Vogue and MAC Cosmetics Dinner Party

Many more stars attended the Vogue and MAC Cosmetics dinner hosted by Lisa Love and John Demsey in honour of Prabal Gurung at the Chateau Marmont in Los Angeles, California on Monday alongside Diane Kruger, Zoe Saldana and Jaime King.

Cody Horn: The ‘Magic Mike’ actress opted for a luxe tapestry pencil skirt with a matching short-sleeved top with black sleeves and a ruffled peplum. The black ankle boots wouldn’t have been my first choice with this look; however, Prabal Gurung looks and edgy accessories go hand in hand.

Hailee Steinfeld: The teen actress selected a navy silk dress featuring an embellished bib, which she styled with a black clutch and ecru Coach ‘Leighann’ sandals. You may remember her first Prabal Gurung moment was at the 2011 Golden Globe Awards.

Jena Malone: The indie actress opted for a decorative Prabal Gurung black-and-white frock paired with clear pvc heels with a black ankle strap. Had they not featured a visible ankle strap, it would’ve looked like she was barefooted.

Liberty Ross attended the ‘Lawless’ premiere held at the ArcLight Cinemas on Wednesday evening in support of her pal, screenwriter Nick Cave.

The British actress was all smiles as she walked the red carpet wearing an emerald-green Balmain Pre-Fall 2012 gold-buttoned shirt with black leggings and fierce Azzedine Alaia suede lace-up ankle boots.

While this look might be deemed too casual for this Weinstein Company Hollywood premiere, this wasn’t her premiere and I’m sure the spotlight would’ve been on her enough without wearing an attention-grabbing dress.

Liberty Ross also attended the world premiere of ‘Snow White and the Huntsmen’, held in London on Monday night.

The British model, who stars in the movie, stood out in a vibrant blue Tom Ford Fall 2011 dress. Breaking the black gown rule.

Not many can pull off head-to-toe blue sequins, but thanks to her tall stature, electric blue eys and beautiful fair colouring, Liberty manages to pull it off.

A slick bun and deep ruby lips complete the look which has become a major trend since the Met Gala.

If you are getting a sense of sequin déjà vu, you may recall that Lily Cole wore this same dress back in October 2011 to the Harper’s Bazaar Women of the Year Awards.

As Lily was also at this premiere last night, I wonder if that made for any awkward conversations, or did she just think, ‘I wore that better’?
