Chanel Celebrates It’s New Concept Boutique Opening, LA

With her classic quilted Chanel red bag, and her embellished Chanel Spring 2008 T-bar shoes, Rachel Bilson wore a beautiful ruffled Chanel Fall 2008 dress.

The chiffon dress has a cascading silk rosette detail down one side, which is the perfect final touch to this stunning dress.

Leighton Meester opted for an edgier dress from the Chanel Pre-Fall 2008 collection.

This wet-look dress is beautifully embellished with multi-coloured jewels on the neckline.

The Gossip Girl actress completed her look with a black mini Chanel quilted bag and black slingbacks.

Amber Valletta’s chiffon Chanel Resort 2008 dress with asymmetric blue stitching, is perfectly complimented with her Chanel Spring 2008 T-bar shoes with blue accents.

Angie Harmon brighten things up a little, with her multi-coloured striped halter-neck dress from the Chanel Resort 2008 collection.

The orange belt is perfect compliment to this dress.

Michelle Trachtenberg is decidedly mute in this black and grey ensemble.

January Jones wore a black chiffon Chanel Spring 2008 dress with gold accents, which she teamed with a gold clutch.

This dress looked much better on the runway.

Malin Akerman is embracing the jumpsuits trend, in this gorgeous shimmering maroon jumpsuit detailed with a rose.

Tracee Ellis Ross channels her inner Anna Wintour, wearing Anna’s favourite blue and red checked dress from the Prada Spring 2008 collection.

Tracee completes her ‘Editor-In-Chief‘ look with a black Hermes Birkin.

Emma Roberts goes Joss Stone in this psychedelic Chanel maxi dress.

Who allowed Nicollette Sheridan entry to this event? And why does she ALWAYS get it so wrong?

Roberto Cavalli Wine Launch, London

Tamara Beckwith wore a Valentino Spring 2008 pink coat, over her pink top and jeans ensemble.

I love Sophie Ellis-Bextor’s red musical note clutch, as much as I love her ruffled Just Cavalli Fall 2008 flamingo printed shirt.

Camilla Rutherford wore a fushica pashmina, over her cream floral print spaghetti strapped Roberto Cavalli Spring 2008 maxi dress.

Hamptons Magazine 30th Anniversary Dinner with Cover Star Kim Catrall

Kim Cattrall is wearing a pink Herve Leger dress, and proves that you can never be too old to wear a body-con dress.

Dinos and Jake Chapman Exhibition, London

Roisin Murphy is wearing head to toe Gucci. Her top and jacket is from the Gucci Spring 2008 collection as is her gingham skirt.

It is not often we see Kate Moss in head to toe black, and it is not often we see her smiling.

Her LBD is by up and coming British designers Poltock and Walsh.

The cast of Gossip Girl – (clockwise from bottom) – Blake Lively, Chace Crawford, Ed Westwick, Jessica Szohr, Taylor Momsen, Penn Badgley and Leighton Meester, were recently included in People Magazine’s “Most Beautiful People“list.

I could not agree more.

Each girl got to wear a stunning dress for the People shoot.

Blake Lively wore a beautiful Zuhair Murad Spring 2008 nude one-shouldered gown with sequin detail and Chanel shoes.

Jessica Szohr wore a black satin Moschino dress, which did not appear on the runway.

Taylor Momsen wore a Marchesa Spring 2008 white one-shoulder gown with black lace and black satin accents.

Leighton Meester wore a stripey Ralph Lauren Spring 2008 strapless gown.

The boys looked as hot as the girls. They are wearing a collection of Hugo Boss, Burberry Prorsum, D&G and Giorgio Armani.

In the magazine they were each asked to name the best feature of their fellow cast-mates.

Chase Crawford
“Really good, almond shaped nostrils.”Blake
“Good hair. And the sexiest shoelaces in town (I’m joking).” – Leighton

Leighton Meester

With Cate Blanchett returning to the red carpet this week, I was so tempted to give her Best Dressed Of The Week, but it’s Leighton Meester who really deserved it.

She started off the week wearing Christian Dior. On Tuesday she changed 4 times, for 4 different events starting at MTV’s TRL and then changing into Chloe, Monique Lhuillier and Temperley London and on Wednesday she attended the NYLON party in Zac Posen.

A few weeks ago I said that Leighton is becoming the one-to-watch, now she is the one-to-watch.

No matter what the occasion, Leighton’s style, hair, shoes and accessories are all total perfection, as she takes complete ownership of what she is wearing and does not try too hard, nor is she a fashion victim.

There are many ladies that have been on the red carpet longer than her, and are not even half way to were she is.

