Who Wore Christian Dior Better…Léa Seydoux or Jaime King?

Back in March, Léa Seydoux, who was sporting blue hair for a movie role, attended the ‘Les Adieux à la Reine’ at La Reserve premiere in Paris, France alongside her co-stars Diane Kruger and Virginie Ledoyen.

Lea wore a Christian Dior Fall 2012 eggplant long-sleeve top with a textured calf-length purple skirt with sheer panels, which she styled with eggplant wedges.

Jaime King wore the same look to the launch of Rachel Zoe’s ‘Major Must Haves’ range with Jockey at the Sunset Tower in West Hollywood, California last month, opting to keep the statement necklace we saw on the runway.

I loved Jaime’s look until I got to the shoes, which ruin the look for me.

If this was a competition from the ankles up she would’ve won; since it’s not, Lea is my winner on this occasion.

Lea Seydoux In Louis Vuitton – ‘Sister’ London Film Festival Premiere

After Lea Seydoux’s last red-carpet appearance which saw her sporting blue hair, the French actress thankfully returned to her blonde roots.

She could’ve almost been mistaken for Michelle Williams, sporting a pixie cut and a Louis Vuitton Resort 2013 dress with a Peter Pan collar.

Her beige-and-white dress with fringe detailing on the pocket flaps was styled with hot-pink Jimmy Choo pumps which match her striking lip colour.

An Olympia Le-Tan clutch and diamond-encrusted earrings completed her look.

Lea Seydoux In Elie Saab – 26th Cabourg Film Festival

Even with her blue hair – dyed for a movie role – Lea Seydoux still looked stunning as she took to the red carpet for the Cabourg Film Festival in France on Saturday evening.

The French actress wore an Elie Saab Spring 2012 cocktail dress with lace seams.

I’ve been obsessed with this lapis-blue colour since it hit the runway, so it’s interesting to see it paired with such colourful accessories.

Her green Elie Saab leather and metal box clutch, which we’ve seen carried during Cannes by Fan Bingbing, and coral patent pumps are a refreshing change to what could’ve easily been simple black accessories.

Diane Kruger In Derek Lam & Lea Seydoux In Christian Dior – ‘Les Adieux A La Reine’ Paris Premiere

Virginie Ledoyen, Diane Kruger and Lea Seydoux attended the Paris premiere for ‘Les Adieux A La Reine’ at La Reserve earlier today in France.

The beautiful actresses gave a whole new meaning to effortless chic.

Virginie kept her look super simple wearing a black Chanel Resort 2012 dress with grey toe-cap pumps.

Diane, of course, gave us something fresh, new and interesting wearing a Derek Lam Fall 2012 black-and-white-print dress with an embroidered red-and-black collar.

Versus Spring 2012 pumps and a side-swept hairdo, inspired by the runway no doubt, completed the look.

Lea also plucked a look straight off the runway.

She wore a Christian Dior Fall 2012 eggplant long-sleeve top (sans bra) with a textured calf-length purple skirt with sheer panels.

The actress didn’t opt for a statement necklace; instead she added a thin black belt and eggplant wedges.

At the Miu Miu Fall 2012 presentation, Lea showcased her blonde cropped locks; now she’s dyed it black.

I’m still guessing it’s for a new movie, but either way she’s rocking the new do.

I hate to be super predictable, but Diane stands out for me.

Front Row @ Miu Miu Fall 2012

Miu Miu also had a celeb-packed front row yesterday.

Mia Wasikowska: The current face of Miu Miu was front and centre wearing a bi-colour pink-and-black dress with a flared skirt. This is a typically demure choice for the actress, but I wish she would opt for shoes in a colour other than nude just once.

Lea Seydoux: The French actress was in head-to-toe Prada, which is not surprising considering she’s the face of Prada’s Resort 2012 ad campaign. What is surprising is that she’s cut off all her lovely hair. I’m not sure if it is for a new role, or if she just fancied a change, but I did not recognise her. She donned an embroidered black Prada dress with her second pair of Prada flame heels, this time in green. A black flame clutch completed her look.

Katy Perry: The Paris Fashion Week Fall 2012 ‘Queen of the Front Row’ donned a cute pink Prada Spring 2012 flame-print pleated dress. I love her quirky accessories which include a blue Prada Saffiano Lux Pyramid bag with studs and the Prada flame sandals in lemon, but that hair goes from bad to worse.

Kate Mara: The actress opted for a rich, warm berry Miu Miu look featuring a leather trend with jewel button, worn over a top with a black Peter Pan embellished collar and shorts to match. I’m not so crazy about the fuchsia-pink Miu Miu peep-toes – they feel a tad stark against the berry – but I do like the leather pochette.
