'The Hunger Games Catching Fire' New York Premiere Menswear Roundup

Liam Hemsworth and Sam Claflin joined Jennifer Lawrence, Elizabeth Banks and Jena Malone on the red carpet yesterday evening in New York City for the final premiere for ‘The Hunger Games: Catching Fire’.

Liam Hemsworth: Keeping up his impeccable stylish record, the actor wore a Dior Homme classic two-button notch-lapel blue wool serge micro-check suit, with a white cotton shirt and a skinny black silk tie. The blue is really bringing out his eyes.

Sam Claflin: For the first time on this promo tour, the actor wore a tie and opted not to wear those patterned scarves he has been rocking up in until now. Donning a Prada black velvet blazer, crisp white shirt, a navy kid mohair tie and grey flannel trousers, do you like that he switched things up for the final premiere, or do you prefer his signature no-tie, double-breasted-suit look?

'The Hunger Games Catching Fire' LA Premiere Menswear Roundup

There were some swoon worthy gentlemen who joined Jennifer Lawrence, Elizabeth Banks and Jena Malone on the red carpet on Monday evening for ‘The Hunger Games: Catching Fire’ LA premiere

Liam Hemsworth: The handsome actor wore a Dior Homme black wool notch-lapel suit, white cotton shirt and a black-and-white polka-dot tie styled with David Yurman accessories.

Josh Hutcherson: The actor donned Dolce & Gabbana again, wearing a three-piece suit with a speckled-print tie to add some pizzazz to the look. On this occasion I wish the trousers had a slimmer fit.

Sam Claflin: The actor’s tieless streak continued. He wore an Alexander McQueen Prince of Wales double breasted jacket with a white open shirt, signature printed scarf and black trousers. I like the individual pieces, but not as it is styled here.

Alan Ritchson: You are always guaranteed to stand out in a Versace Collection suit, so the handsome actor selected a teal-green two-button suit with notched lapels, which he styled with a white Versace shirt and black skinny tie.

Does Alan upstage the main stars in their dark suits, or do you prefer their more classic red-carpet look?

Best Dressed Of The Week - Elizabeth Banks In Elie Saab Couture & Liam Hemsworth In Dolce & Gabbana

I had a hard time narrowing down ten looks for best dressed this week, but you had no trouble picking a winner; Elizabeth Banks’ Elie Saab Couture gown, which she wore to the Berlin ‘The Hunger Games: Catching Fire’ premiere, was your winner by a country mile and I agreed with you.

Liam Hemsworth’s Dolce & Gabbana suit worn to the Rome premiere of ‘The Hunger Games’ charmed you this week. The actor had five great suits last week, and this sleek Italian suit stood out for me too.

Five looks down; two more (LA premiere (Monday) and New York premiere (Wednesday)) to go.

‘The Hunger Games Catching Fire’ Paris Film Festival Premiere Menswear Roundup

For ‘The Hunger Games: Catching Fire’ – penultimate – Paris premiere both gentlemen brought their A game to the red carpet yesterday evening.

Liam Hemsworth: Much like in Rome, the handsome Australian actor kept it classic looking very debonair wearing a Dior Homme black wool single-button small peak lapel tuxedo with sleek satin trims. Styled with a crisp white shirt, black satin tie, black leather derbies with his usual David Yurman accessories completing the look.

Josh Hutcherson: After having a few tailoring issues with his last look, Josh was back on track; serving up this eggplant Dolce & Gabbana suit styled with a grey shirt and micro-striped tie.

‘The Hunger Games Catching Fire’ Rome Film Festival Premiere Menswear Roundup

Liam Hemsworth and Josh Hutcherson joined leading lady Jennifer Lawrence for ‘The Hunger Games: Catching Fire’ premiere during Rome Film Festival held at the Auditorium Parco Della Musica in Italy yesterday evening.

Liam Hemsworth: While I’m a fan of suits in colours other than black or grey, there is something about a classic suit, especially a Dolce & Gabbana suit like this one which is tailored to perfection, which makes me swoon. His usual David Yurman accessories were added to this look.

Josh Hutcherson: The actor was also in black; however, his three-piece Dolce & Gabbana suit didn’t quite work for me. Josh has been very consistent throughout this nonstop tour but everything here looks one size too big and, as a result of the poor fit, creases are magnified.
