Red Carpet Fashion Awards

Here is a look at some of the other 2011 CFDA Fashion Awards attendees.

Shenae Grimes: The “90210″ actress opted for a Rebecca Taylor bustier with black pants. I don’t like this look because of the bricks she has on her feet.

Whitney Port: The beautiful young designer opted to wear a look by other designer. Her Pamella Roland one shoulder ivory pleated gown is sensational. I love the spiral beading and organza floral appliqués.

Emmanuelle Chriqui: The beautiful “Entourage” star was in my Top 10. She looked stunning wearing a vibrant yellow David Meister with a chiffon train. Kudos to her stylist for picking those amazing purple Manolo Blahnik Kioko sandals with rhinestone embellishments. They are such a perfect way to top off this gorgeous look.

I’m sure you can guess tomorrow’s WWIB? poll.

Alexa Chung joined fellow Brit Keira Knightley in the front row of Chanel’s Spring 2011 presentation this morning.

The TV presenter opted for a navy Resort 2011 tweed dress with a sheer embroidered panel.

As she’s not one to often wear heels, I’m not surprised to see her wearing black leather loafers.

Leigh Lezark opted for the most elaborate look of all the stars in the front row.

The DJ wore a white embroidered Chanel Fall 2010 sleeveless dress with a furry skirt.

I would’ve given her maximum points had she opted for the furry boots as well.

Lily Allen turned her Chanel Fall 2010 look in the perfect maternity ensemble as it flattered her beautifully.

Despite the gloomy day in Paris Rachel Bilson opted for a colourful Chanel print dress which has the same print from the Resort 2011 collection.

She opted to wear her summery dress with gladiator boots, an All Saint leather jacket and a red Chanel bag.

Lily is my favourite here.

It was a busy day for me yesterday because I also attended the Gucci Icon-Temporary Store Launch Party in London last night.

Gucci Creative Director Frida Giannini celebrated the opening of the new Gucci Icon-Temporary store on Earlham Street in Covent Garden, London.

This is the third stop in a four city tour for the new concept flash sneaker store.

Giannini was joined by award winning music producer and artist Mark Ronson who arrived wearing a white Gucci suit.

He collaborated on the design of a limited edition Gucci-Ronson sneaker which is available in the store.

Music was provided by The Misshapes’ Geordon Nicol & Leigh Lezark.

The Queen of New York Fashion Week was of course decked out in Gucci. She laughed when I told her that was her nickname on my blog.

She’s so petite in real life, but she has that tough “don’t mess with me” New Yorker attitude.

That tough look was very much represented in her Gucci Spring 2010 ensemble.

The all black look included a black blazer paired with black pants and a black halter top. All these pieces were accented with harness details.

She completed her look with grey Gucci ‘Sigrid’ heels also with harness details.

I asked her what did she loved more Music or Fashion. She told me she loves them equally, as she’s very passionate about both.

Kate Bosworth walked the red carpet at “MOCA’s 30th anniversary after party” hosted by Dasha Zhukova and Pop Magazine.

She wore a black and white Proenza Schouler Spring 2010 printed mini dress.

The actress let her dress do all the talking, by pairing her dress with simple black accessories.

Leigh Lezark the Queen of Fashion Week, attended the Proenza Schouler Fall 2010 presentation during New York Fashion Week wearing the same dress.

The tights can be forgiven as it snowed this fashion week, but even without them Kate would still win for me.

She has the right attitude to pull this look off, plus she looks fresh and effortless.

Leigh Lezark also attended “Derek Blasberg’s ‘Classy’ Book Launch Party” last night held at Barneys New York.

It seems that ‘The Queen of Fall 2010 Fashion Week’ had been taking some notes.

She wore a pearl sequined jacket with a black blouse paired with Burberry Prorsum ruched taupe pants and a Burberry Prorsum leather platform sandals, both from the Spring 2010 collection.

The DJ could’ve gone complete matchy matchy like the runway, but the black blouse breaks things up.

Not BDOTW worthy, but a great look non the less.
