Laura Bailey In Roksanda Ilincic – British Fashion Awards 2013

Laura Bailey In Roksanda Ilincic - British Fashion Awards 2013

Laura Bailey brought my wish-list dress to life on Monday at the 2013 British Fashion Awards held at the London Coliseum in England.

The British model wore a Roksanda Ilincic baby-pink sleeveless dress with gold embellished detailing from the Serbian designer’s Fall 2013 collection.

Her glistening frock was styled with a multi-coloured polka-dot clutch and Charlotte Olympia ‘Rising Star’ sandals featuring star decals emblazoned with Swarovski crystals at the block heel and front island platform.

Laura’s look was completed with sexy cat-eyes vamping up her sugary frock.

‘David Bowie Is’ Exhibition Private Viewing Red Carpet Round Up

Gucci Womens round up

There were many more stylish stars who took to the red carpet last night for the private viewing of ‘David Bowie Is’ at the Victoria & Albert Museum in London, England.

Edie Campbell: Now sporting hard-to-get-used-to raven locks, the model worked her new ‘do wearing an all-black Gucci Spring 2013 look, featuring a tulle-neck top, flared pants and Gucci strappy sandals with a side buckle. Are you having a hard time getting used to her edgier look?

Laura Bailey: The model lightened things up, wearing a look from Gucci’s Resort 2013 collection. In stark contrast with Edie’s edgy look, Laura’s breezy floral-print blue-striped dress was styled with an ivory cardigan and the red carpet’s hottest property – white pumps. Chic and elegant personified, as always.

Pixie Geldof: Never one to blend into the background – which I love about her – the model wore a hot-pink fringed Gucci Spring 2013 dress, which she styled with a bright-pink oversized Whistles clutch monogrammed with her initials. The shoes let the side down, but I love everything else that is going on north of her ankles.

Vanessa Kirby: The ‘Agatha Christie’ actress donned a cream duchess-satin short-sleeved cocktail dress with tonal embellishments around the neckline, which you may remember we first saw last year on Kerry Washington in coral. Vanessa styled her look with grey – not silver – printed Gucci cuffed sandals and a gold Gucci box clutch. This is another look I like from the ankles up. The shoe colour throws things off for me. I think I would’ve even preferred white on this occasion… yes, I am slowly coming around to white pumps on the red carpet, but would still never purchase a pair.

Laura Bailey In Roksanda Illinic – 2013 BAFTA Awards

Laura Bailey joined Marion Cotillard and Andrea Riseborough in their attempts to lift the gloomy weather by donning a zesty colour on the red carpet at the Royal Opera House in London on Sunday evening for the 2013 BAFTA Awards.

Braving the rain and the cold, she wore a bright red Roksanda Ilincic Resort 2013 sleeveless gown.

The gown may not have the pizzazz of Marion or Andrea’s gown, but for those who love the minimalist approach to red carpet dressing this look is sure to delight.

A Christopher Kane embellished clutch and emerald earrings completed her look.

Tunnel of Love @ Proud Camden

Celebrities gathered in London last night for the Tunnel of Love event in aid of The British Heart Foundation at Proud in Camden.

Pixie Geldof: The TV star opted for a blue shirt dress with mustard-and-cream detailing. She completed her look with Topshop silver shoes and a McQ Alexander McQueen Kingsland transparent shopper. I have never understood the concept of having a bag where the world can see the contents.

Peaches Geldof: The glowing new mum looked radiant wearing a Dolce & Gabbana maxi floral dress which she styled with a red clutch and a gold necklace. I can’t fault a single thing about this look.

Laura Bailey: I don’t care if she’s wearing white shoes on this occasion; I just love her summery Jonathan Saunders Freda degradé jacquard dress. I have been waiting for such a long time for this dress to hit the red carpet.

Daisy Lowe: The model also wore a summery white dotted strapless Dolce & Gabbana. These types of cutesy sugary dresses really suit her quirky style, but her shoe choice could’ve been better.

Who Wore Topshop Better? Fearne Cotton, Pixie Geldof, Laura Bailey, Kirsten Dunst or Saoirse Ronan

We first spotted the Topshop navy polka-dot midi dress on Fearne Cotton early last month.

She wore the dress with red crisscross suede pumps, when she attended Freddie Mercury’s 65th birthday in aid of the Mercury Phoenix Trust in London.

Pixie Geldof wore the same dress a week later when she helped open the new Westfield Stratford City shopping centre in London.

Sporting golden curly locks, the socialite accessorized with gold-hooped earrings and black peep-toes.

Model Laura Bailey wore the same dress to the Quintessentially Awards in London.

She also accessorized with black peep-toes plus a black quilted Chanel bag. Messy hair and red lips completed her look.

A few days later, Kirsten Dunst wore the same dress whilst arriving at Heathrow airport en route to the US following her ‘Melancholia’ premiere.

Brown shades, triple-strap ballet pumps, a Celine Boston tote and a Sofia Coppola for Louis Vuitton bag completed her look.

Finally, Saoirse Ronan donned this now very popular Topshop dress for the grand opening of ‘The Lir’ at the National Academy of Dramatic Art, Trinity College Dublin in Ireland last week.

On the fifth outing for this dress, the young actress added tan lace-up heels and a gold necklace.

Save Fearne, I’m not crazy about any of their shoe choices, but my final vote goes to Pixie.

It’s refreshing to me to see her looking quite cute and girlie for a change.