Alexander McQueen Store Opening, LA

None has dared to wear this pink and violet ombre deep plunging Alexander McQueen Spring 2008 kimono sleeved dress on the red carpet until now. And thank god it was someone with a big personality like Janet Jackson.

I am not usually a fan of Janet Jackson’s style, but she totally owns this dress, were many would have been dwarf by it.

I LOVE Beth Ditto in this multi-coloured Alexander McQueen Spring 2008 gown.

Beth is fearless when it comes to fashion. She always looks amazing, and this is mostly due to the amazing confidence she has.

Elizabeth Banks looks very sexy in this hot pink and black leather Alexander McQueen Spring 2008 cocktail dress.

The skirt has various cut outs, to make this dress a little kinky.

Eve in all white shows off her a Union Jack Alexander McQueen Patent skull clutch. Only 17 of the $2000 Union Jack clutches were produced especially for the L.A. flagship. I am guessing they are all gone by now.

She also wore her much loved (and worn) gold YSL tribute platform sandals.

Joy Bryant is as striking as ever in this zebra print ombre Alexander McQueen strapless gown.

Natalie Maines is sexy, yet sophisticated in this black Alexander McQueen Spring 2008 skirt suit.

I especially love the beautifully constructed shoulders and the fushica/black belt.

Tracee Ellis Ross wears a blue floral dress with a tan belt, and the much coveted Givenchy open toe shoe boots.

TV presenter Cat Deeley is below par in this white lace dress.

Women’s Health “Down To Earth” Event, New York

The elastic belt on this Proenza Schouler Spring 2008 geometric print top adds definition to Chloe Sevigny’s tiny waist. The quirky actress adds a black full skirt leather boots and a black clutch.

CW Network 2008 Upfronts, New York

Blake Lively’s necklaces spice up this gold taffeta Dolce & Gabbana sheath dress. Strappy sandals would have worked so much better than those brown pumps.

Leighton Meester looks strike a pose in her multi-coloured Chloé Spring 2008 tunic dress. The stunning sleeveless dress has crisscross detail at the back for added sex appeal.

Leighton wore her dress with a pair of black Givenchy heels and a croc Chloé Spring 2008 clutch.

Michelle Trachtenberg keeps it simple in a LBD.

Taylor Momsen opted for a floaty tunic dress with nude strappy sandals.

Tyra Banks shows off her wonderful curves in this empire waist plunge neck dress, with a large tan belt.

Entertainment Weekly/Vavoom Upfront Party, New York

Blake Lively wore the same dress to the CW Network 2008 Upfronts event, as she did to this party, but her cast-mates had the sense to change.

Leighton Meester wore this beautiful embellished black tiered Temperley London Fall 2008 dress with a electric blue pair of Christian Louboutin Decolzep Platform Pumps.

Taylor Momsen opted for a neon yellow bubble hemmed dress, with the same nude shoes as before.

Michelle Trachtenberg wore this beautiful sequined dress, but she ruined her look with the tights.

Sara Ramirez is a knock-out in her David Meister coral charmeuse dress. The printed strapless silk dress is beautifully gathered at the bodice for added detail.

The stunning actress wore her dress with silver satin peep-toes and a dove grey Mary Norton clutch.

Actress Dania Ramirez went slightly OTT in this strapless mini Elsie Katz Couture Spring 2008 tutu of chrysanthemum brocade, with rulled petticoat and hand-formed crystal beaded blossoms, but she works it well.

Model Lydia Hearst wore a backless hot pink silk crepe Marc Jacobs Spring 2008 dress with baby pink with shorts which are inserted into the dress.

“Made of Honor” Premiere, Paris

I especially love the skirt of Michelle Monaghan’s strapless belted navy Valentino Fall 2008 dress.

“Made of Honor” Premiere, Berlin

This skirt on Michelle Monaghan’s Dolce & Gabbana dress is even more interesting, as it is slightly ballooned, giving Michelle a very interesting shape.

What I don’t like is the nude panel on the front of the dress. Michelle should have dared to go without it, and had a deep plunging neckline.

Modern Bride’s “25 Trendsetters of 2008″ Awards Dinner, New York

Leighton Meester is having a fantastic week. This time she is wearing a emerald green Lanvin-esqe type dress, with the asymmetric ruffled neckline, but this dress is actually Monique Lhuillier Pre-Fall 2008. Thanks Connie.

We have not seen Sara Ramirez on the red carpet for a while, and she returns with two hot dresses. This dress is also by David Meister, but this one-shouldered bandage dress is even sexier than the first.

The fabric caresses and molds Sara’s incredible curves.

MTV TRL, New York

I am losing count of Leighton Meester amazing wardrobe changes this week, but she has not put a foot wrong.

She does casual chic, as she does high red carpet glamour with equal brilliance.
