Red Carpet Fashion Awards

Amanda Bynes does what she does best. Gives us something we’ve seen or feel we’ve seen before.

With her Pencey little black strapless dress, that same hairstyle, the black clutch and the black pumps, it’s like ground-hog day every time she steps onto the red carpet.

I’m dying for her to shake up her style. The last time she wore a different silhouette or anything past her knees was at the SAG Awards back in January 2008.

Amber Heard looked red hot and current wearing an Alexander Wang ensemble. This look consisted of a white caged top with a black fitted caged skirt.

Her look was completed with a pair of Chloé bow embellished sandals and a large waist belt.

Amber hair has now become bleach blonde from the lighter blonde locks she sported a few weeks ago. Although this colour gives her an edge, I prefer her as a brunette.  I’m sure her eyebrows would agree.

Kristen Bell always delivers something fresh. She’s not one to follow others and hop on the latest trends. Her look is always consistently fabulous and effortless.

I’m most impressed with her cute fuschia pink 3.1 Phillip Lim dress with a oversized collar which she accessorizes with a multi-coloured Topshop clutch and sparkling Jimmy Choo heels.

Ashley Greene opted for an off-the-shoulder blue BCBG Max Azria dress with a burst of floral prints.

This is the first time I have seen Ashley’s hair styled in a loose updo.

I’m loving the confident stance of Leona Lewis in this picture. It’s been a long time coming.

The Brit singer looked stunning in a blue plunging neck long-sleeved Elie Saab Fall 2008 dress, with dove grey heels and NO TIGHTS. This is a first.

Her figure is amazing. So delightfully curvaceous.

When I saw this event, I hoped we’d get to seem more of the Herve Leger By Max Azria Fall 2009 collection, which was first worn by Miley Cyrus.

Unfortunately, we got nothing original.

Hilary Duff paired her lime green bandage dress with Sergio Rossi python cut-out sandals.

She looks good, but not so crazy about her hair.

Sophia Bush, a long time friend of designer Max Azria, opted for a daring silver plunging dress, with grey suede Trib Two’s.

Leona Lewis wears tights with just about everything, so I wasn’t surprised she paired her Herve Leger Melanie bandage dress which has a beaded shoulder strap, with my least favourite clothing item.

She looks beautifully voluptuous in her dress, which was worn with Trib Two’s.

Double blow.

Melissa George opted for a haltered Herve Leger black dress.

Taraji P. Henson may have just gone and undone all her hard work during awards season. I mean what the…

So wrong on many levels.

Jordana Brewster wore a grey Herver Leger Zebra dress, with a gold trimmed clutch and nude heels.

Krysten Ritter totally opted out of wearing a Herve Leger dress. Instead she wore a red one-shouldered dress, which had a ruffled detail going down one-side, with matching heels.

We haven’t seen Leona Lewis for a long while, but she looked very refreshed, happy, and healthy as she departed LAX yesterday afternoon.

Things were very different a few days earlier. She was apparently injured by her horse while out riding in Los Angeles.

It’s reported that she was given a stallion for her birthday, but was head butted by her steed, knocking her to the floor and leaving her with a split lip. These pictures proves the singer is thankfully OK.

She was dress in all black as she left LAX, wearing tan Ugg boots, and carrying a gorgeous Deux Lux Ruffle bag.

The Deux Lux bucket bag is trimmed with cascading rows of ditsy-floral backed ruffles, and it also comes in black for $68 from Urban Outfitters.

This just shot to number 1 on my affordable Wish List.

Leona Lewis arrives at Nelson Mandela 90th birthday dinner in London last year.

She wore a beautiful strapless pink Missoni gown accentuated with a gold belt. As usual her look was simply beautiful and effortless.

Joy Bryant wore the same strapless dress in yellow, when she arrived at the Art of Elysium Gala in LA last month.

Joy also kept her look simple, but accessorized with a champagne coloured clutch, and a gold bracelet.

I adored this dress in pink, and the gold accent gives this dress more shape, so Leona wins this for me.
