Front Row @ Louis Vuitton Fall 2018

Nicolas Ghesquière debuted his latest offering for the Louis Vuitton Fall 2018 collection during Paris Fashion Week on Tuesday (March 6), with a number of the designer devotees in attendance.

Sienna Miller: After attending the 2018 Vanity Fair Oscar Party this past Sunday, Sienna was back on the fashion front row here. Her casual look was full of ’70s, boho charm with the ruffled top and high-waist, cropped denim—topped off with a ladylike finish in her stacked pumps and black-and-white handbag—although I can see some questioning the stark contrast of hues against her outfit.

Jennifer Connelly: I know there was an intentional long and languid aesthetic to these separates, but between the sleeves and the hem, both seemed just a bit too droopy.

Emma Stone: As the latest brand ambassador—also fresh from the Oscars—Emma represented the LV label more successfully here in this paisley frock. I like the unexpected twist to the girlish offering with the peplum jacket, and the additional edginess delivered via the over-the-knee boots.

Laura Harrier In Jacquemus – ‘Black Panther’ World Premiere

So star-studded was the ‘Black Panther’ world premiere on Monday (January 29) in Hollywood, California that one such star slipped past us.

Laura Harrier was also in attendance at the highly anticipated night.

Her Jacquemus Spring 2018 ensemble may have been one of the more minimalistic looks of the night, but it had maximum impact.

The sensual drape of the sarong-style, twist-front jacket nearly had a glamorous, beachy appeal—especially with the headband. Paired with skinny cropped pants, it was such a fresh revelation for the menswear-inspired trend.

This was the epitome of dressing down as a way of dressing up, completed by a seamless pair of strappy sandals.

Laura Harrier In Derek Lam 10 Crosby – Ace Comic Con

Laura Harrier was at Ace Comic-Con on Sunday (January 14) in Arizona.

I was immediately drawn to the bright-pink hue of her Derek Lam 10 Crosby Spring 2018 dress, which featured a modern, cropped interpretation of a peplum waist for a girly flair.

I have to admit that I didn’t give the design a second glance in its original lookbook form, so I was pleasantly surprised to see Laura give it so much life.

And, judging by the strap of her shoes, she smartly continued the fuchsia-pink palette through her footwear.

An Evening Honoring Louis Vuitton and Nicolas Ghesquière

‘An Evening Honoring’… an annual fundraising event for the Lincoln Center Corporate Fund, paid tribute to Louis Vuitton Artistic Director Nicolas Ghesquière with ‘The Women’s Leadership Award’ on Thursday (November 30) in New York City.

The award was presented by Jennifer Connelly, to celebrate his many years of excellence in the fashion industry.

As you’d expect, the same list of ladies, and gents, who’ve shown their support for recent LV events were in attendance, plus Nicole Kidman.

Ruth Negga: Of the winged trio here, Ruth is the most successful at pulling off this Louis Vuitton Spring 2018 look. Dreamy in parts with a sheer and leather overlay giving the look an edge, there really is nothing she can’t pull off.

Michelle Williams: The actress perhaps went with the most safest interpretation of this Spring 2018 look, and I have a feeling many will consider this a tad washed out and too one note. I think that she looks really pretty, and to be honest, I’m glad she played it safe. Complicated LV styles overwhelm her in my opinion.

Jennifer Connelly: While I will tip my hat and have huge admiration for Jennifer for going with probably the trickiest look in the Louis Vuitton Spring 2018 collection, my feeling is she has bitten off a little more than she could chew here. There’s way too much going on, and it doesn’t feel as cohesive as the other two ladies.

Laura Harrier In Sies Marjan – 2017 CFDA/Vogue Fashion Fund Awards

Laura Harrier and Leon Bridges attended the 2017 CFDA/Vogue Fashion Fund Awards on Monday (November 6) in the Brooklyn, New York as the guest of Ahlem Eyewear.

Laura Harrier: Donning geek chic Ahlem Eyewear, the ‘ Spider-Man: Homecoming’ actress channelled a dreamy romance in Sies Marjan. This Spring 2018 floaty dress paired with the sporty wedges is a perfect example of why we love her effortless style, and why she’s quickly became a fashion darling.

Leon Bridges: The gospel singer who looked very dapper in his navy Tom Ford suit. I love how his Ahlem shades and suede loafers give this look some ‘Rat Pack’ charm.
