When I met Donatella Versace on Friday after her Versace Spring 2010 presentation, she told me that she likes to modified pieces from the runway to suit her body, and that’s exactly what she did here.

A tropical print mini dress with coil details at the waist, becomes a figure-hugging black dress with coil details cinching in Donatella’s already tiny waist.

I adore both looks.  She really is amazing.

Janet Jackson’s Versace Fall 2009 gown wasn’t modified but hers was electric blue to the runway’s black.

The wrap around gown was also nipped in at the waist to give Miss Janet that perfect hourglass figure.

Giovanna Battaglia does a good job of wearing this Louis Vuitton Fall 2009 blue and pink dress with a lace overlay without making it look comical.  In fact she looks better than the runway.

She paired her mini dress with a pair of LV Fall 2009 lace up boots with a pink trim and a pink clutch from the same collection.

Dita Von Teese wore a Dolce & Gabbana Fall 2009 hot pink satin long sleeved ruched dress with black waist belt.

This dress is quite refreshing on Dita as her dress with the exaggerated shoulders isn’t too structured.

I doubt Poppy Delevigne knows who Chiling Lin is, but she OWNED this Salvatore Ferragamo gown when she wore it to the 2009 China Huabiao Film Awards last month.

Because of that fact this stunning gown just looks OK on Poppy as I know how amazing this gown really is on the right person. Plus Chiling wore it without the sheer detail on the neckline which is not doing much for Poppy.

Anja Rubik is one of my favourite models of the moment.

The super look gorgeous in a dazzling Gucci Fall 2009 embellished sparkling mini dress.

She paired her edgy dress with studded booties to complete her rock chic look.

Gwyneth Paltrow wore the runway grey version of this Salvatore Ferragamo Fall 2009 gown last year, but I much prefer Maria Sole Brivio Sforza’s bright coral version.

My only claim to fame is being the first to recognise that Angelina Jolie wore this Max Azria Spring 2009 dress back-to-front at the SAG Awards earlier this year.

WAG Kristina Liliana Matthaeus, wife of legendary footballer Lothar Matthaeus, wore the dress the right way at this event pairing her cornflower blue gown with a snake skin clutch.

I’m not quite sure when I pushed the snooze button on Rachel Bilson, but I even though she is wearing a beautiful Salvatore Ferragamo gown with a black clutch by the same designer I don’t feel wowed by any means.

This Bilson/Ferragamo collaboration just doesn’t feel natural.

I’m not crazy about the bodice on Chanel Iman’s black silk gown, but she looks very elegant and statuesque on the red carpet, but she should have got her guest to stand up stream from her so he could have looked a bit taller.

Her sparkling belt and diamanté wedges add bit of sparkle to her look.

Didn’t Linda Evangelista once say that she’d rather go naked than wear fur?

You would be forgiven for thinking Naomi Campbell was kicking the stuffing out of Linda Evangelista, with her fiery tempered reputation. But this editorial is part of the new Dsquared² Spring 2009 advertising campaign.

The campaign was shot by Steven Meisel, with the models clad in slinky black maxis, strappy sandals and chin-strap skull caps.

Fistfighting has never looked so glamorous.

Naomi then goes onto prove, that she is a lover not a fighter, with the final picture in which the two supers lay back after their sparring session.

Long live the supers. May they never wrinkle.

The supermodel revival continues, and Linda Evangelista proves to us that 15 years on, she still deserves her “supermodel” title in this amazing shoot for W Magazine.

Steven Klein has really captured her timeless beauty in this dramatic shoot.

This is one of many projects for the supermodel. She is currently the face of Prada’s lace campaign, and she is the international spokesperson for L’Oreal’s.

The beauty company announced a profit boost of 20 per cent since she appeared in their TV adverts, which just goes to prove that we prefer familiar faces selling us products.

Carla Bruni is a beautiful lady, but when I saw her cover of Vanity Fair, I was not inspired to purchase the magazine. Instead I opted to flick through the magazine at my local Borders.

Thankfully it did not have that protective plastic cover on it, because I would have missed Mario Testino’s 90s supermodels photo shoot.

My little mock up above is how the September issue could have looked. *sigh*

I bow down to all that is good and great about Vanity Fair, but this was clearly a wasted opportunity of what would have been a great cover of these stunning models.

The supers editorials are mesmerizing. These women are still as beautiful as the day they were deemed supermodels over 15 years ago.

What is their secret?

I was not a big fan of lace until recently, and the picture of the 6 supers in Prada Fall 2008 dresses is just fantastic. I love the lack of egos that saw both Claudia Schiffer and Christy Turlington wear the same dress.

“Bee Movie”, Premiere, LA

Either Renee Zellweger or her stylist read my blog about Renee always wearing strapless dresses, because here she is wearing a dress that is not strapless.

I am drunk on my power over the red carpet. ;)

I love the flower detail on the front of this Carolina Herrera dress.

Louis Vuitton Gala Celebrating the Murakami Exhibition, LA

Dita Von Teese is wearing a Louis Vuitton Fall 2007 ensemble with the most gorgeous red tipped patent shoes and red clutch to match her flame red lips.

Christina Ricci is that chick that just oozes sex appeal without even trying. I love the gold shoes and the body-con style of this dress.

I love this new hair colour on her. She is known for her jet black hair, but this softens her face.

This dress is just a little to busy for Kerry Washington.

Linda Evangelista is wearing a Lanvin Spring 2008 dress to this Louis Vuitton Gala. I wonder what Marc Jacobs had to say about that.

Serena Williams continues to get it right for her body shape. I am glad she stopped wearing those girlie outfits that just did not suit her.

I love her hair and face here….gorgeous.

She is wearing a strapless Louis Vuitton Fall 2007 dress.

Sofia Vergara needs to raise her profile or get a new stylist, because this is just terrible. She looks like she is off to get a manicure with her girlfriends, not attend a Gala.

“Things We Lost In The Fire” Premiere, Rome

Halle Berry continues to dazzle on the red carpet in non maternity clothes as she swore she would never wear.

Here she is wearing a Dolce & Gabbana dress which are know for being tight. I will excuse the cardigan due to her pregnancy.

You go girl.

Fashion Group International celebrates a Night Of Stars, New York

Kerry Washington is wearing a burnt orange strapless Jean Paul Gaultier gown with a gorgeous jewelled clutch.

Jennifer Hudson is stunning in another empire-waisted gown of pure golden delight.

Linda Evangelista is wearing a sequined Lanvin Spring 2008 dress.
