Lea Seydoux In Louis Vuitton – 2018 Cannes Film Festival Jury Photocall

Lea Seydoux joined Kristen Stewart and Cate Blanchett for the Cannes Film Festival jury photocall this afternoon (May 8).

When tailoring is done right, it makes any outfit look sharp.

This Louis Vuitton Fall 2018 suit is tailored to perfection. The French actress gives the look plenty of flare, by styling it with an LV tuxedo shirt and embellished pumps.

The blazer initially takes you back to the ‘80s with its padded shoulders and pointed peak lapels, but with the bold green hue and rouge lip, the look feels chic and modern.

Of all the jurors, I’m most looking forward to Lea this evening. Mostly because we have no idea – other than the look being Louis Vuitton – what to expect.

Cannes 2018 Jury

Under the presidency of Cate Blanchett, the Cannes 2018 jury will include five men and four women from seven nationalities and five continents.

Filmmakers Ava DuVernay and Denis Villeneuve and actors Kristen Stewart and Léa Seydoux will serve, alongside Chinese actor Chang Chen, French director Robert Guédiguian, Burundian singer Khadja Nin and Russian director Andrey Zvyagintsev.

Cate Blanchett: The two time Oscar-winner will be the 11th woman to head the jury. I am anticipating a selection of looks from Givenchy, Armani and Gucci. Most likely custom-made. Following the Times Up and Me Too campaigns that saw Golden Globe attendees wearing all black, I’m wondering if Cate will use this event and her presidency to make a statement.

Lea Seydoux In Louis Vuitton – ‘Zoe’ Tribeca Film Festival Premiere

As an ambassador for Louis Vuitton, Lea Seydoux continued to celebrate the brand at the ‘Zoe’ Tribeca Film Festival premiere on Saturday (April 21) in New York City.

Upon seeing this deep navy Louis Vuitton Fall 2018 look, you might be wondering what happened to the other half of the jacket and its sharply contrasted white lapel.

However, I think the half-on, half-off look only increases the nonchalant, Parisian-cool factor that she carries off so well.

As always, it’s refreshing to see Lea make these LV looks her own—here, styling the statement jacket with a chicly tailored blouse and skirt accented by a double-chain belt.

Her sleek locks and classic-red lip polish the ensemble off beautifully.

Some of you haven’t quite warmed to the LV-Lea partnership, so does this look win you over?

Lea Seydoux In Louis Vuitton – Madame Figaro Dinner

Lea Seydoux joined Marion Cotillard for the Madame Figaro dinner on Thursday (April 5) in Paris, France.

I know many of you are still adjusting (or not as the case maybe) to Lea as a Louis Vuitton ambassador, so I’m keen to hear your thoughts on this latest look after you’d deemed her previously look too matronly.

My opinion is that the Fall 2018 collection feels like a better fit for Lea, but I do – once again – love how she makes this look her own, and isn’t a slave to the runway styling of her LV looks.

The maximalist design of the Spring 2018 embellished jacket isn’t usually Lea’s style, but I do love how it modernizes her LBD and tudor-style blouse significantly.

Lea Seydoux In Louis Vuitton – ‘Isle of Dogs – L’Ile Aux Chiens’ Paris Premiere

Lea Seydoux attended the ‘Isle of Dogs’ premiere at the Cinema Gaumont Capucine on Tuesday (April 3) in Paris, France.

You may not be immediately taken by this Louis Vuitton look, but I think Lea is perfectly showcasing Parisian elegance here.

I love how the jacket is shrug over the shoulders for a nonchalant vibe and how she gave the look a contemporary tilt with the Louis Vuitton clutch.

Few could’ve sold a skirt suit and pussy bow blouse look to me as a red carpet premiere look, but Lea does with ease.

Front Row @ Louis Vuitton Fall 2018

Nicolas Ghesquière debuted his latest offering for the Louis Vuitton Fall 2018 collection during Paris Fashion Week on Tuesday (March 6), with a number of the designer devotees in attendance.

Sienna Miller: After attending the 2018 Vanity Fair Oscar Party this past Sunday, Sienna was back on the fashion front row here. Her casual look was full of ’70s, boho charm with the ruffled top and high-waist, cropped denim—topped off with a ladylike finish in her stacked pumps and black-and-white handbag—although I can see some questioning the stark contrast of hues against her outfit.

Jennifer Connelly: I know there was an intentional long and languid aesthetic to these separates, but between the sleeves and the hem, both seemed just a bit too droopy.

Emma Stone: As the latest brand ambassador—also fresh from the Oscars—Emma represented the LV label more successfully here in this paisley frock. I like the unexpected twist to the girlish offering with the peplum jacket, and the additional edginess delivered via the over-the-knee boots.
