Leona Lewis Bares Her Midriff 3 Times In One Week

Do you remember the time when Leona Lewis wore corset belts for every possible occasion?

Well it now looks like she’s all about baring her midriff.

Three times this week she’s worn a dress which shows off her abs.

On Wednesday night she arrived at the Essence 2nd Annual Black Women in music reception which was held at Playhouse Hollywood. She wore wearing yet another self-designed look.

For the second time I’d like to say “stick to your day job”, but I do love the blue and yellow as it’s a favourite colour combination of mine.

I can’t find myself to be as generous for her second look which she wore yesterday to the 14th Annual Unforgettable Evening which was held at Beverly Wilshire Four Seasons Hotel in LA.

Her body looks outstanding in this turquoise bust-sculpting top which she teamed with a high-waisted purple fishtail skirt, but it just looks like she forgot to wear a top over her bra.

She completed her look with sterling silver spike rings from the Nicky Hilton jewelry collection.

Leona Lewis – “Never Say Never” LA Premiere

I didn’t recognise Leona Lewis at the “Never Say Never” LA Premiere.

The British singer has ditched her golden locks for a deeper rich brunette shade and she added dramatic blunt bangs.

I love the look. She finally has a look to match her divalious voice.

She wore a sheer cropped top which was emblazoned with a bold red pair of lips and teamed with a black pencil skirt and Asos taupe suede pumps.

Her look is questionable, but she’s giving me so much attitude that I think she actually pulls is off quite well.

It’s been reported that Leona designed this dress herself, so lets be thankful she has a great voice.

Roberto Cavalli’s 40th Anniversary Party – Leona Lewis In Roberto Cavalli

Now this is what you call a Roberto Cavalli gown.

Deliciously OTT and in yer face.

I kinda wish this was the gown Heidi Klum wore instead of Leona Lewis who doesn’t quite have the presence to make me love it and forget that it’s a shocking coral colour.

Jennifer Lopez would made me love this gown, because she would’ve given us nothing but divalious attitude and totally pulled it off.

Leona wore this Roberto Cavalli coral strapless corseted gown with layers of lace and tulle to the designers 40th Anniversary Party which was held in Paris last night.

How much do you hate it…I mean love it?

Front Row @ Roberto Cavalli Spring 2011

Milan Fashion Week was celebrity light, but that all changed today as Taylor Swift, Rachel Bilson, Heidi Klum and Leona Lewis were all front row Roberto Cavalli’s Spring 2011 presentation.

Taylor Swift – who was no doubt shopping many pieces from this collection – was head to toe in Cavalli.

She wore an ivory chiffon blouse paired with a satin tiered mini skirt, patterned tights and grey lace-up boots.

Rachel Bilson added a chic black Willow blazer to her printed Cavalli print mini dress which she teamed with booties.

Heidi Klum would’ve made Cavalli happy by wearing an animal print blouse.  The rest of her look included a black leather jacket and loose fitting pants.

Leona Lewis got lost on her way to her interview at Barclays Bank.

What a way to let us Brits down.  The US and Germany have all been well represented here.

“Salt” London Premiere – Leona Lewis In William Tempest

It wasn’t only Angelina Jolie who was supporting a British designer on the red carpet at the “Salt” London Premiere last night.

Leona Lewis was too.

The singer wore a William Tempest Fall 2010 strapless mini dress with a sculptural detail which runs from the bodice down the skirt.

I love the dress on the model, but I have several issues with it on Leona.

Firstly, if you’re going wear a dress like this you don’t pose with your hand on your hips crushing the detail.

Secondly, the tights.

Yes it feels more like Autumn than Summer at the moment in London, but if those kids behind you can wait for hours for your arrival in tee shirts surely you could’ve gone sans tights Leona.

Finally, and most importantly.

If you going to go high fashion do the dress justice by wearing a decent pair of heels.

Where are those from? “Payless Shoes”?

Leona Lewis For InStyle June 2010

Leona Lewis appears on the cover of InStyle UK wearing a Preen printed dress.

In the rest of her editorial shot by Andreas Larsson we see her wearing Dolce & Gabbana and Yong.

In her interview Leona talks about Simon Cowell, her fashion favourites and her body issues.

Here are some extracts from her interview.

On her relationship with Simon Cowell: “I’m very fiery and very passionate. We don’t argue, we debate.”Read More…

Runway To “Love Ball” – Leona Lewis In William Tempest

Leona Lewis performed at the “Love Ball London” event in London hosted by Natalia Vodianova and Harper’s Bazaar this week.

The British singer is determined to shake off the “boring” tag by trying add a bit of sexy edginess to her look.

At this event she wore a copper William Tempest Spring 2010 one-sleeved gown with a padded shoulder.

I like that Leona is experimenting with fashion, but I do not like this gown on her as it doesn’t flatter her figure and the bodice is ill-fitting.

Her edgier looks don’t feel natural at all but there is hope. Rihanna started out wearing bubblegum pink Herve Leger dresses and look at her now.

*Sings* “It will all get better in time.” I hope.

Leona used this event to show off her new tattoo which runs from the nape of her neck to the middle of her back.

If she shaves one side of her head I will totally give up on her.

Runway To 2010 Elle Style Awards – Leona Lewis In Alexander McQueen

Best Black Award
Leona Lewis walked the red carpet at the 2010 Elle Style Awards wearing a black Alexander McQueen Pre-Fall 2009 dress with a keyhole detail.

Unlike Claudia Schiffer and Claire Danes, she opted to break up the black by adding nude heels and a dash of red to her lips.

Even though we’ve seen this look before on Leona at a book signing last October, I still really like the look.

On this occasion she adds more accessories to the look.

It feels like she’s got more attitude and it also feels like she’s in character.

I love the hat, but I may have lost the fingerless lace gloves.
