Lizzy Caplan looked fierce – in the truest sense of the word – at the premiere of ’Bachelorette’ in New York City on Tuesday.

The up-and-coming actress squeezed herself into a Heritage Halston cobalt blue leather mini dress for the event. The result was impressive, though I would’ve preferred it if she’d slicked back her hair and opted for a more dramatic eye.

On an another note, it seems as though all the ‘Bachelorette’ girls are mad for Stella McCartney. Not only is Lizzy wearing a pair of pointed-toe pumps by the British designer, her co-stars Kirsten Dunst and Isla Fisher both wore Stella McCartney for the event.

A Rebecca Minkoff clutch provided the finishing touch.

Lizzy Caplan made a guest appearance on ‘The Tonight Show with Jay Leno’ on Friday following her ‘Bachelorette’ co-star Kirsten Dunst who appeared on the show the previous evening.

The actress continued to showcase her unique style wearing a Stella McCartney Fall 2012 dress.

Her colour-block tweed dress with grey, black, taupe and brown panels also has white panels at the back.

Some of you may consider that the look has too much going on with the addition of the high neckline and godets shape fluted skirt, but I think with Lizzy’s quirky and fun approach to fashion she pulls this look off quite nicely.

Opting to forgo jewels, Lizzy accessorized with Ruthie Davis ‘Dragon’ sandals which perfect the look.

I’m very excited to see what Lizzy gives us next, as she’s so unpredictable. Thankfully, in a good way.

Lizzy’s hair is much improved from the last outing, opting for simple wavy locks, so what do you think of this overall look?

Lizzy Caplan joined co-stars Isla Fisher and Kirsten Dunst on the red carpet for the premiere of their latest movie ‘Bachelorette’, held at the ArcLight Cinemas in Hollywood, California, yesterday evening.

The actress kept things simple wearing a cream bustier dress with double spaghetti straps.

Elegant styling included nude strappy Stella McCartney sandals, a light-blue Rebecca Minkoff ‘Rex’ minaudiere and a diamond-encrusted Bulgari bracelet; it’s just a shame about the hair.

This just-got-out-of-bed look doesn’t quite work for me.

I would’ve loved an elegant updo or a tight bun.

Lizzy Caplan is an American actress best known for her TV roles in the CBS show ‘The Class’ and HBO’s ‘True Blood’ (2008), plus she’s starred in movies such as ‘Mean Girls’ (2004) and ‘Cloverfield’ (2008).

The 30-year-old actress has suddenly come back on our radar with a shorter hairstyle, attending two premieres and a photocall within the last five days.

She started her red-carpet comeback at Grauman’s Chinese Theatre last Thursday at ‘The Campaign’ premiere wearing an on-trend white crop top and a Rachel Zoe A-line ‘Drew’ skirt from the designer’s Resort 2013 collection.

A blue satin Kotur clutch, matching blue nail polish, accessorized her look along with Dolce & Gabbana wedges.

Yesterday she attended the ‘Bachelorette’ photocall during the 65th Locarno Film Festival in Switzerland.

Whilst I applaud the artistic nature of her Lisa Ho tropical-print mini dress, I find her yellow-and-nude BCBG ‘Vera’ studded raffia sandals a bit of an eyesore.

By nightfall she was on the red carpet again, this time for the movie’s premiere, dressed in a signature Issa London dress.

Her emerald-green gathered dress was styled with copper Brian Atwood ‘Amelye’ sandals and a matching clutch.
