Léa Seydoux In Elie Saab – Trophée Chopard

Léa Seydoux In Elie Saab - Trophée Chopard

Before stunning at the premiere of ‘The Lobster,’ Léa Seydoux attended the 15th anniversary of the Trophée Chopard 2015, hosted during the 68th annual Cannes Film Festival on Friday (May 15) in Cannes, France.

A former Trophée Chopard winner herself, the French actress once again relied on the flattering colour of blue in an Elie Saab Spring 2015 sheer gown with a romantic, flowing silhouette that was inspired by the water.

Notably absent of beaded embellishment, the look was beautiful more for its minimalism. Nor can we fault the transparency of the skirt for not being tastefully executed on this occasion.

The Chopard jewels, especially the statement earrings, set the dress alight with an elegantly refined sparkle.

Léa Seydoux attended the premiere of ‘The Lobster’ during the 68th annual Cannes Film Festival this evening (May 15) in Cannes, France.

Blue has always been a great colour for the French actress, and that was proven once again this evening.

Inherently minimalist, her captivating floor-sweeping Miu Miu gown benefits from sparkling appliqués – so were the sapphire Chopard drop earrings necessary?

At Cannes, when the norm is ‘more is more’, the answer is yes.

Léa Seydoux In Prada – ‘The Lobster’ Cannes Film Festival Photocall

Léa Seydoux In Prada - 'The Lobster' Cannes Film Festival Photocall

Lea Seydoux attended the photocall for ‘The Lobster’ during the 68th annual Cannes Film Festival this afternoon (May 15) in Cannes, France.

I’m not surprised that she’s wearing Prada, but I am surprised that considering this Fall 2015 collection had so many summery options, which would’ve looked amazing with the French Riviera in the backdrop, that she would opt for one of the darkest and most Fall-like pieces.

Thankfully her pink and silver Mary Janes add some vitality to the look.

If she can top her Prada BAFTA gown tonight I will be a very happy woman.

Léa Seydoux attended the Paris premiere of ‘Journal D’Une Femme De Chambre’ at MK2 Bibliotheque on Monday (March 23) in Paris, France.

Translating demure elegance with a subdued black and orange palette, Léa’s Prada Spring 2015 dress is one of those quiet masterpieces that only come to life when worn by a particular woman.

An LBD is a failproof option for after-dark, but when styled with glossy waves, red pumps, a red pout and breath-taking earrings, this was sure to garner plenty of attention and gasps of “oh mon dieu.”

Miu Miu Fall 2015 Front Row

Miu Miu Fall 2015 Front Row
A trio of stars were in attendance for the Miu Miu Fall 2015 show, hosted during Paris Fashion Week on Wednesday (March 11) in Paris, France.

Lea Seydoux
: We couldn’t be surprised to see Lea front and centre, as one of Miuccia Prada’s dedicated followers. The French beauty wore a luxe look, which combined a white lace frock with a fuzzy, fur coat and silver sandals to accent the collar embellishment. A sleek ponytail added a youthful flair to the wintry-spring style mix.

Renee Zellweger: Debuting a new fringe bang, the actress channeled a Parisian-chic vibe with her tousled topknot and red trench coat worn over a black lacy dress. Here, the nude pumps and metallic top-handle bag were well-placed, yet perhaps the flush of a cherry-stained lip or a smoky eye would have taken this look to the next level of polish.

Odeya Rush: ‘The Giver’ starlet paired a navy, collared top with a patent-red, croc-embossed skirt to bold, punchy effect. On this occasion (and only this one), I don’t mind the added clunk of the platform sandals for their quirky and spirited twist for which the Miu Miu label is known.
