Jason Wu & Lily Aldridge Bloomingdale’s Meet & Greet

Lily Aldridge struck a pose at the Jason Wu and Lily Aldridge Bloomingdale’s Meet & Greet on Thursday (January 18) in Century City, California

The model, who is the face of Jason Wu’s first fragrance, wore a joyful dress from the Spring 2018 collection.

It might be the middle of winter, but I found it a welcome sight to see the white piece adorned with a multicoloured floral print.

The draping and side cut-out enhanced the modernity of the piece.

Those who find the pattern a tad summery for the moment will hopefully find favor with her sleek hair and dark lipstick for their chic finish.

Model Of The Year 2017 – Lily Aldridge

Models have become infamous for taking the less-is-more route when it comes to fashion—as their brand of minimalism is maximum exposure.

That’s why we love our Model of the Year Lily Aldridge for showing that there is far more to style than just skin.

The stunning brunette, who just wrapped up the year walking her ninth Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show, is both a runway and red-carpet veteran.

And, she has never looked more elegant.

No matter if she’s suited up in Ralph Lauren, or upholding classic black-gown glamour in Alex Perry, or captivating in crimson-red Zac Posen, she brings a sense of classic seduction that’s far more sensual than any see-through or skin-baring look.

It was her green J. Mendel pleated cape gown, though, that resonated as one of her most breathtaking moments of the year. Would you agree?

2017 Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show After Show Party

The 2017 Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show After Party took place on Monday (November 20) in Shanghai, China, with a wide ranging mix of styles.

I decided to split them into categories this year staring with: My Favourites.

Cindy Bruna: This Brandon Maxwell Spring 2017 suit originally stormed the runway with a blouse, but Cindy made the look her own by opting to go without.  The excessive boobage might turn off some, but I’m more intrigued by the impeccable tailoring.

Maria Borges: I’m a huge fan of Maria’s style, but I was blown away when she opted to wear this Tiffany Amber gown which proudly showcased her African roots. The dress, the belt and head wrap are gorgeous, but it’s the ‘going against the grain’ statement which I find most endearing.

Jourdana Phillips: You can’t get much chicer than a cream tuxedo dress styled with gold Giuseppe Zanotti rose-gold sandals.

‘Backstage Secrets’ By Russell James Book Launch

A flurry of supermodels were out in force to support noted Aussie photographer Russell James and his new book, ‘Backstage Secrets’ on Saturday (November 18) in Shanghai, China.

Karlie Kloss: Sometimes Karlie plays it safe, so I love how playful this sporty David Koma Resort 2018 mesh frock was. I do think she could have extended the fun to her shoes with a bright-pink pair instead of these Stuart Weitzman ‘Nudist’ sandals.

Martha Hunt: With a play on lavender metallic, this Baja East Spring 2018 two-piece set was sassy if nothing else. Also wearing a pair of Stuart Weitzman ‘Nudist’ sandals, she let the outfit do all the talking with the shoes all but disappearing.

Sara Sampaio: I like how Sara balanced out the wide-leg appeal of these Paule Ka trousers with a sultry spliced Y/Project cutout bodysuit.

Lily Aldridge In J. Mendel – Bvlgari Festa High Jewelry Event

The thing I love about fashion is the feeling of undulated joy it can bring.

I was definitely feeling my feelings upon sight of Lily Aldridge at the Bvlgari Festa high jewelry event held at Bvlgari hotel on Thursday (November 16) in Beijing, China.

What. A. Beauty.

I don’t know what to give credit to first.

The stunning J. Mendel Spring 2018 silk mousseline pleated cape gown?

How beautiful Lily is, or the emerald Bvlgari jewels?

So, I’m going to say it’s a collective effort. Each element enhances the beauty of latter.

Bvlgari Flagship Store Reopening

A group of models were in the mix with Ruby Rose and Ciara at the Bvlgari Flagship Store reopening on Friday (October 20) in New York City.

Bella Hadid: We may have thought that Bella had turned over a new style leaf after her last look, but she was very much back to her comfort zone of body-con silhouettes and thigh-grazing slits in this Roberto Cavalli Resort 2018 gown. That, coupled with her styling that included Stuart Weitzman heels, a high ponytail, and a Bvlgari ‘Serpenti’ bag, and I have a feeling that this ensemble won’t be met with as much fresh praise.

Lily Aldridge: The model kept it classic and simple in an Alex Perry Resort 2018 gown, which clearly acted as the canvas for her necklace.

Jason Wu Celebrates His First Fragrance

Designer Jason Wu recently celebrated his first fragrance with all his friends—who were clad in Jason Wu looks, naturally. They joined him at an intimate dinner to mark the occasion on Friday (September 8) in New York City.

Stacey Jordan Cook: The sheer netted detailing brought an added layer of sultriness to this black slip dress.

Jaime King: This Fall 2017 printed dress was right in line with Jaime’s boho-chic style.

Sofia Sanchez de Betak: Sofia edged up her army-green, ruffle Pre-Fall 2017 dress with layers of gold necklaces and snakeskin booties.

Jason Wu: The star of the show kept it classic in a black suit, preferring to let his designs speak for him.

Lily Aldridge: The model went for alluring simplicity in another version of a satin-y slip dress.

Ruby Aldridge: Opting to take the menswear-inspired route, Ruby showed off tailored sophistication in this suit.

Kate Bosworth: I love how the green patterned motif of this Fall 2017 ruched and draped dress glowed with a certain luminescent quality.
