Celebrities Love…Coach’s ‘The Borough’ Bag

Celebrities Love Coach's 'The Borough' BagThe latest accessory on the celebrity set’s arms has big shoes to fill. Inspired by New York City and its five boroughs, Coach’s ‘The Borough’ bag delivers on its lofty Big Apple-influenced name. As iconic as the place it represents, the sleekly versatile tote is hot yet oh-so-cool, downtown and uptown, and subtle but sharp.

Jessica Alba recently topped off her sidewalk-chic ensemble with the oxblood-coloured ‘Borough.’ Of course, Sarah Jessica Parker has been carrying this NYC-inspired bag, putting an elegant edge on her modish-mommy, jeans-and-tee look with one in jade green. Lea Michele went for the classic black ‘Borough,’ which only added more punch to her hat, shades and combat boots.

Also making the Coach bag a must-have of the moment is a laundry list of trendsetters, including Karlie Kloss, Poppy Delevingne, Liu Wen, Drew Barrymore and Freida Pinto.

Effortlessly transitioning from day to night, the bag can pump up any street-style look with its richly hued polished calfskin, pebbled leather and leopard varieties, along with large and mini versions.

No wonder everyone’s boasting ‘The Borough’ by their side.

Lea Michele In Dolce & Gabbana – L’Oreal Paris Women of Worth 2013

Lea Michele In Dolce & Gabbana - L'Oreal Paris Women of Worth 2013

Lea Michele attended the L’Oreal Paris Women of Worth 2013 event held at The Pierre Hotel in New York City yesterday evening as an ambassador of the brand.

The actress brought a bit of festive cheer to the red carpet, wearing a Dolce & Gabbana Fall 2013 long-sleeved signature red lace dress embellished with tonal Swarovski crystals, mostly around the midriff, which I can imagine glistened from every angle.

With the hair and makeup kept subtle and simple, she added black Christian Louboutin sky-high heels and small stud earrings, allowing the dress to take centre stage.

Lea Michele for Elle US December 2013

Lea Michele strikes a pose on the Elle US December 2013 cover wearing a Ralph Lauren jacket, Frame Denim jeans and a selection of vintage Chanel belts.

She was living her dream as Glee’s resident drama queen, dating the quarterback on-screen and off. Then, Cory Monteith’s tragic death shattered her world.

The Glee star opens up to Elle about love, mourning through music, and finding strength in Cory’s legacy.

On how she’s handling Cory Monteith’s death: “I never thought I would be in this position in my whole life. Now that I am in this position, you can choose to rise, and that’s what I’m going to try to do. I know that Cory would want nothing more than for me to take this situation and use it to help people.”

On relying on friend Kate Hudson during the difficult time after Monteith’s passing: “I called [Kate Hudson] and said, ‘I don’t know where I’m going to go because my house is swarmed [with reporters].’ She was like, ‘Oh, you’re going to stay at my house.’ Like it was nothing. No one knew I was there. I’ll never really be able to thank her, truly, for what she did for me.”

On taking time to heal: “It’s very hard. And you have to be very strong to come out of this alive, but I think by doing the best for myself, by showing that you don’t have to lose yourself, maybe someone else will feel some sort of strength or comfort.”

On why she never expected her career in television to take off: “I was told my whole life I would never do television because I was too ethnic. I was 100 percent focused and ready to be the best in the world [of Broadway] I was in.”

Lea Michele In Calvin Klein – CFDA/Vogue Fashion Fund Event

Lea Michele In Calvin Klein - CFDA Vogue Fashion Fund Event

Lea Michele attended the 2013 CFDA/Vogue Fashion Fund event presented by theCorner.com at the Chateau Marmont in Los Angeles, California yesterday afternoon.

The ‘Glee’ actress donned Calvin Klein for the second time in a row, this time selecting a strapless jumpsuit with a fitted bodice and tapered trousers.

I love the beautiful blue Vhernier ‘Venezia’ necklace and the ivory clutch complements the look well; however, her edgy shoe choice doesn’t quite blend so well with the minimalist vibe of the rest of the look.

A slicked-back ponytail and kohl-rimmed eyes completed her look.

Yay or nay on the footwear?

Lea Michele In Calvin Klein – ELLE’s 20th Annual Women In Hollywood Celebration

Lea Michele In Calvin Klein - ELLE's 20th Annual Women In Hollywood Celebration

Lea Michele was all smiles on the red carpet while attending ELLE’s 20th Annual Women In Hollywood Celebration held at the Four Seasons Hotel Los Angeles in Beverly Hills, California yesterday evening.

The ‘Glee’ actress wore a sand-coloured Calvin Klein Collection Spring 2014 strapless frock with cut-outs featuring multi-coloured deconstructed threading details throughout, styled with white B Brian Atwood ‘Lebrea’ strappy sandals and a Kotur beige clutch.

I love the look as it is sexy and fun without trying too hard, but that clutch is close to dominating the look. I wish it was at least half the size.

Her golden glow was complemented with barely there makeup enhancing her lip and eyes. Lacquered and loose ombre tresses completed her look.
