La La Anthony joined Rita Ora on the red carpet at the Edison Ballroom in New York City yesterday evening for Elle’s Women in Music Celebration.

Usually I’m a big fan of La La’s style, but on this occasion this white Stella McCartney Spring 2013 sheer plissé dress is doing nothing for her.

She has an amazing figure, but it is most definitely not showcased here.

I will give her credit for trying to elevate the look with the lime-green Dior pumps, Forevermark jewels, aqua manicure and red lippie, but all to no avail.

She can do so much better than this.

La La Anthony was in Miami to host the Market America Annual World Conference, where she also promoted her ‘Motives for La La’ makeup line.

The TV host donned a bright-yellow Stella McCartney Resort 2013 frock for the occasion.

You couldn’t miss her on stage: the colour, the floral embroidery and the flapper-esque fringed detailing lit up the venue.

Never one to disappoint in the shoe department, La La sported the very same Christian Louboutin ‘Arnold’ python-and-mirrored sandals I had on my favourites list last week.

You may remember that Qin Lan wore this same Stella McCartney dress late last year.
