Laura Dern In Roberto Cavalli - 2014 Golden Globe Awards

Laura Dern was at her best on the 2014 Golden Globe Awards red carpet Sunday evening (January 12) in Beverley Hills.

The actress, whose father was in Best Picture nominee ‘Nebraska’, wore belted, bronze dress by Roberto Cavalli, Rupert Sanderson ‘Elba’ pumps, a ring by Graziela Gems, earrings by Ivy and a clutch by Ferragamo.

The snakeskin-inspired embroidery is beautifully executed, the belt keeps things modern and the dress skims Laura’s body in an oh-so-flattering way.

What really make this look pop are Laura’s newly auburn tresses though. As a blond, this dress would have washed Laura out, but the warm tone ties everything together.

A dusty rose lip is the perfect finishing detail.

Laura Dern turned heads on the red carpet of the 2013 Emmy Awards.

The ‘Enlightened’ star wore a short-sleeved, peek-a-boo Naeem Khan Spring 2014 gown.

The art deco inspired gown was an excellent choice for Laura’s slender frame and really helped her stand out on the carpet.

I would have preferred to see something a bit more polished with her hair to accompany the striking gown, but the tousled waves are sweet.

A few subtle and well-placed Dionea Orcini jewels finished off her look.
