‘Alexander McQueen: Savage Beauty’ Exhibition Red Carpet Roundup

Here is a roundup of the rest of the attendees at the private view for the ‘Alexander McQueen: Savage Beauty’ exhibition held at the Victoria & Albert Museum on Thursday (March 12) in London, England.

Naomi Campbell: The model wore an Alexander McQueen Spring 2007 black trapped petal tulle dress with ostrich feathers, which was very chic, but the fur Fendi ‘Pequin’ bolero was a tad overkill.

Laura Carmichael: The ‘Downton Abbey’ star didn’t get the memo, opting for a Christopher Kane black V-neck slip top and black skirt with patent detailing from the Pre-Fall 2015 collection styled with Shaun Leane jewels. Considering Laura’s play-it-safe style, this was perhaps the right look for her.

Erin O’Connor: When referencing statuesque beauties, Erin is always my go-to woman, and here’s why. She looked striking and powerful wearing a tailored-to-perfection white Alexander McQueen Resort 2013 tuxedo-inspired gown. This is the very epitome of elegance.

Laura Carmichael In Vionnet – 2015 SAG Awards

Laura Carmichael In Vionnet - 2015 SAG Awards

Laura Carmichael attended the 2015 SAG Awards held on Sunday evening (January 25) at The Shrine Auditorium in Los Angeles, California.

The ‘Downton Abbey’ actress wore a white dress with a sheer, patterned skirt from Vionnet Spring 2015.

I’m absolutely wild for this whole look. It’s edgy and modern and sexy and it doesn’t hurt that Laura has legs for days. Drop earrings were a perfect finishing touch. The night is still young but I’m calling it now that this one will place Laura among the evening’s best dressed.

The dress had a lot going on and Laura made an excellent decision not over styling it. Beachy hair, red lips and simple shoes complete what I consider a perfect look.

Laura Carmichael In Donna Karan – Entertainment Weekly’s Party Honouring The SAG Nominees

Laura Carmichael In Donna Karan - Entertainment Weekly’s Party Honouring The SAG Nominees

Laura Carmichael attended Entertainment Weekly’s celebration honouring the 2015 SAG awards nominees held at Chateau Marmont on Saturday (January 24) in Los Angeles, California following the Women In Hollywood event from the previous day.

The ‘Downton Abbey’ actress often plays it safe, but on this occasion a Donna Karan LBD had a little more bite.

The streamlined silhouette is elevated by sheer gunmetal chains criss-crossing the bodice which makes this perhaps the sexiest look she’s ever served up on the red carpet.

Styled with black Stuart Weitzman ‘Nudists’ and a grey, metallic Edie Parker clutch, she vamps up the look further with defined cat-eyes.

Refreshing attempt at something new, or is it not really her style?

A celebration for Women in Hollywood with Champagne Taittinger held at Sunset Tower on Friday (January 23) in West Hollywood, California was attended by Laura Carmichael.

The ‘Downton Abbey’ actress continued her love for everything summery wearing a Thakoon coloured Spring 2015 dress.

Effortlessly elegant, this clean-cut minimalist frock, featuring subtle cut-outs, was styled with nude Stuart Weitzman ‘Nudists’ and a blush-hue oeffler Randall envelope clutch.

Too one-note or the epitome of minimalist refinement?

Laura Carmichael, Eleanor Tomlinson & Joanne Froggatt - 'Wolf Hall' Celebration

On Sunday (January 18), Laura Carmichael, Eleanor Tomlinson and Joanne Froggatt attended an afternoon tea held at the British Consulate to celebrate ‘Wolf Hall’, airing on PBS, in Los Angeles, California.

Laura Carmichael: The ‘Downton Abbey’ actress wore one of her favourite designers, selecting a summery floral-print frock from Erdem’s Resort 2015 collection. Styled with a Chloe ‘Drew’ nude-hued bag and navy suede pumps, tousled tresses and a pink lip completed her daytime-chic look.

Eleanor Tomlinson: The ‘Poldark’ actress unexpectedly styled her dainty garden-party yellow hued frock with yellow and pink edgy sandals.

Joanne Froggatt: I love Joanne’s style as she always appears to be having fun with what she wears. Here, she donned a flirty black and pink flared Issa design styled with gold Giuseppe Zanotti sandals and a black Jimmy Choo clutch.
