Lauren Conrad For Glamour US May 2010

Since leaving “The Hills” – which is now in its final season – we haven’t seen Lauren Conrad that much except for the odd book promotion every now and then.

It seems like she really didn’t like the limelight and is happier living a Speidi free life.

In the May 2010 issue of Glamour US, Lauren talks boys, body confidence and style and with her (100% real-life) BFFs Whitney and Lo for “Friendship” issue.

Her cover was shot by Matthias Vriens-McGrath.

The May issue hits newsstands Tuesday, April 6.

On too much attention: “I get very uncomfortable with people watching me. And I know that sounds silly because of the show, but we were filming with people that we’d known for years, and it was a job.”

On her relationship with boyfriend Kyle Howard: “I don’t have to clear my movie dates with a filming crew. [Laughs] As soon as I started doing the show, I never had a boyfriend off camera; it wasn’t allowed. So I had a rule: I would date someone for a few weeks, and that was it. Anyway, the first two weeks are the best!”

On her body: “I never felt a push to be stick thin. I work out and eat healthy, so mostly it’s about being in shape and having energy. But about a year ago, I looked down and thought, I have cellulite. Where did that come from? I went through treatments; [my body] was like, It’s not going anywhere

Who Wore Alice and Olivia Better? Lauren Conrad, Lauren Bosworth or Marissa Miller

The trend for sequin dresses doesn’t look like it’s going to lose its sparkle anytime soon.

Lauren, Lo and Marissa all wore this Alice + Olivia dress and it’s hard to tell who outshines who.

Lauren Conrad first wore this dress back in September to “VH1 Divas” in New York.

I love the peep toe shoes and simple accessories, which Lauren always seems to get so right.

Her low bun is cute, cute, cute and really suits the dress. Three cheers for her hair stylist!

Following closely in her footsteps was her Hills co-star Lo Bosworth with a gunmetal grey version of the dress, which she wore to her birthday celebrations at LIV in Miami back in October.

I think she looks great and it really hugs her frame well. However, I’m a bit unsure about the nude shoes. Surely this dress could have pulled off something stronger?

Also, Lo, your face is a little shiny.

The stunning Marissa Miller wore this dress recently on the “Tonight Show” and has the best accessory of all – her legs!

I would have liked to see her hair swept back though and the shoes seem a little too heavy for the dress.

It’s a tough one to call but I think Lauren Conrad just takes the lead. Everything seems to come together really well and she’s wearing the best shoes by far.

Assassin’s Creed II Launch Party

Kristen Bell gave us a twirl in her Tibi Spring 2010 dress.

Many of you have wished that celebrities would not wear so many Spring 2010 looks on the red carpet just yet, but this black and white dress could just as easily be a Fall 2009 dress.

I love the print, and the low back which Kristen was only too happy to so show off for the cameras.

Black patent Louboutin’s complete the look.

Lauren Conrad wore a very short pink dress.

The length is very unlike her, but I love it – especially the rose shimmering colour.

Her dress is paired with some killer Topshop Ritz cross over mesh sandals and a black Joie Arietta sequin blazer.

I really love this look.

I bet she is satisfaction to know viewing figures are down on “The Hills” since she left.

Lauren Bosworth unlike Heidi Montag doesn’t blow all her money on big designer labels.

The star is a huge fan of high-street clothes, which is why she is wearing a French Connection LBD.

Love the dress, not so crazy about those ankle boots.

Stephanie Pratt sparkled in a black sequined dress whilst posing in her YSL Divine heels.

These heels are very much a celebrity favourite.

Avon Foundation Celebrates “Champions Who Change Women’s Lives”

Reese Witherspoon is the current face of Avon, and that gorgeous face looked very stylish wearing a Narciso Rodriguez Spring 2010 strapless dress with a white bodice and a black sheer skirt overlay.

I’m glad the dress is not squishing her twins like it does on the runway model.

I think you know that style-wise I find Lauren Conrad very frustrating, but not on this occasion as she was easily one of the best dressed on this red carpet.

I love that she wore a modern Herve Leger bandage dress whilst sporting vintage marcel waves.

Her look was paired with bright red lips with matching nails which gets me thinking someone has been taking some style tips from Dita von Teese.

Trib Two’s as standard.

Fergie looked pretty fab in her nude feathered Valentino dress.

It’s always a snooze-fest whenever Courteney Cox walks the red carpet, and this occasion is not different.

Hollywood Life’s 6th Annual Hollywood Style Awards

Joseph Altuzarra is only in his second season but stars like Paula Patton and Kim Kardashian are putting his label firmly on the map.

I just LOVE how Kim’s curves fill every inch of this white Altuzarra Fall 2009 dress, making it almost look like a totally different dress from the runway.

I would sooner buy it after seeing it on her, than the runway model.

The sexy star pairs her winter white dress with nude Brian Atwood pumps and a snake skin print clutch.

Thank god she’s back to her natural hair colour.

Sophia Bush along with Kim puts herself in contention for BDOTW.

As I said last week Sophia is back, and this sexy lace turtleneck Max Azria Fall 2009 mini dress shows how.

She looks sexy, a bit edgy, yet still the sophisticated Sophia we all know and love.

Cheryl Burke opted to modify her Gustavo Cadile Fall 2009 mini dress into a strapless dress.

I think this maroon dress with the embellished ribbon benefits from the modification, as Cheryl is simply glowing.

Now this is how I like to see Lauren Conrad.

Wearing something young, fun and COLOURFUL.

Her Mara Hoffman Spring 2010 floral print dress deserved some better shoes, but I will just have to live with the fact that Hollywood loves black pumps.

This look is also one of my favourites from this event.

Hayden Panettiere wore a lavender mini Dennis Basso Spring 2010 dress with draped hips. I love the shape and her taupe accessories which include Bally peep toes, Lauren Merkin “Eve” clutch in glitter python.

Katie Cassidy knows how to look sexy without looking trashy.

My mini Charlize Theron looked stunning wearing a poufy sleeved mini dress which revealed her sexy back, and her winged tattoo.

I love the dress, the shoes and the clutch, but I’m not so crazy about the hair.

It may not be as colourful as I would like, but Selena Gomez looks stunning wearing this Notte by Marchesa off shoulder stretch crepe dress with ruffle sleeves.

It’s a grown up look, but not a boring look for the young actress.

With their trademark platium blonde ‘do’s Kelly Osbourne and DJ Luke Worrall couldn’t keep their eyes off each other as they walked the red carpet.

She wore a black and white ensemble with a jeweled neckline, paired with metallic silver Trib Two’s and orange nail polish.

It’s the child I feel sorry for. Pamela Anderson should know better.

What the fudge is she wearing? Any why are their safety pins holding her dress together? Like this look wasn’t tragic enough.

“LC by Lauren Conrad” Kohl’s Launch Party

Yesterday Lauren Conrad launched her new contemporary clothing brand, LC Lauren Conrad at Kohl’s Department stores and on Kohls.com.

The collection included jeans, dresses, tops and bottoms at afford price points. My favourite piece is the watercolour ruffle dress which is currently on sale for $41.99.

At the launch party Lauren Conrad wore her hair tied back in a slick pony-tail to create a different look, but I still found myself bored by the black oversized sweater dress.

The kick-ass Givenchy heels perked me up a bit.
