‘The Hunger Games: Catching Fire’ World Premiere Menswear Red Carpet Roundup

The Hunger Games Men

The male stars of ‘The Hunger Games: Catching Fire’ all received a very warm welcome when they hit the red carpet in Leicester Square for the world premiere in London yesterday evening.

Liam Hemsworth: The actor donned a dark grey Alexander McQueen suit accented with a red remembrance day poppy. The classic look was styled with a McQueen barbed wire tie, plus a timepiece and beaded bracelet from David Yurman.

Sam Clafin: Opting not to go down the traditional suit-and-tie route, the actor looked very smart in his Burberry Tailoring double breasted navy suit styled with a maroon scarf which matched his tassel accented loafers. He also donned a red remembrance day poppy with a blue-and-grey pocket square rounding out his look.

Josh Hutcherson: The only one opting for a clean shaven look, the man male star wore a midnight-blue Emporio Armani suit with a white dress shirt, matching pocket and micro dot tie accented with a tie pin. Jimmy Choo ‘Prescott’ shoes rounded out his classic, can’t-go-wrong-in-an-Armani-suit look.

Sam is my favourite here. Classic, yet modern.

‘Thor: The Dark World’ LA Premiere Menswear Red Carpet Roundup

Thor Men LA

Some of you were a bit disappointed by the lack of variety when it came to the men’s suits at the LACMA Gala on Saturday, so this menswear post is guaranteed to prove that not all men bet on black.

Chris Hemsworth: Always guaranteed to make us swoon is Chris Hemsworth. He didn’t fail here, donning a crisp Gucci ‘Signoria’ grey peak-lapel two-button suit with a pale-blue dress shirt, silver tie and black leather lace ups. I love that he has kept this tour interesting. His burgundy suit still stands out for me.

Jonathan Howard: Opting to go one better, Jonathan wore a cobalt-blue Alexander McQueen three-piece suit styled with a pristine white shirt and a quirky grey tie with skull and polka-dot print.

Tom Hiddleston: The British actor opted for a more classic menswear look, wearing a black suit and tie. After showcasing his dance moves on Alan Carr’s ‘Chatty Man’ this weekend, he could wear a bin liner and I would still swoon.

Josh Duhamel and Liam Hemsworth In Hugo Boss - 'Anthropocene' New York Premiere

Josh Duhamel and Liam Hemsworth attended the opening of HUGO BOSS’s Columbus Circle BOSS flagship, featuring the premiere of ‘Anthropocene’ by Marco Brambilla, in New York City yesterday.

Serving us two tall drinks of water, the actors almost blend into the backdrop in their Hugo Boss black suits.

Josh opted for a classic look with a satin tie, while Liam mixed things up a little wearing a striped shirt with this satin notched-lapel suit, accenting his tie with a pin.

Hollywood Foreign Press Association’s 2013 Installation Luncheon Menswear Round Up

Hollywood Foreign Press Association's 2013 Installation Luncheon Men

It wasn’t all about the lovely ladies-who-lunch at the Hollywood Foreign Press Association’s 2013 Installation Luncheon, hosted at The Beverly Hilton Hotel in California yesterday. A handsome set of guys rounded out the star-packed afternoon.

Liam Hemsworth: The ‘Paraonia’ actor kept it cool in a breezy slate-blue suit and white shirt, worn sans tie. A black skinny belt, patent loafers and a side of heavy scruff completed his smooth saunter down the red carpet.

Colin Farrell: Taking a more formal approach to the afternoon affair, the Irish actor buttoned up in a grey suit and black tie that was traditionally dapper, but couldn’t disguise his bad-boy charm.

Blair Underwood: Like Liam, Blair also walked a more casual sartorial line. The actor wore a dark blazer and patterned pocket square over a white exaggerated-collar shirt. Slouchy white pants toned down the formality of the blazer, adding a summery spin, as did a tan belt and brogues.

Jonah Hill: The funny-man sported a conservative black suit, white shirt and black tie, rocking a classic and clean-shaven look.

Menswear Red Carpet Round Up

Menswear

Here is a roundup of some of the menswear looks from this week.

Ashton Kutcher: The actor attended the New York premiere of ‘Jobs’ on Wednesday evening at MOMA, continuing his trend for wearing a colourful belt with his navy Rag & Bone suit. His dressy-casual look was styled with a polka-dot pocket square, Pickwick & Weller white tee-shirt and brown lace-up shoes. This look really made me swoon.

Liam Hemsworth: I expected to find myself swooning over Liam, but I can’t say I am fan of this Hugo Boss gunmetal-grey suit with black lapels worn to the ‘Paranoia’ LA premiere yesterday evening. Maybe it’s the black shirt and tie which is throwing me this sombre off.

Tom Hughes: The British actor grabbed my attention wearing a sleek black suit styled with a white dress shirt and contrasting green tie while attending the ‘About Time’ London premiere.

Liam Hemsworth In Ermenegildo Zegna - ‘The Hunger Games Catching Fire’ Cannes Film Festival Party

Liam Hemsworth joined Jennifer Lawrence on the red carpet at Baoli Beach for a party to celebrate ‘The Hunger Games: Catching Fire’ Party during Cannes Film Festival in France on Saturday evening.

After wearing all black to the ‘Jimmy P. (Psychotherapy of a Plains Indian) premiere earlier in the evening, the handsome actor was feeling blue, selecting a two-button notched lapel Ermenegildo Zegna suit.

Opting to rock the look sans tie – it was a party after all – he completed the look with brown oxford lace up Max Verre shoes.

I don’t know about you; but I can’t look into his eyes in fear of turning to jelly.
