Front Row @ Burberry Fall 2018

None were eager to miss the Burberry Fall 2018 show on Saturday (February 17) as part of London Fashion Week, judging by a front row that was overflowing with fans of the iconic British label.

Sienna Miller:
If you thought you knew Burberry plaid, you might be challenged to think again given the actress’s fearless combo of the checquered patterns that maintained her free-spirited, boho style.

Keira Knightley: I will have to admit to not recognizing Keira at first. This play on proportions, between the boxy jacket and the frilly skirt, left a lot to be desired when it came to its figure-flattering qualities.

Zendaya Coleman:
Even when covered up in an oversized check coat, somehow Z still commands this look—and leaves me wanting to see the brashly bold, graphic ensemble beneath it all the more.

Lily James In Burberry – 2018 BAFTAs

Lily James went for drama at the 2018 BAFTAs on Sunday (February 18) in London, England, joining Emma Roberts, Saoirse Ronan and Gemma Arterton.

The actress, who is on presenting duties this evening, was clad in a voluminous Burberry gown.

The black colour was a tribute to the Time’s Up movement, but it also added a dark sentiment to the princess style.

Sometimes, black dress can lack impact in photographs, but the diagonal layers of organza in her frock caught the light in photos, for a striking effect.

The embellished belt and her statement jewels also helped exhilarate the look.

Lily James In Hellessy – Dunhill & GQ Pre-BAFTA Filmmakers Dinner And Party

Lily James was a beauty in blue at the Dunhill & GQ Pre-BAFTA Filmmakers Dinner And Party on Thursday (February 15) in London, England.

I was left in awe of the rich mixture of shades in her Hellessy Resort 2018 ensemble. It was so considered that the varying tones extended all the way down to her sandals.

There is a definite romance to the look with all of the ruffles and gathers. Combined with the oceanic colour palette, it almost has a mermaid feel.

It could have come across as out of place or sloppy, especially given the tricky nature of the fabric, but her pared-back styling ensured the look had a sophisticated sense of joy.

It makes me wish people were more experimental with separates on the red carpet.

Lily James In Valentino Couture – 2018 Golden Globe Awards

Lily James was also at the 2018 Golden Globe Awards on Sunday (January 7) in Beverly Hills, California, debuting a new blunt bang for her strawberry-blonde locks.

Like Kate Hudson, Lily wore a Valentino Fall 2017 Couture design. But, her look couldn’t have been more different in its approach to the evening’s glamour.

First of all, lining the gown created a more conservative statement for the wealth of ruffles that covered the design.

I am glad that she kept her styling on the simple side, accenting her bun with a Jennifer Behr bobby pin. Otherwise, I do think that all those ruffles could have been a bit overbearing.

Lily James In Burberry – ‘Darkest Hour’ London Premiere

Lily James made return to the red carpet for the ‘Darkest hour’ premiere held at the Odeon Leicester Square this evening (December 11) in London.

The actress wore one of her favoured brands: Burberry, selecting a sleek black and white gown.

I like how Burberry have refreshes the column gown silouette with bow embellished strap, and how the look presents a very grown up level of glamour for Lily.

I’m pretty sure Kate Winslet would’ve loved this gown, as this style sits firmly in her wheelhouse when it comes to red carpet looks.

Lily James In Alessandra Rich – ‘Baby Driver’ Sydney Premiere

Lily James was back on the red carpet for the ‘Baby Driver’ premiere earlier today (July 12) in Sydney, Australia.

The British actress was a portrait of ladylike perfection wearing an Alessandra Rich Fall 2017 dress with the designers signature crystal accented belt.

Any marmish vibes were quickly vanished with the open neckline and chic understated sandals.

I’m still loving Lily James 2.0. Are you?
