pendant necklace and pattern pumps fell flat.

Lucy Hale: Also opting for an all-black ensemble, Lucy wore an Elizabeth and James ruffled top and pencil skirt paired with strappy sandals. I loved this look for its effortless simplicity and flirty sophistication, which was only enhanced by her cute crimped bob and radiant rose-toned makeup.

Shay Mitchell: Splitting the difference, Shay selected a black and white look that also worked the masculine-feminine angle with a sexy AQ/AQ plunge bodysuit and Sass & Bide wide-leg trousers, all enhanced with an embellished belt.

I love the pop of Ashley’s earrings, but Lucy’s ensemble won me over for its chic simplicity. Which look caught your eye?

Lucy Hale In Self-Portrait – mark. Spring Beauty Collection Launch

Lucy Hale In Self-Portrait - mark Spring Beauty Collection Launch

In her ambassador role, Lucy Hale helped launch mark. Spring Beauty Collection at The London Hotel, on Wednesday (April 8) in West Hollywood, California.

The actress wore a Self-Portrait ‘Lila’ midi dress, combing sheer mesh and a transparent lace in a sweet, ultra feminine way, with the black trims adding a touch of modernity, allowing her black Gianvito Rossi pumps to be incorporated seamlessly.

The sheer trend may have been overplayed, but when presented so flawlessly and effortlessly like this you’ll get no complaints from me.
