Models @ The 2014 Victoria's Secret Fashion Show After-Party

Aside from Taylor Swift’s after-party look, there wasn’t much to shout about on the red carpet at the Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show held at London’s Earls Court on Tuesday (December 2) which had a distinct black or white theme.

Karlie Kloss: Standing out for its non-revealing nature was Karlie Kloss’s look. The figure-hugging silhouette and sexy slit worked in an artful juxtaposition with the demure high neck and almost Victorian bow to the neckline of the Alexander McQueen dress, which was styled with a skull-clasp clutch.

Alessandra Ambrosio: Too tight and so tacky. That pretty much sums up my feelings about this ridiculous yet expected Balmain Spring 2015 look. A sure contender for WDOTY.

Candice Swanepoel: Also taking the revealing route was Candice, whose Zuhair Murad white floral embroidered sheer long-sleeve Spring 2015 gown left precious little to the imagination.

Lily Aldridge In Calvin Klein Collection – 2014 CMA Awards

Lily Aldridge In Calvin Klein Collection - 2014 CMA Awards

Lily Aldridge attended the 48th annual CMA Awards held at the Bridgestone Arena on Wednesday (November 5) in Nashville, Tennessee.

The model wore a black custom Calvin Klein Collection long-sleeved tulle and silk cady gown which left little to the imagination.

Some may not get past the body-baring sheer panels and the lack of underwear needed to pull this look off, but I love this look for the way Lily plays down the blatant sex appeal, serving up a refined glamour topped off with effortless styling.

Chanel Dinner Celebrating ‘N°5 THE FILM’ By Baz Luhrmann

Chanel Dinner Celebrating 'No5 THE FILM' By Baz Luhrmann

Chanel hosted a dinner party yesterday evening (October 13) in New York City to celebrate N°5 THE FILM by Baz Luhrmann, with plenty of usual suspects hitting the red carpet.

Lily Allen: Always on hand to show support for any Chanel project, the British singer wore a Chanel Resort 2015 boucle multi-coloured dress, which was presented as a coat, bringing a mod touch to her look with platform Chelsea boots.

Poppy Delevingne: The socialite looked beautiful and graceful wearing a colourful chiffon Resort 2015 look comprising three tiers, which she effortlessly styled with a blue Chanel clutch. She was by far my favourite at this event.

Gisele Bündchen: The Brazilian model, who appears in the film, selected a look from Chanel’s Fall 2014 Couture collection. Complementing the shimmering silver embellished look with silver accessories including a gorgeous pair of Jimmy Choo ‘Minati’ pumps with an asymmetrical strap, I can’t help but feel that no matter what she wears, she always looks the same. This is usually a good thing, but not on this occasion. She’s just doesn’t strike me as a Chanel girl. Her over the top posing at this event proved that.

Who Wore Emilio Pucci Better…Lily Aldridge or Noomi Rapace?

Who Wore Emilio Pucci Better Lily Aldridge or Noomi Rapace

Lily Aldridge wore this sleek red velvet Emilio Pucci suit to the Harper’s Bazaar Celebrates Icons by Carine Roitfeld event last month, styling her look with a sheer orange blouse.

The same look was barely recognisable when Noomi Rapace wore it in fuchsia-pink a few weeks later with a pink necktie blouse for the San Sebastian International Film Festival premiere of ‘Automata’.

The problem with Noomi’s look is that the suit was approximately two sizes too big. Even with the excessively long trousers, Lily made this look work for her.

Lily wins by a landslide.

Lily Aldridge In Sally LaPointe & Donna Karan – US Weekly’s Most Stylish New Yorkers of 2014 Party & Victoria’s Secret Hosts Russell James’ ‘Angel’ Book Launch

Lily Alridge In Sally LaPointe & Donna Karan - US Weekly’s Most Stylish New Yorkers of 2014 Party & Victoria's Secret Hosts Russell James' 'Angel' Book Launch

Lily Aldridge strutted out a fashion double-feature, with two looks for two events on Wednesday (September 10) in New York City. She made appearances at both Us Weekly’s Most Stylish New Yorkers of 2014 party and the Russell James “Angel” book launch, which was hosted by Victoria’s Secret.

Us Weekly: First up, the model selected a Sally LaPointe Fall 2014 black silk wool degrade, pleated bustier dress. On some, this may have been an awkward length. But she carries off the simple, structural statement beautifully, accessorizing with vampy black heels. My favourite part, though, was her fun ‘Lily’ clutch by Edie Parker, which puts some spirited attitude into the look.

Victoria’s Secret: Another party, another LBD. This time, her Donna Karan Pre-Fall 2014 sparkling, embellished gown struck a sexier chord with its sheer overlay detail. She took a similarly straightforward approach to the styling, with hardly any jewels and a kohl-rimmed eye.

Get The Look: Lily Aldridge’s Smoldering Fashion Rocks Look

Three Lions Entertainment Presents Fashion Rocks 2014 - ArrivalsCelebrity makeup artist Robert Sesnek worked with Lily Aldridge to create her look for Fashion Rocks 2014.

He began by prepping Lily’s skin with Creme de La Mer before applying Armani Luminous Silk Foundation 6.5-7.5 and 10 around the hairline.

Armani Fluid Sheer 5 was applied on her cheeks and Laura Mercier Translucent Powder to set, while also appling a bit of Chanel Les Beiges Number 6 around the hairline. He filled in the brows using Laura Mercier Brow Powder in Dark Brown.

To create the smokey eye, he used Laura Mercier Smokey Eye Palette in Grey/Black, Laura Mercier Pencil in Stormy Grey, and M.A.C. Smolder in the waterline/rim. He then applied L’Oreal Voluminous Mascara in Carbon Black on her lashes and added some extra Velour Lashes in Strike a Pose.

To finish off, he lightly dusted YSL Poudre Sur Mesure in Sand on the t-zone and applied Tom Ford Lipstick in Adobe Smoke on the lips.
